Netflix suddenly incompatible with device Posted: 30 Jan 2020 10:55 AM PST So here's what I've been dealing with on the most recent A10 build on my 6T
My phone had the international conversion done but I have never had issues like this until these recent A10 builds. What can I even do? I consume most of my media on this device and it's frustrating not being able to use Google pay. Theres probably a bunch of other issues I haven't even noticed yet [link] [comments]
USB C headphone mode cutting in out? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 04:49 PM PST I have seen a issue with my USB C while in headphone mode. The headphone mode would keep disconnecting and reconnecting to the phones main speaker system 😡. I do not know how to fix this issue or if anyone is having this issue as well. I am using a OnePlus 6T that is nearly or more than a year old and my phone is in very good condition. I do not see a reason for this to happen nor do I know how to fix this issue! Please let me know what I can do! [link] [comments]
Color calibration (sRGB) broken with latest Update Posted: 30 Jan 2020 09:48 AM PST I just got the newest update from Oneplus for my 6T and apparently it completely broke the sRGB color calibration. Colors are *way* too vivid now and the overall color of the screen seems to be stuck halfway in night mode (it's all just too yellow). Anybody else experiencing these issues? [link] [comments]

OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren Edition on Verizon Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:21 AM PST Ok, I went through the laborious process of getting this phone to work on Verizon and wanted to share the exact steps I had to take to get it to work. This should work with the regular OP 7T Pro but i make no guarantees as I only have the Mclaren Edition (ME). This phone will work with Verizon with all features enabled. HD voice, VoLTE, Visual Voicemail, texting, etc all works once you follow the steps. First, what happened when I just swapped the SIM card from my old Pixel 3 XL to the 7T Pro ME. Calls worked, HD Voice worked, texting out worked and VoLTE worked but incoming texts and visual voicemail both failed. I went through several calls into tech support with no success. They tried adding the phone to the database, twice, and both times it was rejected. Verizon will not officially support this phone, but it can be made to work. Step 1 is critical though unless you've already owned a supported phone that does not have CDMA. Step 1 - If possible go to a Verizon store, or this step can be skipped if you have a newer Samsung Galaxy phone at your disposal (or any phone that is supported by Verizon but has no CDMA capabilities). Your SIM card needs to be activated on a supported phone that does not have CDMA. This is critical as the techs will not be able to get it to work without this step (trust me, I tried). Step 2 - Once your SIM has been activated on a supported phone above then the tech will be able to add "CDMA-less" to your account. They will not be able to force the feature on your account unless your SIM is associated with a supported phone without CDMA. They even went as far as to find the code for that feature and tried to force it onto my account but it would not take. That's it! Once the CDMA-less tag is on the account you can put the SIM card back in the 7T Pro ME and boot it up. It may require a couple of reboots but give it some time. Mine took 2 reboots and about 10 minutes, then everything worked perfectly. I hope this helps someone. It took me almost 2 weeks of calling support and going through several different techs until I managed to get all the information needed (namely step 1) to get this to work. I had found the CDMA-less feature mentioned in a previous post in this subreddit, but I never saw anything mentioned about not being able to get that feature added without step 1. Posted: 30 Jan 2020 07:37 PM PST Well, I recently bought a OnePlus 7T. It came in today, and I just found out Wifi calling/texting does not work with my provider (Verizon) and switching to google Fi will not fix that either. I do not have service where I live, so this is a must. Looks light I will be returning my phone. bummer [link] [comments]
Stopped Getting OxygenOs Updates-OP6 Posted: 30 Jan 2020 07:10 PM PST Well, pretty much what the title says. I have an Oneplus 6 and still running OxygenOs 9.09 with August, 2019 security patch.Just one additional bit of info. I bought the device in India and used it there for about 1 year. I moved to UK in July, 19 and did get some updates initially. But absolutely nothing thereafter. No Android 10, no security patches, just nothing. I can live without Android 10, but absolutely want the security patches. I have tried updating by spoofing my location through VPNs but no luck. Any ideas as to what's going on and if there's a way to solve this? Any help would be much appreciated. [link] [comments]
