[DEV] Timer: Multi Timer. Highly Customizable Timers Designed To Be Quick And Easy To Use. Feedback Appreciated.

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 02:20 AM PST

Hello Reddit. Looking for some feedback on a multitimer app.

    Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foonapp.timer

It is ad-supported at the moment. Would a premium version with in-app purchases be better?

Any important features you think are missing?

Any tips for improving the app description so it's easier to search in Google Play?

If you like it please remember to leave a review in Play Store.

    Thank you very much.

    Grain on screen app

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 08:43 AM PST

I quite like the grainy effect of old photographs and filters. Is there an app that adds it on purpose ? Like a permanent grainy filter on my screen. I know of blue light filter apps and screen dimming apps so there should be one ? Thanks !

What is the best alternative Reddit app?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 09:10 AM PST

The official app is such utter garbage that I am looking for a replacement. My main issues are with video and image not loading after short connection drops. The website has no problems with it, but the official app cannot handle it. What is the best replacement?

[DEV] TickerIO - A minimalist clock app that displays the local/Zulu times and Julian Dates

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 08:33 AM PST

I wrote this app as a personal project, last year while deployed to the Middle East. It started to get complicated trying to figure out the Zulu time and Julian dates for where I was assigned. I made a goal while there, to learn what I can about mobile app development and it's grown into a hobby. It's available on the Google Play Store and Apple Store also. I would love to see this app grow beyond it's current function/look.

Right now it's super minimal, as a way to keep it small and user friendly. I recently rewrote it to allow system preference of Light/Dark mode. Constructive criticism and feedback is more than welcomed! TIA

Looking for app that properly organizes music/song title/artist etc

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 11:36 AM PST

Whenever I'm on my music app, name of the song is the raw file name ripped from YouTube. It's hard sometimes to properly identify certain songs. Any app that makes it easy to organize the song name, artist and album into its appropriate category? Preferably automatically? Thanks.

Any non-garbage app for USB capture card?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 07:45 AM PST

I have a cheap USB capture device, just Composite or S-Video. I bought it to use with a VHS camcorder so I wouldn't need to actually record to tape and then waste a 1:1 amount of time digitizing my footage when I got home to my WinTV card (and of course the ever present danger of running out of tape isn't nice either). It's DigitNow branded but it uses the same chipset as literally every Chinese capture stick ever so it's EZCap compatible.

The problem is, all the apps I've found for recording from USB are... well, they're total dogshit. I think the absolute highest I've seen any of them rated was 3.8 stars for a $6 paid version. The banner ad covers a fair chunk of the video, everything is badly Google Translated because Chinesium, the DISPLAY resolution can be set but the RECORD resolution defaults to 160x120 8-bit color which is downright useless and makes VHS quality look like 4k HDR, and I can't figure out how to change it. It's not the card, full resolution and color are supported plug-and-play in desktop VLC, but Android VLC doesn't seem to support capture devices at all. These are barely usable and are clearly intended for use with IP security cameras, they just HAPPEN TO SUPPORT USB.

Is there a USB camera/capture app out there that's not a steaming pile of crap? I know Chinese devs game the search algorithm so there's gotta be a gem buried under that mountain of Chinese shovelware.

[DEV] Card Chex - Do you play Yu-Gi-Oh/Magic the Gathering/Pokemon/Cardfight Vanguard? - I'm Looking for Testers & Suggestions!

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 10:10 AM PST

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Card_Chex

    Hi everyone!

I recently released my app Card Chex, which is an android app that lets you check multiple different websites to value your trading cards easily and a lot quicker than checking each site individually. The app also has life points calculators for duels and I'd love to add some more tools but I'm not sure what to add yet.

If you have any interest in any trading card games at all, I'd really appreciate it if you could have a look at my app and let me know what you think or suggest some other tools that would be helpful. I really want to make one app that provides everything you need for playing and trading.

Here's what's on the roadmap for the app in the next few updates:
    - Tools - links to forbidden cards lists & rules of the games
    - Some sort of a deck list maker
    - Bug fixes (obviously!)

If even one person tries the app and gives me their opinion that would really help.

    Thank you in advance!

    Any good live snowflake wallpapers?

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 09:27 PM PST

    Hi guys,

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I'm looking for a decent live wallpaper of just snow falling.

Right now I use one that's so old it's been delisted from the Play store. I've tried others from the store but they don't have the ability to put a custom background, just the defaults they provide.

I don't know if anyone can convert the new one for modern devices (I can still use it fine but I get a message saying it's not optimized, which obviously it isn't. It's from the galaxy s3 Era) or find one similar. I'd really appreciate it if you do stumble onto something.

    Have a great holiday!

Would an event[related to you] (also photo) sharing app interest you?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 09:50 AM PST

    Putting it simply:

I have a social network app on play store still like a MVP and here's how it works:

★ Create a text post about telling your event like going, watching, eating, doing etc... anything... ★ When you are done with your event... or forget that, when you want to show a picture of that event you simply complete that text post by that picture. ★You can use deadline to specify time for that event, if not attached with a photo in the duration, the post deletes itself.

I have a lot more to add into this but a honest "I want use it because" or "It is not for me because" paves my direction. An upvote for the former and downvote for the later will be nice too, I know most people will do that only but you're not like most people, are you?

Any good apps that comes with a true AMOLED dark mode?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 04:28 AM PST

For the past 6 or 7 years now, I have been using outdated Android 4.4.4 phones (And therefore stuck on a outdated version of Reddit), that definitely don't come with the added technologies of today's phones. I might get a new Samsung Galaxy A50 this Christmas, and that phone has a Super AMOLED screen. I'm wondering what apps besides Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, and Discord. Are there any other good dark mode apps?

    Nova Launcher Prime

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 07:27 AM PST

So I bought Nova Launcher Prime on sale a few years back but have been using Action Launcher more recently. I decided today that I would quite like to go back to Nova for a while, but Nova Prime is showing up with a £3.99 price tag in the play store. I'm using the same account, so what gives?

App that toggles between different DPI (Non Root)?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 04:25 AM PST

I'm using my device as a mirror on a monitor like a second PC, and each time I have to manually adjust the DPI setting in developper options and it's a bit tedious.

Any apps out there that would easily let me change values? It has to be for no non rooted devices

What is taking up all my space???

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 11:29 PM PST

My phone is pretty much out of space and I cant figure out exactly what and where all those files are located. I started to look through folders and found almost 2gb of old pictures stored in a super obscure location like Folder\43dsfdsf2435r3e4wfds\a1\fsdadasdfafsddas\asdfsafdsdfa\ probably saved there by some chat app or something. I also have thousands of files that apparently dont take up any data at all (and have no extension). These files could not be found by any of the regular samsung apps on my phone, I had to manually look through folders to find it.

Can someone please recommend an app that does a real deepscan of your phone and ALL its files folders so that I can find out where all my space has gone. If there are any freeware for windows that does the same thing when your phone is connected then that would be fine too. Thanks!!!
