Some Noodlecake Studios games on sale

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 06:19 PM PST

Hi, I have some Noodlecake's games on my wishlist and notice some of them are on sale right now. The sale ends in 7 days and is been the only time I have seen those games with discount...at least this year.

Absolute drift. Dead road to Canada. Getting over it.

Those are the games with discount.

5 Awesome New Indie Games No One's Playing

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 11:38 PM PST

I play a lot of indie games and there have been a few especially exceptional games released recently that I would like to highlight for everyone's enjoyment.

    Bubble Tale

This polished 16-bit style platformer has players jumping on enemies heads and blowing bubbles to reach hidden areas. Nice level design and reminds me of something like you'd see out of Nitrome.

    Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.banhca.bubble

    Impressions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EE8TSxGRJHs

    FlickADrink

A novel cross between Tapper, light gun games, and tycoon games FlickADrink is one of the reasons I made this post. Despite having made a game that lots of people should be genuinely enjoying it seems the developer has gotten discouraged and posted a goodbye to development on their site.

    Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.VanilleGames.DrinkFlick

    Impressions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbXsC90tgz8&t=24s

    Gravibeat

I love Geometry Wars style games and the many varied takes on the genre that have popped up on Android over the years. Gravibeat is a really slick "reverse" Geometry Wars where players must both dodge enemies and use their inertia to make them slam into one another.

    Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.FRAMEBREAK.gravibeat

    Impressions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGWnxfTKsBI

    Kazarma

While at first glance the minimalist graphics might give the impression of a simpler game it only takes a minute or two to see that Kazarma is an intense 3D shooter with a surprising amount of intricacy to its enemies and track based level designs.

    Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.legalradiation.kazarma

    Impressions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaRBcFaQmxI

    Super Pepe

This 3rd person arcade shooter comes from Spanish developer Galvez Games who say it has been inspired by classic arcade games like Cabal and Blood Bros. The different enemies and bosses players encounter are pretty inventive while the point based upgrade system provides a lot of replay value.

    Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=es.galvezgames.superpepe

    Impressions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYqbzUsIZAU

Thanks for reading, hope you found something new to play!

[DEV] Looking for testers for upcoming open world survival game

    *update*

It was a bit of a rocky start but managed to get quite a few people testing the game tonight! We identified some common crashes and a few key bugs that I would like to iron out before pushing the game out to anyone else. If you did send me a message I will reply once the new build is ready to go!

Thanks for all the support so far!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hiya,

I have been developing 'Surviving Titan' few years now and finally feel like I am at a stage where I can start testing it and getting feedback. The game is in a really tender stage at the moment so I will be making changes directly based on your feedback.

If you would be interested in giving it a try please join the discord channel or PM me on Reddit. I would love for some of you to try it out.

    Discord - https://discord.gg/rcxgECb

    More information -> https://www.indiedb.com/games/surviving-titan

Here is a short blurb about the game -

You crash land on the planet Titan, suffering from amnesia and with the ships scanners unable to detect any signs of civilization you begin the task of exploring the planet looking for any signs of intelligent life. You are accompanied by a survival droid, standard issue for any escape pod. Their job is to keep you alive.

The game features a completely randomly generated open world to explore, with 7 core biomes that piece it together. Each biome has it's own unique landscape, resources and inhabitants (friendly or otherwise). Some crafting recipes require item's that can only be gathered from specific biomes so exploration is key.

There is any game similar to pathfinder adventures? One that occupies less space in the memory? I don't have the necessary space and it's seems that the game was abandoned. (also, i have moto e second generation but for some reason i can't use the space in the SD card)

    Hi y'all,

I recently downloaded Stardew Valley and I've noticed the game doesn't fit the entirety of the screen. While it may not really be a big deal, I don't want it cause any screen burn if I end up playing the game for extended periods of time. Is there anything I can do to change this?

I appreciate any and all help y'all can give me!

Does Early Access Scare You Away From a Game?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 08:11 PM PST

Hi, I'm a solo dev working on a card game which is currently in early access.

