Is it possible to disable pull down status bar? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 08:58 PM PST I am currently using K20 Pro, and I have spent many hours just to find a way to disable pull down status bar while I am gaming. Is there a way to do it? I even try immersive mode, but it only hide the status bar not to disable it. [link] [comments] |
Redmi 8 Battery Life is amazing... Posted: 16 Dec 2019 08:32 PM PST Been using the phone for 2 days with single charge. Mobile Data or Wifi was on most of the time. No gaming just browsing or listening to Podcast/Youtube. Airplane mode while asleep. Bluetooth sometimes on for MiFit. Really satisfied with the 5000mah battery. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 08:05 PM PST Whenever I press the button on the earphones, it pauses the video. But all of a sudden, today, it only MUTES the audio, and when it mutes, it doesnt toggle the video settings to "mute", but rather no sound comes through the headphones, while the video still plays on. Is there any fix for this? Edit: ALSO, my left earphone has this weird "fa mi re do" sound that randomly plays when I remove it from the charger for use. It is definitely produced by the earphones itself because I have nothing playing in the background. WTF is this? [link] [comments] |

Mi 9 Mirror/Cast To PC&TV in good quality/60frames? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 09:51 PM PST Anyone had any luck casting to PC monitor from Mi 9? I want to cast movies/gaming to my pc monitor/tv, but so far I've had either extreme latency from the cast or horrible quality. I've tried: Any other ideas? My old s6 edge did this no problems at all with all 3 programs, but for some reason my new Mi 9 doesn't. [link] [comments] |
Is the Mediatek G90T reliable? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 09:46 PM PST I am seriously considering getting the Note 8 Pro as my new phone. But I have watched some YouTube videos online where some Note 8 Pros have overheating issues and poor battery life, while others have no issues with that at all. Does anyone that owns a Note 8 Pro have these issues? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 05:54 PM PST Anyone figured out how to remove quick bar if you swipe down from top on locked screen? Might be annoying if you pocket press the lock button. On MIUI 11 that is. Question about the Xiaomi Redmi airdots for an iPhone user. Posted: 16 Dec 2019 04:46 PM PST I recently bought the xiaomi Redmi airdots for my android phone and I have to say that I am really impressed with them. I also used the macrodroid app in order to be able to go to the next song and it works great. I now want to buy another pair for my sister. The thing is that she has an iPhone and after I did some searching I noticed that the macrodroid app doesn't exist on IOS. Is there and alternative app that I can use to remap the buttons? Which SSD? Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15.6″ i7 16GB/256GB Posted: 16 Dec 2019 01:58 PM PST I have combed through countless posts here and other websites trying to figure out which type of m.2 SSD I need for a secondary drive. I keep getting conflicting answers but from what I gather the primary SSD slot is NVMe and the secondary slot is only m.2 SATA and not as fast or something like that? The SSD I have looked at have different notches where they plug in depending on which style they are. To be clear, I am looking for a 1 Terabyte secondary drive for storage. [link] [comments] |
Redmi Note 8 Pro video sharpness Posted: 16 Dec 2019 11:33 AM PST I just buoght this model today and it's my first experience with an Xiaomi. Now the problem come: i noticed that videos that haven't HDR support look sharpened even at 1080p+ quality. I wrote to Xiaomi support and they tell me that it is a known issue and they said to me to wait for update. I must give it back or you suggest to wait beacuse a fix will come? This issue is present on Youtube app, Netflix and similar app, the only one that seems to does't have this problem is Firefox app, also if i watch YT on it, it looks great. [link] [comments] |

How did even the idea of Mi A3 with a 720p screen came to pass? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 05:34 PM PST I'm a Mi A1 user and I'm happy with it. The only reason why I haven't bought A2 when it came out is because I generally change my phones about every two and a half years and, since I never pay more than around 250 euros for the phone, I was pretty sure I was going to upgrade to A3 some time before next summer. In the meantime, my dad's old phone died and he asked me to buy him a new one, so I went and bought him a A3. And I've been messing around with it for the last couple of days and one thing just insults my intelligence, just... Why would Xiaomi downgrade the screen resolution? It's true about AMOLED, it's a great technology, it makes the colors look alive and bright, but, I'm holding this two phones next to one another, A1 and A3, and A1 still has a better screen. It's ridiculous. It's a deal breaker, for sure. Phones, especially the ones of the same line, unless I've been living under the rock, are supposed to be better with each new iteration. You know, more RAM, better screen, better camera, CPU, GPU... How did this happen? I've seen conspiracy theories that Xiaomi is purposely killing the A-series because they make a living out of MIUI, but I'm not prone to believe it. Right now, I think Xiaomi just lost a customer.
