Ps4 controller charging when gaming on my s8 plus via USB cable. How to disable ?

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 08:12 AM PDT

I just rooted my S8 plus. And I bought Panda gamepad pro to use my ps4 controller for my games like pubg. Obviously bluetooth has latency issue so I used the "Samsung USB connector" that comes with the package. My ps4 controller was successfully connected and I could play games. But it charges my controller and that drains my phone's battery drastically. Is it possible to keep it connected without charging it ?

P.s : It's my first question or reddit and I was confused whether which community to post my question. This seemed the right choice because I want to disable the charging from my Android Device. Thank you.

[PSA] Legends of Runeterra is coming out from tomorrow till 30th, for those of you looking for a mobile PvP F2P friendly game this is the one

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 01:08 PM PDT

Consider at least taking a peak when the game comes out on mobile.

I can't wait to play it on my phone too.

The game is quite easy to "complete" given how much free stuff we get, and tomorrow onwards we will get even more free stuff and faster.

It takes sometime to master some mechanics but nothing hard. And you have an amazing sense of skill progression given how spell mana works, it adds a very deep layer to the more competitive players.

I can keep saying good things about this game all day, just believe me, this is one of, if not, the best game I've ever played.

    Help finding a game?

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 09:51 PM PDT

A while back I got a game which I have since uninstalled. It was a platformer in which uou played as a little girl with a sad backstory (Although I didn't play long enough to find it out). You could push a button to flip colors of the map, making the air platform and the platform air. IK this sounds like every game ever but am hoping it rings a bell work one of you?

Which 10tons game should I buy?

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 09:25 PM PDT

I was looking at 10tons games and all of them look absolutely phenomenal and I was confused as to which one should I play first?

I want to play a twin stick shoot em up with deep metagame mechanics. I don't want those "How long can you survive?" type deals where you repeat the same game over and over without any change.

Also destructible environment is great. I am looking at Neon Chrome or Jydge or Tesla Vs Lovecraft. Which of these should I play?

[REQUEST] Multiplayer and multiday (fixed time frame per turn) game recommendations

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 05:39 PM PDT

    Hey folks,

Earlier today I saw a post about games with unique economies. Someone recommended Farm Wars, which is a little multiplayer and multiday game. Installed and got addicted right away.

The case is I like this specific kind of games. Not the ones like Tribal Wars or anything where who got in there first has an advantage.

Do you know more games like this? I already know Subterfuge (played on launch but sadly it has no support anymore), Warzone (Risk with multiday matches) and Through the Ages (in fact I know a lot of multiday digital boardgames, but this one is gold).

In that thread I mentioned someone talked about Hades Star, but something tells me it is not based on a limited time frame.

    Help finding a game!!!

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 10:12 AM PDT

As the title says. I need help finding a mobile game. All I remember about it it's that it's dialogue driven and you play as a god(I believe.) One of the first choices u can make is creating a race with four arms or long legs or something like that and determine if the race is hella strong or hella fast. There really isn't anything visual aside from the dialogue and the choices you make.

Hope someone knows what the hell I'm talking bout🤣🤣

Life Is Strange. Worth buying the rest of the game?

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 02:41 PM PDT

I played Life Is Strange a few days ago. Beautiful game. Square Enix really created something that is next level. The story, the characters, the voice acting - top class. Most games on consoles lack the quality of this title. But I was pretty bummed when I saw Episodes 2 and up have to be purchased. I've never spent currency on any in-game purchases but I'm seriously considering buying the rest of the game. Is it worth it? No spoilers, that would suck. Thanks in advance.

Just played Sword of Ditto and it could be such a good game

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 08:35 PM PDT

It has a beautiful art style, great zelda like game design, fun combat and progression. The only problem is the move stick sucks. It's crazy how much better it would be and how much more playable it would be if it had a fixed control stick. It's so difficult to keep moving bc it feels like the stick resets whenever you shift directions and I eventually run out of screen forcing me to have to lift my finger and try again. It is really difficult to get used to and holds the game back from being a good game. It's incredibly frustrating to see a good product ruined by a simple but imperative ui design.

