So far I'm down to these options: Mi Play Mi A2 Lite Redmi S2 Redmi 7 I don't game a lot on my phone; mostly what I want is something sturdy that runs well as a daily driver and has a nice camera. I think I lean more towards the A2 Lite simply because of its larger battery capacity, but what do you think? My PC recognizes the device just fine, and in the device manager all drivers seem up to date. However, when I enter into the designated folder on my PC, it only says that "This folder is empty". I've been trying different USB cables but it doesn't help. I even tried solutions that I found online like USB debugging, but that didn't seem to help either as when I enable it my PC refuses to recognize my phone at all until I disable it again. I made sure to unlock my screen, but that didn't make any difference. This is urgent for me and I appreciate any help on this, thanks. [link] [comments]  | ||

I'm using the issued charger, but I've heard that I soulmate m shouldn't charge my battery to 100 but should instead unplug at around 80-90%. Should I do this? I unlocked my phone using the official miunlock from here https://en.miui.com/unlock/ Then I flashed twrp from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/development/unofficial-twrp-k20-mi9t-xiaomi-miui-gr-t3951348 Then I installed the ROM from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/how-to/rom-miui-10-xiaomi-eu-t3942279 (the 10.3.14.0 one) I am now stuck in fastboot mode and when I hold power and volume up I get a brief Redmi logo then fastboot. The only thing that I dislike is the red lock/power button as it really looks out of place with the rest of the color scheme. The good thing is that most cases cover the buttons. In Unboxing videos I saw a case with full camera protection with a lip that goes above the camera lense to protect it. Mine came with a full cutout without that coverage of the camera bump. Now redmi note 7 is same as mi note 3 except optical zoom and that big notch of note 3. Note 3 costs as much as mi 9t. [link] [comments]  |
