Turn-based strategy game: Civ Rev 2, Worms 2, or This is the Police? Other suggestions would be great!

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 06:36 PM PST

I'm itching to get a turn-based strategy game on my phone. Saw the above on sale for I think Black Friday Deals.

Some of my favorite turn-based ones are: Pokemon TCG, Devil Survivor, Invisible Inc, Slay the Spire (the best!) and Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle (gotta love the lightheartedness!). I also have Civ 6 on my iPad.

I have a love/hate relationship witb Civ (and consequently Battle of Polytopia actually) since they're so much time eaters. With 4X really haha, same could be said for Stellaris.

I already have the ff. on my phone: - Hoplite (is great! But the challenges after the main game is a bit off for me since it seems to be just memorization. I love this roguelite) - Battle of Polytopia (is ok haha) - Ticket to Ride (this is so much heart <3) - Card Crawl (same problem as Hoplite but also great)

I favor easy to get into but still strategic games. I don't really have that much time haha.

I didn't list X-COM even if it's also on sale, since the graphics/concept are too harsh for me or I don't like realistic creepy/violence.

Thanks in advance to anyone who'll reply! :D

[REQUEST] Game like Wordscapes, but for young kids?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 06:29 PM PST

I've searched and searched, but am coming up empty. Do you know of a game like Wordscapes but is for young kids? Ideally it focuses on words 4 letters or less, but has similar mechanics.

This is meant to be for Amazon tablets, but if it's not available on the Amazon app store, I can happily sideload it from the Play store. Also happy to pay for an ad-free and quality version.

Any suggestions and recommendations to keep our 4 and 5 yr olds trying to spell words would be extremely welcome!

Pretty sure I can't take advantage of the sale on the full version of Grimvalor because I'm currently using a free trial of Play Pass

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 09:52 PM PST

This is pretty annoying. Any way around this?

    A question Grimvalor

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 03:09 AM PST

Grimvalor is on sale right now, and I have a question to ask. How does end game looks like? Like after finishing the story, are there any things to do (like collecting equipment or killing secret bosses)?

Research on microtransactions and their impact on games

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 03:26 PM PST

Hi! I'm researching microtransactions and their impact on games. I've made a pretty quick questionnaire (5 minutes +/-) and I was hoping a few of you would be interested in taking it. It is completely anonymous. I greatly appreciate all answers!I'm trying to map out how many people actually use microtransactions and get a general overview of peoples' attitude towards them.

The questionnaire is made with Google Forms and this is the link to it: https://forms.gle/DxFSVMzXmqg7EAwT9

What's the state of Duel Heroes CCG?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 07:09 AM PST

I tried Duel Heroes CCG game and not sure if it's one of money grab games or it can be played as free to play.

Is anyone playing this game or have any info on it's state once you spend some time playing? Strange that I couldn't find any info about this game on Reddit.

Whatever happened to Earth and Legend?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 04:46 AM PST

Back in my Android Gingerbread days, there used to be this game called Earth and Legend by DVide Arts on the play store. It was an open world-ish (though still linear) full 3D RPG, and it rocked. I remember pirating it many years ago, and now that I had the money I wanted to buy it, but I noticed it wasn't on the play store.

Thing is... It's the ONLY app by DVide Games that isn't on the play store. Both their earlier and later games are still there. Does anyone know why only E&L was removed? I'm a bit bummed, I wanted to relive some memories. :(

When are these games getting released?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 10:33 AM PST

Why do koreans not like to release their games for global?

BDM - from 2016 till now, finally getting released 11 dec.

Tera M - Korean version available long ago but no global. Now they even teased tera classic and tera origins? When tera m global isnt even a thing.

Bless mobile? Blade and soul revolution? Lineage eternal? Project TL? Diablo immortal? AIR?

L2R is still the best mmo as of now but i'm hoping bdm will change that.

Screen trigger type controller for an 8-inch tablet?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 06:11 AM PST

    Hey r/AndroidGaming

I've recently discovered these types of game controllers (https://amzn.to/2L74rHR), the ones that have little mechanical triggers that let you press onscreen buttons for a no-Bluetooth, still wireless, gameplay experience.

Sadly those i can find seem to be speced out for up to 6.5inch phones.... I use an 8-inch tablet for android gaming (specifically a p80x). Anyone know of one that would fit?

    Bleeding Heroes, title in development...

    Posted: 30 Nov 2019 09:44 AM PST

Hi guys, here you can see footage from game Bleeding Heroes Im currently developing...

It has some cool mechanics like being able to lock aim to nearest enemy but when you drag on screen you can aim manually, enemies have % chance to drop items like HP potions and weapons and the defining feature is that when you attack then you lose health and even your abilities have health cost to use them :)

Im planning to add different weapon rarity, more types of enemies and at least three character classes :)

Do you like what you see ?

please let me know your impressions :)

P.S.: please be aware its very early build :)
