    My gfs parents currently have centurylink at home and they are also supplying tv to them via the coax jack in the wall. We are looking to get Cox internet at their home and we're curious if they could plug the modem into a coax jack in their office and still be able to watch century link tv in their living room and also have centurylink internet. Is all this possible? Internet and tv with Centurylink and cable internet through Cox.

    Today I received a notification from Windows security saying I have a type of trojan called ocammy.c i quickly switched to safe mode and lunched malwarebytes then searched for it but no threats found is it a false posetive?

    What kind of replacement light bulb to buy?

    The Linux Mint OS on my older laptop is taking up the entire storage. The update driver is saying there are two broken packages and to use the “broken” filter to fix them, however, I cannot find that. Any recommendations?

    So I googled and I know I know this question has been asked few times, but I've not been able to find any solution in any thread.

    Attaching screenshots of various things I've tried yet.

    Here is a screenshot of mmc.exe Properties

    Ran a FSC/SCANNOW. Says it found corrupted files

    Ran couple more commands I saw on other threads for similar problems.

    Get-Authenticode for mmc.exe

    Get-Authenticode for devmgmt.msc

    Get-Authenticode for Services.exe

    What do I need to do now?

    Did my external HDD fail?

    It was working fine last night. Then I plugged it to my Mac this morning and tried to access a file, it ejected itself. I plugged it in again, weirdly enough the indication light didn't turn on nor did my Mac detect the HDD for a while. Then I got this exact prompt https://imgur.com/a/U1RpovZ. I hit initialize a few times, nothing happened. It's been a few hours now and it's still the same.

    Is my HDD toast or is it just a matter of the disk head being stuck? Because whenever I plug it in, I hear no moving parts? Could the data be recovered at all?

    It was password protected. I know Initialize erases data but the prompt didn't even ask for my password after I hit Intialize.

    After upgrading to Windows 10 I can't get my PC to shut down or restart.

    Hi all,

    I've just upgraded from Win7 to Win10 and have a strange issue - I can't shut down or restart.

    It shuts down fine in safe mode, but if I boot normally it refuses to shutdown; it stops reading my drives eventually, as it would do with a normal shutdown (hard drive read light goes off), but it just hangs infinitely on the shutting down screen. I have fastboot and hibernation disabled to no avail.

    I also can't find any pointers in Event Viewer.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Lenovo Edge 15 problems with starting

    Hello and thank you in advance, I'll try to give as many details as i can. I have a Lenovo laptop that has been sitting in my parents house for the past year, previous to that the laptop worked fine. When i went and got the laptop I assumed it was still working however i left the battery completely drained and figured I'd need to plug it in, however the dog chewed the charger cable. So, ordered a new one off amazon that said it was for this specific laptop, plugged it in and it was flashing orange. Got a little impatient and tried to power it up when it got to white, the keyboard light up and the screen flashed a bit, then everything powered down. No screen, no keyboard lights, nothing. The only lights that are still on are the charging light, now solid white with a slow blink, and the power light is full on no blinks. I tried to see if the caps lock light would come on, but it doesn't. I've googled the issue and tried everyone's suggestions and nothing is working. Every time i try to boot the same thing happens, keyboard lights up then nothing. It's been plugged in for about 4 hours and I'm assuming it's fully charged. Should i try and take the battery out myself, i have quite a bit of experience working on computers and feel comfortable following a YouTube dissection to remove the battery and reinsert? Or will i need a new battery? Any tips or feedback is well appreciated!