Where can I find 3D phone cases for the OnePlus 6T? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 03:35 AM PST Maybe I'm super late to the trend but I really want one of those 3D silicon phone cases, the kind shaped like a hotdog or an entire bear. It seems like they only make them for iPhones on eBay and Etsy. Does anyone here know where I could find this kind of case? Thanks! [link] [comments]
OP6T rebooted two nights in a row Posted: 30 Jan 2020 04:46 AM PST Updated to 10.3.1 a week ago and phone have been working as expected. But two nights a go I woke up to a rebooted phone. Shrugged it off as a one time incident, but the same thing happened this night as well. Checked the usual suspects, power monitor scheduled reboot, updated all apps, deleting caches and some other stuff I found from some other threads with similar problems. I just pulled the trace-logs from /data/ANR and I can see two system panics both occurring during the night one at 4:55 two days ago and one at 4:52 this night. Both files point to high cpu usage from com.google.android.gms and this seems to be tied in with google play services. My first thought was that it was trying to do a scheduled backup or some other syncing during the night, but backup seems to have been run earlier during the day. I cleared out caches for all google services and will try to put the phone in safe mode during the night to see if it still crashes. Anyone seen anything similar? [link] [comments]
Can I just buy a dual-sim tray for a 7 Pro that came with a single-sim tray? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 05:31 PM PST Or would something about the T-Mobile model's hardware or software not allow it? [link] [comments]
Any way to disable silent mode or force silent mode to allow vibrations? (5t model) Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:02 AM PST Since one plus changed the slider positioning such that the top most is Silent, middle is vibrate and bottom is ring (it used to be top was vibrate) my slider keeps getting bumped into the silent position and I miss calls. I want vibrations to come through for calls and texts when in silent mode. Any way accomplish this without having to root my phone? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2020 04:26 PM PST Hi, got op3t with airpods gen 1. Volume is low and absolute volume didn't change anything, when I use them with ios is almost double the volume. What can I do ? I m not joking I PP 5$ if someone finds a solution for this. I'm going Crazy :( [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2020 03:46 PM PST Just wondering if anyone noticed that the image quality of the stock camera ,since all the updates thru apk mirror it does a better job than the gcam does. Im running version 3.8.107. The night sight feature on the gcam is still second to none, the stock cam has improved quite a bit [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2020 07:02 AM PST Why does oneplus not have the option to see past user data of the steps taken using the Step Counter ? If the phone can record steps on a daily basis, I am sure it can display past user data of the steps taken from previous days! [link] [comments]
Volume levels all over the place Posted: 30 Jan 2020 01:29 PM PST Does anyone else's OP7 volume controls have a mind of their own? It is always changing the volume levels for no reason and now it's changing itself to vibrate even though the slider is in the ring setting. (I bought a case to prevent that slider from moving in my pocket long long ago but this part is new.) Alarm volume will be at the lowest possible level even though I set it to high hours ago. I'm missing important calls and texts because of this. [link] [comments]
1+6T, ringtones go missing or revert to default randomly? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 12:54 PM PST all ringtones disappeared after the most recent update. found this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/ejcoei/a10_missing_ringtones_in_settings/ this did in fact bring all the ringtone options back, but now every so often, my phone will get a notification and the ringtone and notification settings are default again. seems to happen once every few days. Do I need to care about the SAR value before buying the oneplus 7 pro? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 03:02 AM PST There is a really good deal on the oneplus 7 pro in my country but I found out that it has a quite high SAR value should I care about it? Does a high SAR value effect the human body? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2020 11:46 AM PST Can you somehow pair the Samsung Galaxy buds to let them work like they do on the Galaxy phones? What I mean by that is for example: can you get the Galaxy buds to auto-pair with my OnePlus phone by opening the buds case? [link] [comments]
