Posted: 09 Dec 2019 04:05 PM PST https://imgur.com/gallery/rvLRcUZ Hi everyone, a week ago I started noticing burn in on the top of my screen. As you can see the connection icons are impressed on the right top of screen with a dark red shade. I've never left the screen on for a long period of time, just every day normal usage. The phone is 6 moth old, is there something that I can do to solve it (except changing it)? Ps: sorry for the bad quality of the image, but I could't use my one plus to take the picture for obvious reasons. [link] [comments]
Let’s talk about lack of quality control in updates Posted: 08 Dec 2019 11:56 PM PST I want to hear your opinion, but it seems A10 was released waaay too early, and it seems the following are effecting all A10 OnePlus phones:
It feels to me OnePlus is just "sell sell sell" now, and that comes at the cost of quality updates with some damn QA. I mean, they CLEARLY rushed A10 just to get some news articles with all the day 1 bugs and theme inconsistencies. If this keeps up, I can't keep recommending these phones to family members who needs a working phone. Sorry for the rant. I used to love OnePlus software. But A10 is a mess at the moment. 7T GPS / Compass Issues Hardware or Software? Posted: 09 Dec 2019 02:41 PM PST A few days ago, I posted this about my experience with GPS / compass issues. After seeing this post today, I'm beginning to think this may be a software issue and not a hardware one because I have to constantly recalibrate the compass when using Google Maps but it seems to be fine while using HERE Maps. Calibration level in Google Maps keeps changing throughout the day: 2:52 PM: https://i.imgur.com/7A57rxO.jpg 4:35 PM: https://i.imgur.com/zSFUuaA.jpg 5:28 PM: https://i.imgur.com/8rAj3sU.jpg But when I first open up HERE Maps, the icon is off (by maybe 20-30 degrees, not much) like this: https://i.imgur.com/gGVEkHs.jpg and when I wait for a few seconds or point the phone directly up to the sky, it fixes itself like this: https://i.imgur.com/JCizkfn.jpg If this was a hardware issue, shouldn't HERE Maps be wrong as well? Has anyone noticed the same thing on Android 10? Does it seem like a hardware issue or a software one? I initiated an RMA for a return but ideally, I would like to keep the 7T. I originally wanted to return it but the benefits of dual-SIM and speed of 8GB of RAM really make this phone shine. [link] [comments]
A bit of a touch delay with the One Plus 7 Pro? Posted: 09 Dec 2019 08:35 PM PST Hi, I recently got a One Plus 7 Pro for Christmas and the phone is everything I was hoping it'd be, but I've noticed when I'm touching the screen in apps like Reddit, there's a bit of a delay between my touch and the screen responding. Like a fraction of a second, but o don't recall noticing it on my old phone and it's a bit irritating. It doesn't do it when I'm typing on the keyboard. Is this a common occurrence? Is there something I could do to fix it? I'd love any info on this. [link] [comments]
My OP6 camera app is painfully slow Posted: 09 Dec 2019 02:59 PM PST I've had my OP6 since last summer, so over a year now. It's speed is still great, haven't noticed it slow down. Battery life still decent, lasting me all day. However, opening the camera app, as well as taking photos once its opened, is so painfully slow. It also crashes about 30% of the time I open it, especially if I have another app open. Its probably being doing this the last few months, but definitely getting worse and worse. I haven't damaged the phone at all or dropped it or anything. Funnily enough tho, I had the exact same problem with my iPhone 6 previously (camera and camera related apps were so slow). I'm I just cursed with awful camera software? Any explanation from the info I've given you? [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Dec 2019 02:20 PM PST I'm looking for a dock that supports HDMI and works with the OnePlus 7 pro. I'm also looking for a good Bluetooth controller that supports xinput and can preferably hold the OnePlus 7 pro in portrait mode and landscape mode. Any recommendations? [link] [comments]
Question regarding forced 90Hz on the OnePlus 7T Posted: 09 Dec 2019 11:04 AM PST Back when the 7 Pro was released, one of the reasons for which I returned the device was the inconsistent 90hz of the phone. I remember that after a while, a workaround was released to force 90Hz at all time, however, I didn't want to purchase the phone again. Fast forward to today, I want to upgrade to the 7T and I'm wondering if that workaround is still around and functioning. Also, if it is, I'm curious what is the battery life impact for it? For those who have tried it, what is your SoT? [link] [comments]
Worried about Burn? Here is a preventative measure. Posted: 09 Dec 2019 07:09 PM PST Hey all, I see burn in worry posts on here from time to time and as someone who also shares your worries (had a nice burned Nexus 6 for a little bit.)Disclaimer, as stated this is a PREVENTATIVE measure. If your phone is already burned, then this won't help fixing it. The following has worked on current A10 of Oxygen Os, and I previously used it on every version since Nougat. Additionally (although most have it already as a feature,) this will work on nearly every Android Rom as well. If you are rooted,
If you are unrooted, you have to do a little more work, but only just.
