| Posted: 28 Dec 2019 10:02 AM PST I decided I was due and upgrade over my dying Moto g5 which is starting to show it's last days. The battery is starting to drain quite quickly now and it's starting to lag when doing normal tasks. So I just ordered the silver op7t 8gb 128gb from their website. They have an offer on where you get free bullets wireless 2's when purchasing + I used the 5% student discount to bring the total sum to £521, what a great deal. This phone is an massive upgrade to my moto g5 in every single way possible,processor,screen,charging,build quality, speakers. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Since this is my first OnePlus device it would be greatly appreciated if other users could let me know any tips and tricks I can do to make this device perform its best. Now I have the 7t and any time I try to take a picture with the default app, it's really slow and if I move the phone minimally it gets blurry and looks terrible. I never had this issue with the 6t. I have all default settings and can't find anything in the camera that stops it from being so slow. Has anyone else run into this? Clicking the shutter it sometimes says "hold phone steady until picture takes". I don't need a super sharp picture, I'm not a professional, sometimes I want to snap something and move on! The only problem is that the panoramas on OnePlus are absolutely horrendous. They come out all crooked and don't seem to have any stabilisation or auto cropping to straighten them out. Personally I like the vibrant colour and the night scale left much to be desired on the default software(turned green lights into blue???) I tried looking through some video and blogs but I conflicted over the choices most of the one I have downloaded so far are rather buggy and doesn't suit me taste. My only concern is that the screen seems to be much more sensitive & easier to permanently scratch than my last phone. Tonight i noticed there is some sort of small "bubble" forming on the screen that changes shape when i press it. Since i purchased the phone i have noticed that around the screen there are these visible/ tangible edges, like a screen protector film is applied. | New One Plus 7 Pro fps / benchmark issues Posted: 28 Dec 2019 06:12 PM PST Having serious frame rate issues on games like Shadowverse and Pokemon GO. Ran a benchmark test and attached the results. Only scored better than 13% of all One Plus 7's, not even the Pros... Did I lose the silicon lottery? I've tried lowering resolution and refresh rate (which I shouldn't need to do, and didn't need to on my Razer phone), frames are spiking. It's not a continuous stretch of low frames, it's definitely spiking. Sorry for the rambling, any help is appreciated. Let me know of this is a lemon and I should return it/contact OnePlus support. I want to be able to periodically backup my Phone and transfer to PC. If Oneplus is best for this then I will just move the backup files to the PC manually and when I need to restore move them back manually. Posted: 28 Dec 2019 06:06 PM PST I have a brand new OnePlus 7t pro McLaren edition and am having issues with the mobile hotspot settings page. all of the text Input and checkboxes are blank when I try to edit them. it seems that what I'm putting in then goes through but am unable to view what they are currently set to or verify as I type. anyone else have this issue? I'm wondering if it's some weird bug related to having used my Google account to transfer data from my old phone to this one. I really don't want to factory reset my phone and send a few days setting it up from scratch as OnePlus support is suggesting, as it would be a huge hassle may not even fix the issue [link] [comments]  |
