    Any Google podcast users here willing to leave feedback to bring dark mode to the Google podcast app? Not sure if this actually works but I'm actually a fan of the app, and really want dark mode. I finally ditched pocketcasts and all I'm missing is night mode.

    Pro tip: in Play Store you can type "pub:" then a developer name to show all the apps published by that developer

    How to change the date format in Google search results on bromite?

    I recently got rid of chrome on my phone and started using bromite. For all Google search results the dates are showing in hijiri format. I don't follow this format and I have had this issue in the past on chrome. Somehow I did fix it back then but I just can't find the solution this time. I have already tried googling but haven't found the solution yet. I want the regular Gregorian format...

    Why is port 80 being blocked?

    I recently learned from StackOverflow that android without root don't allow use of port 80. Why is that? Why you can't run website on Android (without the use of atypical ports)?

    EDIT: I have a little android box (Minix neo). I don't have much use for it, so I tried writing a simple app to use as a server. I know I can use http on different ports (i. e. 8080 is being used) but I wanted to not have to insert port number in adress.

    Half green image taken in 2nd camera apps

    Hey, i have a little issue. When i take a photo in 2nd camera apps (dunno how to call them) the photo is half covered with bright green colour...

    This is only happening in "2nd" photo apps like document scanner, QR scanner and photomath. In stock camera app the photo is clear. I should mention that i have custom rom (Pixel Experience on Xiaomi Redmi 5 plus)

    So is there aby other solution then stop using those or get back to original rom ?

    Any apps to improve the share menu?

    Using a pixel 3a, and the built on share menu is easily the worst part of the phone.

    Anything I share it's first suggestion is to share via sms with eight randomly chosen contacts.

    At least my previous phone remembered Which apps I used most often and let me pin things in the share menu.

    I used to have one called something like andmade, but that's vanished a while ago, I suspect no longer compatible or allowed.

    Is this something that it's possible to change anymore? I don't mind going off the play store but it'd be good to get a personal recommendation.

    MS Paint like app?

    I'm looking for an MS Paint like app, as I recently started making pixel art of vehicles, and would like to continue doing so as it'll be a while before I have access to a pc with it again. Among the whole pixel art but, it has to be able to load pre existing pixel art jpgs, etc for editing, like in MS Paint. Thanks in advance.

    Returning iOS user looking for the cream of the crop

    Returning back to android after a few years on the other side. iOS app selection was easier because the ecosystem had it standout apps that could be counted on the perform at professional levels. Work has forced me to return to Windows, specifically a Surface Book 2 and I so dearly miss texting from my laptop. The Android phone I went with was a Note 10.

    So what are those apps for business and daily life that are the best of the best. I don't care what the price, I am looking for the cream of the crop in the following general categories:

    • Email with exchange support and outlook cal support
    • PDF editing with SPen support and allows OneDrive syncing
    • News and Traffic app(s) with localized alerts (I work in transportation)
    • Texting app that allows conversion pinning for groups and works with texting app on Windows
    • Document scanning with page size recognition and OneDrive sync

    Also any other apps that might help with the transition and with running a business.

    As I said in the title, I'm looking for an app where I can download the series episodes quickly before I leave the house. What I'm talking about is like netflix's download feature.

    I believe you can give me a few application suggestions, thank you!

    Edit:thanks to DontPmMeHentai, I figured out best way for me. I thought it would be difficult to find a torrent on mobile, but thanks to the app 'TorrSe', I can easily find every torrent I'm looking for. Once I find it, I quickly download it with a very simple and functional torrent client called 'Flud'. When the download is complete, I download my subtitle with one click using 'mx player pro' and watch my content.

    I'm looking for a free launcher that can hide app from drawer but allow to find it. Like Nova, I can hide f.i. Telegram from app drawer (list) but if I type in drawer search "Telegram" (actually "Teleg" suffices) I can open it.
