Posted: 09 Dec 2019 02:43 PM PST I have an older computer and had an issue that I read might be fixed with an upgraded graphics driver. I did the upgrade and everything went south. It took me a while of installing and uninstalling drivers, moving my USB hub to different ports and that's when my mouse range went to about a foot. I've been working around it, but what a pain. Finally fed up with it, I found a post here but the original OP has since deleted that account or something. The fix was so easy. Use an extender to get the receiver away from the hub, or computer if that's your issue. In that other post it shows a specific device, but if this is your issue too, then I would think that any small extender cable would do the trick. I had one lying around that is about two and a half feet long and now the mouse will work across the room. Here is a link to the original thread. [link] [comments] |
