Computer Techs Barcode Matching System |
Posted: 28 Dec 2019 07:13 PM PST Looking for a way to match some barcodes in my warehouse. Intention is to scan a target barcode (once, at the beginning) and then scan a bunch of other barcodes to match them with the target barcode. A small beep/green light if it matches, an alarm/red light if it doesn't. This is the only output I need - don't need to log the scanning data anywhere, or connect to a database, or pull anything from an existing file, or do any fancy analysis Has to use one (or multiple) barcode scanner devices that can connect to a phone/computer. Can be on Windows or Android (I did find a barcode comparer scanner app but that just uses the phone's inbuilt camera unfortunately). Any recommendations? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2019 04:14 PM PST This has probably been asked before but I am seriously considering getting a very subtle ring finger tattoo on each hand. Just to give some background I am in the military but also studying to be a computer engineer. These tattoos are okayed in the army but not sure about approval at potential jobs in my tech field. Any thoughts? [link] [comments] |
