After I did that for all apps that can be optimised, my usage went to around 1h SOT per 10% battery, and i just had phone with screen on for an hour and it didn't use a single percent. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Can't update Redmi 7 to MIUI 11 Posted: 02 Aug 2020 08:28 PM PDT When trying to update to MIUI V11.0.4.0, phone downloads then tries to decrypt then says "something went wrong, try again later". Did the same with previous update. Rom file is in Download Rom folder, have tried emptying folder and clearing all date from Updater but no joy Sometimes happen a problem with decrypting too, don't know what to do [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 02 Aug 2020 05:52 PM PDT I am on Global MIUI 11 for Redmi Note 7 Lavender 11.0.1 Android 10, after the 11.0.1 update to Android 10 Discord screensharing viewing has been causing whole phone crashes (Seems like memory leak where after joining stream for a few seconds the phone freezes up and restarts itself, audio and fps and resolution and hardware acceleration change the time taken to crash but its instant or even up to 10 seconds until it freezes itself and crashes). I've contacted Discord support but im unsure if they would be able to fix it as this issue seems very situational and im afraid Xiaomi does not care for global users that much in terms of software development, so I'm just asking if anybody else at all has this problem. Much older APKs of Discord made no difference. I've tried this on a K20 Pro with MIUI 12 and this problem was irrepricable. Thank you. [link] [comments]  | ||

I hear a lot of bad stuff from Tianma panels lately, and I was hoping mine would not arrive with it, but it did. Well, it happens I can still return it until friday, but I'm not sure if these Tianma panels are better now as of 2020.05 lot.Are those problems fixed? Some people had screen problems as quickly as 1 month of use. But I also heard problems from huaxing panels, so... I might be between a rock and a hard place maybe? Anyways I found a huge Note 8 pro deal way cheaper than what I originally paid for my 9 pro almost $100 cheaper. Not sure what I should do. | [MIUI 12] Screen misaligns after rotating landscape app Posted: 02 Aug 2020 01:12 PM PDT I installed MIUI 12 a while ago and ever since my screen misaligns when I have an app open in landscape and turn my phone 180°. It then cuts out at the left and bottom side until I either start another app in landscape or reboot my phone. As you can see it also carries over into normal portrait mode. | Mi camera 1080p cannot scan QR code Posted: 02 Aug 2020 07:35 PM PDT I setup my new camera and got it working. Then changed my region in the Home app, reset the camera and tried to pair again. Since then it is not able to scan the QR code. When I turn it on the light is blinking orange, I hold 3s and it becomes solid, then I present the code to it. | Lag on Redmi Note 9 is related to the notification shade and navigation bar Posted: 02 Aug 2020 06:32 PM PDT ive described the issue here Xiaomi comunity link copy-paste from there As the title says I now verified that the lag on the RN9 (Merlin) is partially at least related to the notification shade and navigation bar because I've noticed that playing pubg on smooth and high frame rate it will start to stutter but with just only drawing the navigation bar and making it appear the lag would go away Evey single time. If you still don't believe me right after quitting pubg I ran a few benchmarks while spamming the notification bar (while it being locked from game booster settings) and the results where the highest I have ever seen As you can see higher than every single RN9 consistently Can the mods please report this to the devs so that they can fix it? hopefully they can optimize the Helio G85 too so can you guys plese comment on it or like ot or something so that the mods and or devs see it long story short if you want to fix the stuttering/lag on a RN9 (merlin) Helio G85 just make the navigation bar appear, just draw it from the side and it will fix it for some time at least, works every single time [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 02 Aug 2020 06:07 PM PDT I have a Mi 9T and I noticed that my USB-C port had a lot of dust inside so I cleaned it out. Then I put my phone to charge, it said fast charging so I went to bed. When I woke up it was still at 17%. I detached and attached the cable again now it charged up to 22%. The stats in the detailed battery menu changes every time I put it to charge. MB_01 always shows as charging but MU_01 sometimes says non-compliant, or nothing attached. And sometimes it goes between high voltage and medium voltage. Did I screw my USB-C port? Lately I've been noticing some audio delay with the buds and I've use them before on my phone and tablet with no delay at all. Is xiaomi known for Bluetooth issues? I live in Mexico, and I can only find it if i switch to China's server. And not only that, even if I switch server, the device won't connect to my router's wifi. Am I the only one with this problem?
