| Got a new laptop from work and upset Posted: 03 Sep 2020 12:04 PM PDT I was using an old lenovo t470 thinkpad 14 inch i5 6200 matte non touch never had eye strains here and there Work gave me a new one lenovo carbon x1 glossy 14 inch i5 8265u 4th gen loved it But after a while started getting eye strains I looked into it and it has no pwm cannot see on camera, but could be a thing called temporal dithering My question

I want to play some games on it such as BeamNG Drive (I don't mind not playing on maximum graphic settings). It can't have Intel graphics because BeamNG doesn't work with them. It clearly says brand new on the page and the seller seems to have good reviews on Trustpilot, but a lot of the reviews seems short and all saying the same thing just worded different. | HP ENVY x360 Laptop Audio Randomly Disconnects During Calls Posted: 03 Sep 2020 01:19 PM PDT Hello, I just got this laptop within the last month for personal/work stuff. EVERYTIME I used this laptop for zoom/google chat/etc. it will randomly disconnect after about 30 minutes and blare this horrible continuous sound until I have to manually shut it down (even shutting it down with the start menu doesn't stop the noise). There will be a message like "mic disconnected/not detected". I tried googling this issue but found nothing. I updated my drives, restarted, basically did everything that the virtual agent told me to do but nothing has worked. I can't get ahold of customer service. It is still under warranty though. The S145 and 255 G7 are the same price, the M509 is $10 more. I believe the Lenovo's i3-1005G1 is a better processor with better integrated graphics than the Ryzen 3-3200U? The ASUS laptop has more RAM and a bigger SSD, but I'm worried about its performance because it has a weird cooling solution with no heat pipes. https://i2.wp.com/laptopmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/internals-1.jpg?ssl=1 I had a HP laptop and the screen hinges broke and disassembling it was a pain and caused even more issues, so I'm hesitant about buying from HP again. Now the motherboard is damaged and new motherboard is very costly because of all these components. I have seek many technician for repair instead of motherboard replacement but all of them are dont give any gurantee of working and ask too much money just for repair. What should i do?