[REQUEST] Board game experts, need an advice

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 11:41 AM PDT

First, I hope you are doing ok on this covid19 days.

I decided I wanna purchase a digital board game adaptation with online multiplayer system, while playing Risk, I noticed there are several in game purchases available to remove ads, get access to new maps, etc etc, so I was about to do it but then I stopped to think "if I'm gonna spend some cash on this, maybe there are better options out there", with that being said I need your advice now.

I've read a couple posts here and people recommends several games, Carcassonne, 7 wonders, space trucker, ticket to ride are some that kind of caught my attention maybe there are more that I'm not taking into consideration and I should, that's where I need you!

I would like to get one with: A considerable players base That won't make me get a bunch of expansions to get randoms to play (maybe later I will get some or maybe a different game instead) Maybe with hand to hand function (not really necessary)

Thank in advanced for your comments

Both Modern Combat Versus and Shadowgun War Games are style over substance at it's finest.

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 06:51 PM PDT

Who else agrees that these games are peak Overwatch mindless cloning? MCV has multiple heroes eatch with one skill and one gun, the game's soooo slow and reloading takes way too long, and i honestly feel like i'm playing with bots rather actual players, Shadowgun on the other hand copies Overwatch to a fault, from character designs and names to the downright broken balance of the game, most of the heroes barely deal any damage at all.

[REQUEST] Game similar to Taptitude (which was a compilation of minigames, currencies and crafting)

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 09:40 AM PDT

    1. I'm looking for a game that's possibly a compilation of minigames, similar to the old Taptitude which I loved to death, or a game (RPGs are okay too!) with a large range of activities.
    2. You get materials as you play the game and can spend them in other minigames or area of the game, or you can craft other stuff usable in different areas of the game. This was one of my favourite parts of Taptitude.
    3. Prefer premium, minimal amount of ads, minimal micro-transactions. Free is okay too as long as it doesn't have a million ads like the "100+1 games!" -style games I've tried, and as long as you can actually play the game without spending money on micro-transactions.

Has anyone tried to pair and use nyko core wireless controller on phone?

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 03:48 AM PDT

I bought this controller purely for Nintendo switch but realized that on the manual, it says that it can be used on Android devices as well. So here I am... I am using OnePlus 6. Pairing isn't an issue as my phone can detect and connect to the controller. But Somehow the button is not working the I thought maybe I should try to calibrate it or something. So I install this app called octopus (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chaozhuo.gameassistant) and same result. Can detect the controller but can't detect the button/joystick. Maybe this nyko core wireless controller is purely made for switch? Anyone has experience this before?

Is Honkai Impact 3rd worth it?

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 12:31 PM PDT

My internet connection kind of sucks right now and leaving my phone just lying there for god knows how many hours downloading something that I may uninstall in minutes doesn't sound appealing at all.

Side note: The game only gives me the option to download HD assets, which are almost 4GB. Any clues to why I can't seem to download the lower quality ones? (Something that I would actually prefer in order to save battery life and not have my phone feeling like a toaster oven)

Question about pushing a game live on Google Play Console

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 12:09 PM PDT

I've been working on a game for several months now, it has gone through the various stages of testing and we're getting ready to push it out live. I see a big "Release to Production" button. Is that all I press and then my game is live on the Play Store?

It might seem like a silly question, but I ask because on iOS I know I have to submit it for review before it actually goes on the store. Once they've reviewed it you then get the button to push it live, so I'm just curious if there's a similar process for the Play Store or if that's the only button and then we're in business?

Melvor Idle - Amazing Runescape-esque Idle Game

    Posted: 27 Apr 2020 02:27 AM PDT

    Link here - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.malcs.melvoridle

My friend recommended this little gem to me. The android app is just a website wrapper so it can be played on just about anything. Did a quick search here and saw it hadn't been posted before, the Android app only has about 85 reviews so I doubt too many people know about it.

I usually dislike idling games and I was pleasantly surprised by how fun this was. I'm actually enjoying playing this more than BDO mobile, possibly because I don't PVP and it's getting a bit stale.