The only bug (at least on the 7 Pro, can't say for 7 or 7t,) that some apps don't adjust to expanded mode and can cut off the bottom portion of the screen. The quick fix to this is the apps it does that is to turn the app off from the tile in the status bar menu, (the status bar tile doesn't work on A10, but works fine on Pie,) or from the SystemUi tuner as well. Additionally, I tested this using the navigation bar and a separate (paid) app that gives Pie controls. I have no clue if this works with gestures or pill controls (in theory it should, but I haven't tested it.) If you like the app, support him through a donation (although the app is free regardless,) the app owner stays on top of fixing bugs and updating it. Enjoy and hopefully this helps some of you. When will the 7 Pro (almond) restock? Posted: 09 Dec 2019 03:22 PM PST I've been constantly checking the the website but haven't seen it go back in stock yet, I was just wondering if they have any schedule. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Can't believe Bluetooth issues are still a thing. Posted: 09 Dec 2019 06:52 PM PST I can't get bluetooth to work with my car, it'll connect once and work only if I remove it from both, car and phone. Then after the car is off they both see each other, try to connect but never connect. It seems A10 on the 7TPM is plagued with bluetooth issues like the 7 Pro is. I've attempted to reset the pairing about 5 times, if I can get them to connect successfully and play music, it won't connect again after the car is off. Has anyone else found any solutions to this? '12 Infiniti G37, has worked with all of my previous devices flawlessly since I've owned the car: G5, V20, and Note8 [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Dec 2019 08:34 PM PST I have a OP6T that I bought on release last year through TMobile. Lately my phone has been so laggy that apps will freeze and crash. I can't even scroll web pages, use my camera, text etc. I am constantly restarting my phone to just get it to run smoothly for an hour or two. Do I need to bite the bullet and just back up and reboot? [link] [comments]
7T Pro T-Mobile 5G - No 5g and support little help Posted: 09 Dec 2019 10:45 AM PST Anyone have any issues with actually receiving the new 5G signal? Ignoring the issues with the type of 5G the phone has I am not seeing the 5G icon in numerous known verified 5G areas of Los Angeles. I spent an hour on the phone with T-Mobile support and they eventually just said that the 5G isn't fully rolled out yet and that i'll probably see the 4G base icon until next year.. but I know this isn't true due to all the reviews showing the icon, numerous reddit posts and the MKBHD review on the exact same phone in the exact same area of the city. I'm wondering if it's an APN or SIM provisioning issue but don't know how to get to someone who knows how to help with that. [link] [comments]
Which version of GCam mod? 7TP McLaren Posted: 09 Dec 2019 09:02 AM PST I think the 7TP would also apply obviously but I've tried a few ports that work but get a notification stuck on processing for the night mode. Anyone had luck with a solid port? [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Dec 2019 08:14 PM PST Weird thing happens when watching on my 7 Pro. When I swipe to minimize, the video continues to play but isn't showing on screen. If I tap bottom right where it'd normally be, then the screen shows up. Anyone else seen this? [link] [comments]

How to force individual apps to 90hz (no root required) Posted: 09 Dec 2019 01:54 PM PST As some of you may know, not all apps run at 90hz when the phone is set to do so. Which is good in cases such as watching movies or videos, which would only run at 60hz maximum, or using the camera... And whilst there is a way to force the entire phone to 90hz, that is very taxing on battery life, and simply unnecessary. This app allows you to set individual apps to 90hz, without root Just sharing for those who don't know about this already... Wish I knew about it sooner [link] [comments]
Where to buy Warp Charger in Australia? Posted: 09 Dec 2019 07:42 PM PST I've had my OnePlus 7t for a week or two and I love it! I'm looking to get another warp charger for work. What's the best way to get one in Australia? I tried one from AliExpress but it only supported standard charging speeds (I've asked for a refund - wish me luck). The one that came in the box is US so I don't mind using a travel adapter. [link] [comments]
