    New Ram

    Posted: 18 Dec 2019 10:11 AM PST

I bought new ram recently, Kingston 2x4GB, 2666Mhz. Before that, my computer was working on 2x4gb 2666 mhz, ballistix. I wanted to upgrade it to quad channel, but when I inserted new ram something went wrong. When I turned on computer, I still had only 8 GB of Ram, and computer was working slower. I got some stupid idea, and I pulled out all rams, and switched their places. Now my computer doesn't work, when I turn it on, fans are working and stuff, but after while PC turns off or still works, but my display says "no signal". Did I just broke my motherboard?

Desperately need help with this windows issue

    Posted: 17 Dec 2019 11:11 PM PST

Ok so ill try to shorten it as much as i can. theres a software that wasnt working on my pc and i downloaded a software for recovery (like a system restore software) and it didnt run like i wanted it to, no biggie. got it sorted out with tech support with the software that wasnt working. But then just after i got the software working, the software started running a disk check or something for lost files (i think, i dont remember if i started it or not) and i didnt want that because there was no use to it, so i ended the process in my task manager. Then, because i got the non-working software to work, i wanted to restart my pc for a fresh session. Boom, boot error. this one, to be exact: "c \recovery\windowsre\winre.wim\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt"

I tried everything i could, even a reset, wouldnt let me fix it. still a boot error every restart. couldnt get to the menu.

I promptly go into youtube to look for a fix, and sure enough theres videos, i watch the first one (teaching you commands to fix this problem in cmd in the boot process)

I do that, it seems to fix it. BUT HERE IS THE KICKER!

I start the pc. Everythings fine. Log in

boom...its literally like a clone of my computer back in 2018. (looked at the date, its september 2018 on windows)

All of the files on my c drive have white blank page icons on them, and none of my projects or anything are there.

(the drive in question also has about 250gb missing from when it used to be filled up normally)

Im stumped. i honestly have no clue how to fix this. Please, PLEASE, help me!

Monitors black out when closing tab with video in it or starting new video

    Posted: 17 Dec 2019 10:10 PM PST

    Please help me...

Every time a new video start (usually Netflix), both my monitors go black for a few seconds but the audio still works.

It happens when I exit out of the tab that has the video. I've tried using other browsers and the same issue still happens.

I've tried the whole going into NVIDIA to adjust the desktop color setting and it still happens

    Please help :(
