| Unable to stop Android app called 10355 that's draining the battery Posted: 01 Apr 2020 10:55 PM PDT I've noticed my phone's battery keeps getting drained. I went to Battery Usage and it says an Android app called "10355" has over 80% battery usage. The icon is the Droid robot. But when I look under the full list of Apps and System Apps this "10355" isn't listed there. How can I figure out what this app is and how to stop it? It's a Moto e5 phone and it's using Android 8. Posted: 02 Apr 2020 03:45 AM PDT This may be purely anecdotal or just confirmation bias, but it seems like my battery just gets absolutely hammered when using the MS RDP app compared to watching a 1080p60 YouTube video or watching high bitrate 1080p60 twitch streams. | Netflix no longer appears in the Play Store on my tablet. Posted: 01 Apr 2020 04:43 PM PDT Hey guys. A few weeks ago, I deleted Netflix on my Samsung Galaxy Tab E about 3 few weeks ago because it stopped working. I left it for a few weeks so that I could download it again. However, the app no longer appears on the Google Play Store. All it does is show movies/TV shows and the prices of them whenever O search for Netflix. Does this mean that Netflix has been removed from the Play Store on my type of tablet? Is there any way that this can be fixed? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 01 Apr 2020 08:01 PM PDT I have a Motorola G7. I believe it was an unlocked phone when I bought it, activated at Best Buy (my carrier is Verizon). I bought a new unlocked version of the same phone, Motorola G7. I backed up my data onto the new phone and am now trying to activate it myself. I popped out the sim and SD cards, and placed them into the new phone. The phone didn't work. Popped them back into the old phone to make sure I hadn't damaged the cards, and sure enough they still work fine. What else do I need to do in order to activate the new phone? | Gboard suddenly stopped recognising skipped spaces Posted: 01 Apr 2020 03:14 PM PDT So basically I never had problems with typoing the spacebar, Gboard would always recognise what I meant, even with extra letter-type typos. For example, I could type "gomasz" and Gboard would correctly suggest "co masz" (I type in Polish on Dvorak). But then, at some point it suddenly stopped doing that and now it can only come up with Tomasz (a given name) and Tomaszów (a town). I believe it was around the time I flashed Android 10 on my phone (over Pie), so could it be a different version of Gboard that's installed when running Android 10 that removes that feature? I have tried it on a OnePlus 6 android 10 oxygen os , OnePlus 5 android 9 oxygen os, OnePlus 5t unknown android version, Samsung S20 android 10. They are all played on the stock gallery app and it stutters. This file plays fine on Windows 10 mpc-hc can anyone else possibly test this file on their stock gallery video player and tell me if it stutters for them? | Missing emojis on the Gboard app? (App/device/possible root) Posted: 01 Apr 2020 11:14 PM PDT I have just found out there are new emojis on this keyboard. The app worked at first. The new emojis would show in text as squares, but posted just fine. Then they were all randomly removed from my keyboard. I really want to use the pleading, 3 hearts on face and hot face emojis. These emojis convey feelings I just don't get with the others. There are many more I also saw. There must have been at least fifty stripped away. The other versions are okay, but I really want the Google versions. My phone is still at Android version 8.1. So I'm stuck using caveman emojis at the moment. Apparently I need Android 10 for the newer emojis. But if they worked before, it wouldn't make sense for it to stop working out of nowhere. Rooting may have to be done, but I know absolutely nothing about it, so I am terrified of the thought. I am currently searching for more apps because reinstalling this one did not work. But still, even on mobile data two apps always auto update. Google Play and Facebook lite. I could partially understand Google play being let to auto update but Facebook lite?!
