    Q7FN flickering like crazy (2018)

    Got home from a night shift to absolutely crazy flickering on the built in sources.

    YouTube constantly flickering between image and black bars going across screen, also on the built in movie preview channels and through the entire picture test which I videoed.

    I tried to talk to support but apparently it doesn't like the Samsung s8 phone because it was randomly cutting off half of the text on the screen making correspondence impossible.

    I think it might be related to static images as the flickering is non stop once one appears on screen, including the menu.

    There's no issue on my xbox one for some reason, only turned it on to check if it also had the same problem.

    Any fixes?
    I've tried the eco mode disable and the auto dimming they recommend and no dice.

    Edit:disabled led clear motion and it stopped happened, this didn't happen until the update my TV downloaded yesterday... Weird, is it a fault or software issue

    Anyone using a Galaxy Tab as a laptop replacement?

    I have been really satisfied with the progress of Microsoft Office and note taking apps on mobile in the last few years. As a student/researcher, I find that most of my work is doable just with these writing apps.

    Does anyone here have experience ditching a laptop for a Samsung tablet? Did you regret it? What percentage of your work would you say you can complete on your tablet?

    With the Note 10 coming out by the end of the week, and so many of us upgrading to it, I have a question about doing the upgrade. I know the Note 10 comes with a Type-C to Type-C cable, can you just use that to connect two galaxies together to use Smart Switch? Or would you still need to use the OTG adapter?

    Hey so what's up with my phone activating the eye/face scanner for no reason and not even unlocking?

    I have the Note9 and some of it's features I've been really loving are all the security features. It's really cool to just have my phone scan my face and unlock, then I found this one feature where it automatically wakes the screen when I pick it up.

    Now... something about these features that strikes me a bit odd ...

    Usually, I lift the phone, the lock screen pops up, and the little red face scanner light turns on...

    Recently I've been noticing the scanner turns on when it's still on the Always On Display. It doesn't do anything. It's just...scanning. it's not until I hit the lock button that the lockscreen pops up, unlocks, then it stops scanning.

    Without the lockscreen, I find it just scanning for no reason. Not the notification light, the bigger retina scanner light next to it.

    It's been bugging me. Why does it scan for no reason, and not reacting until I wake the screen?

    Pretty ominous my completely locked phone is scanning, not to unlock...just scanning...

    Dex has so much potential

    If I recall correctly, we're getting the 3rd generation Dex with Note 10. Note 10's Dex is head and shoulders above the predecessors and I'm incredibly stoked to use it once my Note 10 comes in mail. I find it hilarious that with Dex, my Note 10 will have better continuity features with my MacBook Pro than the iPhones do. But this isn't where my excitement stops. Samsung will continue to work on improving the Dex. As we approach the wirelessly connected world, I have no doubt in mind Samsung won't keep Dex "wired" for long. I can't wait to use Dex over wireless connection, most likely bluetooth, and access my phone from my laptop to respond to messages from 4~5 different messengers and social networking apps that I use.

    Will the keyboard cover for tab s6 work for tab s4?

    I got the tab S4 a month ago because I didn't want to wait that long for the tab S6 and I didn't think the wait was worth it. However I didn't know they would have a touchpad in the S6 book cover. So, does anyone know if that cover will work for the S4 or should I get the money back and wait for the tab S6? The S-pen, slick bezzels and hardware were just not enough for me to wait but the touchpad really tips the scales and I still got the option to get the money back so why not?

    Samsung dex on S9 not displaying on tv

    My s9 is connected to the tv using a usb C hub and then a hdmi cable connected to the hub to the tv. Then thr charger is connected to the hub aswell. The phone boots dex fine but the tv only blinks the display once and then is black (not showing no signal) the phone still shows its in dex mode. Please send help!
