[Dev] SimpleMMO - A lightweight, text-based MMORPG Posted: 29 Sep 2019 05:11 AM PDT Hello! I am the developer of SimpleMMO. It is a light-weight, text-based MMORPG that aims to be extremely simple and revive the old text-based MMORPG genre. I've been a big fan of text-based MMORPG games since I was just a small child playing the old classics like Torn, SoulRaider, BoringRPG, Boredest, Monocounty, Mafia Wars, PhantasyRPG etc but there has been a very noticeable decline in the simple text-based game genre and an increase in heavy, graphical games that are just completely unnecessary. I looked everywhere on the store for a game that would scratch my "Text-based MMORPG" itch but there was nothing available. Everything was either P2W garbage with a heavy, clunky user interface or it was extremely outdated. I decided to take the task upon myself to create my own. At the start of 2018, I managed to come up with my creation and release it to the store. Almost 2+ years later, the game has grown from a very small community of a handful of players, to a daily play rate of 1,000 players. The community is what really makes the game shine. Here are some features - - PV︎P If you want to check it out, you can view the listing page here - We also have our own subreddit so feel free to come and say hi! If you download it, I hope that you enjoy it and if you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to throw them my way. I listen to any and all feedback. [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Sep 2019 08:02 PM PDT I have been checking for this game from time to time and saw that it was in testing/beta recently. So I decided to see if I could hop in on the action. Went to google play and it is nowhere to be found. Hope on google did a quick search, found a google play link for the game. Tried the link and just get an "item not found" message. Was the game cancelled? There is no information on what's going on with it anywhere [link] [comments]

[REQUEST] Does a game like this exist? Posted: 29 Sep 2019 04:57 PM PDT My favourite type of games are ones where you collect items and craft with them. Whether it's cooking, building, whatever. Is there a good game for Android that incorporates this mechanic well? Thanks! [link] [comments]

[DEV] Space Adventure. Our first game Posted: 29 Sep 2019 11:20 AM PDT Hello! A few days ago me and my friends uploaded our first game on Google play. You play with a little rocket with the quest of reaching Pluto. It started out as an endless runner but we added a few challenges along the way, making it more entertaining as you get closer to the goal. Each planet represents a checkpoint. Most of the sounds and music were made by us. If you would like to check it out, here is a link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ShookarStudios.SpaceAdventureQuesttoPluto We would greatly appreciate any kind of feedback and/or things that we can change. Have a great day! [link] [comments]
Is it possible to install a Android emulator on Android ? Posted: 29 Sep 2019 10:21 AM PDT I need a older Android version to play a old game, is it feasible on Android ? Many thanks !! [link] [comments]
Why do pay for content games exist? Posted: 29 Sep 2019 09:09 PM PDT From what we've seen in the past. 99% of popular apps have been free to play and does not require money to unlock a piece of content. Yet, why do some developers still stick to making their games pay2win? They could easily get more player base by making everything free and receive funding through cosmetics and boosters. Why do developers do this? [link] [comments]
[REQUEST] Looking for a specific type of match 3 game Posted: 28 Sep 2019 11:22 PM PDT I'm trying to find a new match 3 game to play but I can't seem to find the right one. Simply stated, I want a game that has the simplicity of Bejeweled (a focus on getting points rather than gimmicks) mixed with the progression of Candy Crush. Here's a list of what I want/don't want: Want for sure: -Simple gameplay (preferably no complicated mechanics like in Candy Crush) -Progression (Levels) -Fairly relaxing Preferred but not required: -No lives -Minimal ads (I don't mind ads that much in mobile games but I don't want to be bombarded with them) -Free to play Do not want: -Excessive microtransactions -Complicated mechanics -Timed levels -No sense of progression (Bejeweled on Android is a little too arcade-like) [link] [comments]

[Play Pass] Is there a place to see when games are added to Play Pass? Posted: 29 Sep 2019 09:41 AM PDT I got PP day 1, went through all the categories, and downloaded what I wanted. I was underwhelmed, but still downloaded about $30 worth of games (including IAPs). Maybe more than $30 depending how much each Marvel Pinball table originally cost. Two of the games I downloaded were Reigns and Reigns Her Majesty. I remember being a little upset Reigns GOT wasn't available on PP. A few days later Reigns Got and several more games start showing up in recommended, but still were not in the categories. Some have started showing up in categories, but Reigns GOT is still not in one. Is there a way to look through all PP games or find out when new ones are added? [link] [comments]

[Request] Offline Action game / game without cooldowns for traveling Posted: 29 Sep 2019 12:40 AM PDT Heya! As the title suggests, I am looking for some game that has no cooldowns or waiting times that can be played offline and can keep me entertained for ~8-10h. On Thursday I am traveling and I will be on a plane, train and ferry so I have some time to waste and I am not sure what I can play during that time. I am open to all suggestions! Only requirements: It has to be playable on a Mate 30 Lite - so nothing that is meant for big screens like tablet and it needs to be offline playable. [link] [comments]
