What is happening with my laptop I just got (used)? It does this constantly when it’s plugged in, so it is definitely a charging issue, but would it be a computer problem or a cable problem?

Unable to change HTML permissions on Chrome after hitting "No" on prompt

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help with an issue my wife is having. She's learning to code and tried opening one of her HTML files in Chrome on her Macbook Pro and accidentally clicked no to the permissions prompt. Simple enough fix in the security settings in Chrome, but there was no option to change the permissions for a local document. Tried clicking on the Info button when the document opened up and there was no permissions options there like in many other online resources say to check. She can, however, open the document if she imports the document through Favorites in chrome, but that doesn't entirely fix the issue when she has to open files later on. Any ideas?

Edit: Also posted in the Discord.

Edit 2: She deleted her HTML document and started a new one and it's opening fine so far. She showed me on a separate browser that the prompt is the one that says "Do you want to allow this Browser to access file from your Desktop Folder", which she said no to. That sounds like a Mac issue and not Chrome. How would I change that?

1024 mbps wifi

Help i have 1 gigabyte wifi and when i do an xfinity speed test i get around 970 which is awesome compared to my old wifi and my modem if i was 1 floor up it would be around 15-20 feet away even though i run those tests in my room when im downloading stuff i usually get less than 10 mbps, i got the wifi yesterday but now im receving not even 50 mbps on the speed test can someone help please?

I have almmost 2k videos/songs on my likes playlist. I'm trying to search through some of it without have to scroll for 2 hours. I know there's script out there but I already tried one and couldn't figure it out.

Does anyone have a guide/tutorial for this?

low frames

all of a sudden frame rate when i play counter strike have dropped to 20-30. i used to be getting around 140. i tried resetting my computer, cleaning the gpu, reinstalling drivers, and re•downloading csgo. if nobody know what to do to fix this i'm just gunna get a 2080 tomorrow so i don't have to deal with fixing it

My ipad screen isnt working, help!

Okay, so this is an iPad air 3. Brand new, only about 2 months old. I use it to draw, so I have an apple pen as well. So today, I was just drawing like I usually do, and all of a sudden the screen goes black, but is still lit. It is not out of battery, and yes, I already tried to hard reset the device the apple symbol comes up for only a second before the screen goes black again. Also, sometimes if I turn it on with the power button, I can see my lock screen for just a second before it turns black.

I'm panicking and I dont know what to do, it was a gift to me and I dont want to have broken it. The screen is not cracked and I have never dropped it. If you can help, thank you so much

No boot no bios after reboot

Was working fine till I plugged in a USB mouse and PC froze, so forced a reboot and since then got no boot or bios with the 8pin GPU plugged, lights up fans spin but nothing on screen, and shuts down instantly when power button pressed, put in a old PCIe powered GPU and it boots fine, tested GPU in another build GPU is working fine, tried 2 different PSU's nothing and just can't figure out why it's not working, any thoughts?

Trying to diagnose corrupt video file

Basically I took an old computer of mine and retrieved all of the old data and video I had on it but the videos are corrupted. The files still appear but when selected they're either a green screen with weird audio or another color screen for the duration. Can anyone help?