When it comes to PC development, and in particular games releasing on Steam, you hear frequent stories of teams releasing on Early Access, building an audience and even some revenue there, and using that momentum to finish the game.

I was hoping to do likewise through Google Play, but I'm having at time gaining any kind of traction. So I'm wondering if using early access releases in the manner I described is purely PC culture.

Do you seek out games in early access in the Play store? Have you ever supported an early access game with an in-app purchase? Or do you make a mental note of a game in early access to wait until it's released before downloading it?

Just hoping I'm not barking up trees, wrong or otherwise.

    Thanks.

Xbox and PS4 controller mapping issues with otg cable.

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 07:07 PM PST

So I just bought an otg adapter and I'm having a problem with the controls. This happens with both the Xbox One S controller and PS4 controller. I've tried a few different games and I'm getting the same result with all of them, those games being Modern Combat 5, GTA SA and KOTOR.

The problem being - The right analog stick does nothing, and and the triggers/L2/R2 buttons control the camera.

My Xbox One controller lags when using bluetooth so I decided to try a wired option, bought an otg adapter and now I've run into this. Anything I could do without wasting more money? I just bought this phone a few weeks ago and It's so frustrating. I just want to play some games with a controller.

    Any help would be appreciated.

[REQUEST]Trying to remember a very specific rpg-puzzle game

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 07:46 AM PST

There was this Japanese/Chinese developer, which seemed to use msPaint level art, shared across their apps. Their apps are usually classic rpg themed. I remember seeing classes like warrior, priest, red mage, blue mage, and some offshoots like samurai and more(don't remember the rest). Their english translations are very limited to mediocre at best, and I remember that their menus were still in caligraphy (either chinese or japanese. Definitely bot Korean or Arabic)

    • Warriors are mainly red in color scheme

    • Priests are green

    • Red mage/Blue mage: as it says on the can

    • Samurai: Pink

Now, here's the gameplay of the specific game that I'm looking for In the beginning, you pick 4 classes. You will be presented with a 4 by 4 grid filled from randomized classes of your picked party. The grid is on your left and your enemy party is on the right. Each enemy has its own hp bar and you can choose which one to attack. If you focus down on that enemy, damage won't flow to other enemies even uf you kill them.

You choose a row of 4, column of 4, or diagonal line of 1, 2, 3 or 4 depending on where you start the line. Depending on the combination of classes on that specific line, the actions and effectiveness of your action will change. After chosen, each hero would do their action and be removed from the grid. The grid shifts right and new heroes are generated from the left.

Warrior and samurai hit hard but for solo target. Mages doesn't hit as hard, but can hit all enemies. Priests recover hp.

In the beginning, the bonuses(multipliers) are a pair of 2, group of 3, group of 4, and all different party members which gives 2x, 3x, and iirc 4x for the last 2. The kicker is that each bonus stacks multiplicatively with each other, so a line of 4 warriors would proc many 2x bonuses, a 3x, and a 4x, resulting in something damage numbers in the hundreds

Once you have matched a number of that class, you can unlock a new multiplier. These new multipliers are based on the party classes. So if you had a warrior and priest, you would get a chance to get the warrior and priest combo (which procs if you match a warrior and a priest) and may grant you certain buffs, like block or 2x damage next turn.

After a gameover, you can use colored gems you get from your adventure as well as gold(iirc) to level up your heroes. Levelling up heroes unlocks slots for multipliers, or when levelled enough even increases base damage drom 1 damage into 2... Which with the multipliers basically doubles your damage output.

Aaaagh I'm tearing out my hair looking...

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 08:41 AM PST

Hi Guys n Gals, I'm wondering if someone can help me with the name of a cool MMO where you kill monsters that drop cards that can enhance your character with (also cards that have monsters you can have as your pet?) .I think you had the choice of a warrior, mage (and another I forget). It had a openworld type feel. I think the app logo was white and green with maybe a clover leaf?? Normal monsters and also story bosses that had multiple sections to them (attack, then go to the side to avoid its magic.) It was showing in the store a few months ago. Can anyone help please... Thanks
