    My old Oneplus 6 is getting a little long in the tooth and the company has gotten a little lax about security updates which is something I care about. I have a little extra cash this year so I was thinking instead of doing what I normally do and get a cheaper refurbished chinaphone I would just splurge out and finally get something top-of-the-line.

    I'm a fairly simple man, all I really do is game, listen to music and browse/chat, so maybe this phone is a little overkill for that but if I buy one phone every five years I'd like it to be the best choice. Phone sites these days seem pretty bad and just give all phones good reviews so do any real people wanna tell me all the stuff they like/dislike about theirs and convince me? :)

    I have been looking to get a new phone since my current one is having charging issues.

    However i have a concern about the chip in the uk version

    Ive heard that its much worse than the us versiosn? Is that true?, how much worse is it in practice? If it is true that we get a worse chip, why?

    Mainly use my phone for gaming (mobile games plus emulator) and music, not hugely fussed about camera.

    Here are the phone I got prior to this one : LG Shine plus Samsung Note 2 Samsung note 4 OnePlus 3t

    The phone is (almost) perfect. It's big, fast, the battery is a beast. I love the screen. The camera, damn it's good. It was crap on my 1+, and this one just made taking picture enjoyable.

    But why does the back of the phone vibrate so much when you play something through the speaker?

    And who the hell greenlight that god awful finger print sensor. Seriously... The one on my 3t was 10x faster. The 1+7 uses the same technology and is pretty much instantaneous. I'd go without authentification if I didn't have my credit card logged on Samsung pay.

    I know I'm probably late to this party but I finally sat down tonight and got spotify to work on my watch into my Buds when I'm away from my phone. That is an awesome feature and now I'm mad at myself for not doing it sooner
