OnePlus TV doesn't have Netflix Posted: 28 Sep 2019 03:43 AM PDT OnePlus launched their TV in India along with OP 7T and it lloks like the TV doesn't have the Netflix app. Technically, we don't need it as, a gaming consoles le or a streaming device will sort this out but can someone from India confirm this? Netflix has this weird way of supporting any device, they need to approve a particular device which includes how they stream and even how they cast from device to device. Also, am I the only one who doesn't want apps on my TV as can be nsoles and streaming devices do a better job of it. [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Sep 2019 12:09 PM PDT At the moment I'm looking at buying a new phone and I'm leaning towards Oneplus 7 or 7t (depending on the price). I was wondering what made you choose Oneplus? And would you choose it if for instance a Samsung costs as much? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Android Auto changing theme in Android 10 Posted: 28 Sep 2019 10:31 AM PDT Just upgraded to Android 10 on my OP7P. Noticed that whenever I launch Android Auto and the close it, my theme changes from dark to light. I have to go to settings to reset it and it's a pain. Anyone else have this issue or know if there's a setting to disable automatic theme switching? [link] [comments]
Non-root camera app with access to all lenses on the 7 Pro? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 11:35 AM PDT Does such a thing exist? I got pretty annoyed with the shutter delay on the default app and would use the gcam port but it doesn't seem to be worth it unless you're rooting, and I don't want to get stuff all fucky with widevine or have to change all my preferences back after rooting. OnePlus 3T painfully slow 4G data speeds on Softbank. Am I doing something wrong? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 04:24 PM PDT I recienly moved to Tokyo and signed up for. mobile plan with Softbank using my North American OnePlus 3T. However my data speeds are pretty terrible, varying from just a few Mbps down to about 35 while connected to 4G. I've had friends speedtest run the speedtest from the same location (same network, different phones) and they are getting speeds in the 80-120 range. I've reset the APN settings a zillion times, and I can't seem to figure out the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? [link] [comments]
OnePlus 6T - No vibration for notifications? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 04:52 PM PDT There's not an option in the settings that allows me to enable vibration in silent mode. Anyone knows how to enable vibration while on silent mode? Thanks [link] [comments]

No more digital zoom with the front camera since OxygenOS 10 Posted: 28 Sep 2019 05:37 AM PDT So since the upgrade to Android/OxygenOS 10 on the 7 Pro, and the camera changes that came with it, we can no longer zoom with the front facing camera. It now says "Unable to pinch zoom while using the front camera" Why? I used this fairly frequently. Why remove digital zoom from the front camera? I can't see any reason for this, so it's very disappointing. [link] [comments]
Anyone have Issues with Casting post-Android 10? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 07:27 PM PDT I can no longer cast via chromecastor use my LG remote app after Android 10. Upon trying, whatever app I'm using just crashes. [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Sep 2019 07:26 PM PDT I recently watched a YouTube video where a guy discussed screen burn in with OLED panels. Basically it occurs when pixels in the phone start to fade and it leaves a faded area where static images are present, for example menu bars or Google keyboard, etc... So I've had my OP7 Pro for almost 2 months now, and it also having an OLED panel I thought this might be a problem with my screen considering I heavily use my phone in daylight conditions, commuting, and at home. On any given day I have somewhere between 6-8 hours of SCREEN ON TIME, to sometimes upwards of 10 hours. I just pulled up a white page and low and behold I have minor amounts of screen burn on the status bar where the wifi icon, battery icon, and clock are. Specifically, I had the VoLTE icon on and there's now a tiny rectangle where it appears, that being the most notable case of screen burn on the device. It's kind of disconcerting that I've only had my phone for 2 months and I'm already seeing the signs of screen burn, which should supposedly take years. I don't know about you guys, but I like keeping my phone for a long time, so I guess that means I'm looking at a screen replacement down the road. If I'm already seeing the effects of this in 2 months, in 2 years it's probably going to be a major issue. You're supposed to be able to reduce the onset of screen burn in by enabling adaptive brightness, avoiding static interfaces and images, and lowering your average brightness, but with something as essential as the status bar and my usage of the phone it's almost impossible. I already know I'll need an eventual battery replacement (given my heavy usage), and according to OP website, that costs $11 for the part. If I'm going to have to send it in anyways, I may as well get the screen done also ($165). What have been your experiences getting parts replaced? As far as the cost, turn around time, etc... I've heard horror stories of people sending in devices and having terrible issues, so I'd like to know if I should send it to OP for repair down the road, or something 3rd party? TLDR: Screen Burn in issue after only 2 months Screen replacement options for future reference? [link] [comments]
Why are Oneplus cameras noticably worse than the flagships? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 06:57 PM PDT I know it has something to do with software. I honestly didn'texpect it to be so bad until I actually looked at examples compared to flagship photos. [link] [comments]

PSA: Google Assistant broken? I found a fix! Posted: 28 Sep 2019 06:35 AM PDT I've seen a couple of posts on the sub about a recent Google app update breaking assistant entirely. I'm happy to say I've found a solution. Went on APK Mirror this morning and installed the newest version app and it's good to go! Download here, and good luck! [link] [comments]
Help with unlocking the bootloader on a OnePlus 7 Pro T-Mobile variant Posted: 28 Sep 2019 08:25 AM PDT Before I start, I'm decently "tech savvy", I just switched to an iPhone a few years ago and am just now coming back to Android so I kind of forgot how to do most of this stuff. I'm just wondering if I can unlock the bootloader and change it to international (for the updates and stuff) on the T-Mobile variant and still use my 4G LTE perfectly fine and watch Netflix and stuff (I read something about unlocked bootloaders not being able to have the netflix app with an unlocked bootloader) can someone just fill me on on the risks/harms of this before i make a mistake :P [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Sep 2019 06:00 PM PDT Currently thinking about getting a Oneplus 7T, however I am unaware if it'll work on Verizon, I contacted Verizon and Oneplus and neither gave me any helpful information. I noticed Verizon carries some Oneplus products on their site so I assume they work, but any confirmation would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]

OnePlus 7 Pro - "Plugged in, can't charge right now" on Android 10 Posted: 28 Sep 2019 05:45 PM PDT This started happening yesterday night for me, I'm able to charge my phone initially after a reboot but after carrying it around and using it for a bit my phone won't charge when plugged in to anything. The battery won't go down at all, it just won't increase either. I usually charge with this wall charger and this power bank and up until last night they've worked as intended. Recently I got one of these wall chargers to charge my laptop and it worked fine with my 7Pro. When plugged in, I have a charging symbol over the battery in the top right corner and in the battery settings my phone will recognize that it's plugged in but (as the title says) it says "Plugged in, can't charge right now" and ampere says something similar. When I boot into safe mode, my phone temporarily displays the same message in the battery settings then quickly changes over to just saying "Charging." Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so is there a solution besides just rebooting my phone whenever I want to charge it? Thanks. [link] [comments]

Recovering data with broken screen Posted: 28 Sep 2019 05:17 PM PDT Hi. A friend of mine broke his oneplus 6t screen and now the screen is black. The phone turns on because when you move the slider, the phone vibrates. How can he recover all the data and files from his phone? [link] [comments]
