| Posted: 29 Sep 2019 07:25 AM PDT DISCLAIMER: I am posting for a buddy who doesn't have a Reddit account. Omg I'm so mad. About less than a year ago I bought a unlocked note 9 paid in full. I have taken extra effort to keep it clean and in good shape. The phone fell over while on a video call and the glass cracked on the lip of my pool. I sent it in for repair and when I got it back it seems like they swapped out my hardware and replaced it with a subpar generic device. So much shit is different and is low quality. Has any one heard of this before? Can any one help me compair specs with the original device. So I found the Samsung Music app and I'm just not impressed. It's difficult or impossible to organize it well and there's not a lot of functionality. What's a good alternative? | galaxy watch active 2 battery info Posted: 28 Sep 2019 07:22 PM PDT so many people have been asking about the battery life for the galaxy watch active 2. so ill share what ive got so far. i have the 40mm cloud silver aluminum version. the galaxy wearable app does give you the battery % and an estimated remaining time left on that battery. so thats nice and helpful. i charged my watch friday. (charged fully at noon yesterday). so it has been 34 hours currently and the app says about another 19 hours remaining. so just short of 2.5 days on a charge. i have the HR monitor turned to manual. i take it about once a day. the brightness is turned down to 3. i have only 8 apps to notify me on my watch... things like messages, calls, samsung health and alarm. i let it monitor my sleep. it turns to do not disturb mode during the night (syncs with my phone). it is connected to my phone via bluetooth. i have used it to respond to some text messages. i have been walking so it does also track that and keep me posted of the time. i also do take it off when i get ready in the morning so its not being used then. so far ive been super impressed and happy with the purchase! | How to stop keyboard app from requesting access to my contacts Posted: 29 Sep 2019 05:24 AM PDT Just got myself a Galaxy S10 the other day and like it a lot so far. The one most annoying thing though is that every single time the (default Samsung) keyboard gets shown, the app asks for access to my contacts which I do not want to give. This app does not show up in settings, so there is no obvious way to deny that request once and for all. How do I stop this annoying crap? [link] [comments]  | ||

The included S-Pen seems to be quite small and therefore (probably) not comfortable to use all day long. I was wondering if I could just buy a bigger one off amazon and use that.
