| Posted: 13 Dec 2019 09:31 AM PST iOS is so restricted all the time. It feels like I have a gate in front of me and Apple won't let me go. I never realized how much I customize my phone until I got an iPhone and you can't do anything. No App Drawer, No settings in notification bar, no AOD, I don't even have my brightness on auto-brightness, but it changes by itself. Can't get youtube vanced on iOS, you have to pay for premium. One thing I can say Apple succeeds in, is the cameras and App support. Literally every app runs extremely smooth in iOS, Yet you're still limited in them. Most apps, you have to go all the way to the settings app just to configure settings within the app. So, I am back to OP7PRO and never looking back. [link] [comments]  | ||

She really wanted the almond color, but around black Friday it was out of stock. Ordered mirror grey, but the estimated dispatch was December 16th. Eh... Checked the website every couple of days, noticed the almond was back in stock. Contacted oneplus via chat, and they basically told me they couldn't swap the colors even though my order hasn't been started. Rip. Canceled the order to order the almond color, refund comes next day. Go to order the almond oneplus 7 pro, and it's out of stock again. Kill me. Now I have to pray her phone gets here before Christmas. Dang you oneplus on not keeping your phones in stock for more than a day. [link] [comments]  | ||

Once at school and cried in the bathroom apologizing several times to them because I was just trying to turn the volume up on my phone (it was on that side on my old phone) and I hadn't found the setting yet. Then I just did it again. But this time they didn't call me back which I'm taking as a good sign because as soon as it happened I hung up. Like the split second. I'm still on Android 9 with no update enabled on the system updates page in settings. When I try to enable chat features, it'll say I'm good to go but then default back to "off." When I try to turn it back on, it'll say that my device isn't available for chat features. I'm starting to think that it's only for Android 10? My chat version is 5.0.062. I'm on AT&T. I figured I'd give the regular navigation a try again and noticed that now you can swipe between apps like you can on the gesture navigation. Is this new? Is this intentional or is it a bug? | Company does not care when you get your phone and what order your order is processed in. Posted: 13 Dec 2019 08:07 AM PST Firstly, I'd like to say that at this point I'm livid and heavily reconsidering getting involved with this company. I ordered my phone on Nov 30th and was given an estimated shipping out date of Dec 16th and delivery date of Dec 23rd. I checked last night and the EXACT SAME PHONE had a shipping timeline of 24 hours if ordered then. Obviously I contacted support to figure out why someone ordering their phone last night would get it within a week, but I still had to wait a week before mine even SHIPPED. An hour and a half later the only thing I was able to get from the supervisor of the chat is that when I ordered the phones they were out of stock, but now they have them in stock. So people ordering now will get the fast shipping time, but they can't change when my order ships and I have to wait. The cherry on top is that for me to get the order shipped quicker I had to place a new one and cancel my old one. In what world does someone else's order get processed and shipped before a customer's that had been placed TWO WEEKS ago? I just needed to rant. | Keyboard issues with Q and P buttons Posted: 13 Dec 2019 04:49 PM PST US 7T variant. Is anyone else having issues where those corner 2 buttons do not detect a press immediately sometimes? I've noticed it most when I'm going for their secondary characters that it'll take an extra half second to second to register. I've verified this happens with the stock keyboard, SwiftKey, and Gboard. I have the secondary switch item set to 150ms and that's part of why I realized this. Note that I have gestures turned off and traditional navigation enabled, so it shouldn't be an edge misdetection issue. Thanks for any input! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Randomly not receiving sound when making/receiving calls in my One Plus 7 Pro. Posted: 13 Dec 2019 06:39 PM PST This has never happened to me and because it happens randomly I'm assuming its not an hardware issue but I'm a tad worried either way. This afternoon I was making a call and I could not hear the beeping sounds that you are supposed to hear when you call someone and when they picked up the phone I could not hear anything they were saying. I tried speaker mode and got the same result. I hanged up and called right after and that time I was able to hear everything. Fast forward a couple hours I call my SO and the problem repeats itself. This time I call her 3/4 times before being able to hear anything. It also happens when receiving calls but it is really random. I tried shutting off Bluetooth because I though it could have something to do with a wireless headphone i recently bought for my pc but I got the same result. Randomly not hearing anything when making/receiving calls. Has this happened to anyone before? Or is this a problem with and update that I wasn't aware and just got lucky it didn't happen to me before? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 13 Dec 2019 01:29 PM PST Recently I switched from the original Google pixel to a oneplus 7 pro. I just moved my Verizon sim card from my Google pixel to my oneplus. Ever since then I have been having receiving messages, I have received a single message even though I have been sent dozens. I can still send messages, make and receive calls, and use data. I then put my sim card back into my Google pixel to see if it was a sim card problem and all of my messages came in.bi then put the sim card back in my oneplus and the problem continued. something that is also peculiar is that there is no ICCID numbed listed for my sim card in the settings.
