| Posted: 29 Aug 2019 05:42 PM PDT Hey, so i have been using the mi 9 for a month now, phone is great but i only have one problem, i cant change the lock screen wallpaper with 3rd party apps. None of them work, i tried googles own wallpaper app, u click apply to home & lock screen but it only applies to the home screen. I am not really sure what to do anymore, perhaps someone knows something here that can help me? Any help would be appreciated :) [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 29 Aug 2019 01:59 PM PDT I have recently bought the Redmi Note 7 (4/64 GB version).Everything seemed to be working good,untill i tried the Slow motion video.The video is not even bearable to watch.I have tried the official pre installed camera,also Google Camera and some other apps I found on the Play Store.All of them had the same result.I have the latest firmware installed (MI UI 10.3.5.0 Global) and also did some benchmarks on my phone and the results was good as it is supposed to be on this phone.I can post more details if needed in the comments,also i have sent a report to Xiaomi.Does anyone else have or had this problem? | Mi Mix 3 Wireless Charging and Battery Issues Posted: 29 Aug 2019 08:32 PM PDT I plugged my Mi Mix 3 into the wireless charging pad using the original cable and adapter while moving files from my phone to a hard drive plugged in via OTG. Although it was "charging" and even had the lightning bolt icon next to the percentage to indicate quick charge, it was going down 1% per minute. Completely ridiculous. Another issue is how quickly it dies. I'll keep it plugged in overnight, and only unplug it right when I leave the house to go to work, and it'll be almost dead by the time I get home, even though I don't use it that much. At the same time, my friend has a really cheap phone, and his can last all work no problem, with constant use. This battery isn't quite that small, so it shouldn't be this way. I either have to sacrifice my notifications for battery, or sacrifice my battery to make sure I receive text messages on time. Haven't even had this phone a year yet, and I'm quite disappointed. | Xiaomi Mi 9 China/Global Variant Unlock Bootloader Question Posted: 29 Aug 2019 07:32 PM PDT I am about to buy a Xiaomi Mi 9 and I plan on using it in the USA on the ATT network. From what I'm seeing, the 8GB version of the phone is only available for the China variant. Will I be able to unlock the bootloader on the China variant so that I can flash custom ROMs? Also, does anyone foresee any issues I might have using the China variant in the USA? I have a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 (Global) right now and everything works perfectly. I just want to make sure the China variant is going to work okay for me and what I want to do. Thanks for your help. PS - What's going to be the cheapest place to get a Mi 9? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 29 Aug 2019 06:02 PM PDT Hi there, as you can tell from the title, I've managed to brick my k20 somehow, I unlocked bootloader, flashed twrp, then flashed Xiaomi EU ROM, however for some reason it's bricked it and will only boot to fastboot, where can I find a fastboot ROM to restore the phone with? I found one version 10.3.6 but it said antirollback error on miflash tool. Edit. I can't even get the phone to turn off so not sure what to do now [link] [comments]  | ||

But with recent announcement of Redmi note 8, and the fact that PRO version is cheaper than MiA3, im thinking of refunding this one. | Posted: 29 Aug 2019 05:12 PM PDT I'm very disappointed of my air purifier (mi2s) that after only 3 months the sensor decided to stop working and keeps showing values between 001 and 009. For as much as I would love to have that quality of air in my bedroom, it is clearly not working properly if I compare it to the previous months. Do you guys know of any idea if it's possible to reset it / fix it? I know the sensor is cheap and kinda bad, that's why I never let it run on auto but I manually set the speed of the fan that I want but having the sensor giving you a rough indication of the quality is useful. | Posted: 29 Aug 2019 01:31 AM PDT So guys I'm pleased with the announcement, the phone price is spot on, everything is great, minus the camera photo results seems lackluster from youtube review also no UFS memory, nevertheless the design is great, nfc is a great addition and G90T looks like powerhouse contender for my emulator use. Also I hope you guys don't expect super amoled for phone in this price range, or else some features needs to be sacrificed. The phone suddenly stopped charging, at first I thought it was the charger, but then I restarted the phone while plugged in to the wall and it started charging again, I unplugged the cable and then immediately plugged back in, the phone wouldn't charge again, so I have to restart it with the cable plugged in so it can charge. Also, the phone showed 35% of battery before the restart, bit it went up to 85% after restarting. Has anyone faced this kind of issue again? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]  | ||

My phone's power button isn't functioning well, it doesn't respond when I hold+press to power off or reboot, just opens up to lockscreen and that's it.
