Posted: 18 Aug 2019 08:24 AM PDT I've never heard of this before. HBO has always worked fine for me but I've had trouble in the last month with stuttering (all other apps work fine, including Netflix). I contacted them and they told me what I wrote in the title. It's not like I have rooted it either so I don't understand what the problem is. Anyone else here that heard about this before, or that is having trouble with the HBO app? [link] [comments] |

What are the best custom ROMs for OP7 non-pro. Posted: 18 Aug 2019 03:27 PM PDT Every guide or video talks about the OP7 pro models, which is quite different from OP7. Hence ROMs would not work on non-pro model. Guys, what are the best ROMs for standard OP7. Give me lists, links or just names. Narrow down my research. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
OP7PRO set to vibrate but doesnt vibrate when receiving a notification. Posted: 18 Aug 2019 04:48 PM PDT When im sitting at my desk I normally have my phone facedown on the table and not in my pocket so I keep it on vibrate so I can hear it when I get a notification. Well I just got my new oneplus 7 pro and I keep it on vibrate just like I do with my previous s8. But today I started noticing im missing a lot of notifications, at first I think its just me and not paying attention but I had my phone face up infront of me and I see the notification thing for a text but it didnt vibrate. Then I layed my phone down and waited for a notification to come in and sure enough it didnt vibrate. I went into settings and I have vibration for notifications on max and the slider is on vibrate so idk. Anybody know whats going on? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Aug 2019 12:26 PM PDT Hello! Trying to get some advice here over what device to choose. I currently have a Note 8 unlocked that I bought from Verizon and am using with Mint Mobile now, but wanting to get a new device with band 71 compatibility and I use flagship phones. I can get a Note 10+ for about $600 after using trade in deals and selling accessories/my phone. I can get the OP7 Pro for about $550. I really like the OP7 Pro's screen and performance, the 90Hz seems interesting and that it would make a big difference day-to-day. Also, having dual SIM capabilities is useful for whenever I travel internationally, and I'd like to have that, though not a huge need. I'm not a big photography person, so that I'm not worried about, if it can take decent pictures then I'm not worried. I'd like them to be similar or better than my Note 8, but no biggie. I can't seem to decide between the Note 10+ or the OP7 Pro, mainly as I like Samsung devices, while the OnePlus seems to be a really great Challenger to the Note 10+ still. I don't use the S-Pen as much as I'd like to, but I'm going to be taking an art class in school so maybe that might change. What do you guys think? (I know this is a OnePlus subreddit so opinions will be biased but they still matter to me). Has anyone else been deciding between the OP7 Pro and the Note 10+? What made you go with either? Thanks! What are all the GM19** versions? Posted: 18 Aug 2019 03:29 PM PDT The main ones I've seen are GM1900, 1901, 1903, 1910. What version is the Chinese version and what version is the Global version? Edit: for the OnePlus 7 sorry 😂 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Aug 2019 07:26 AM PDT I am more than happy with my 7 Pro, it managed to exceed my extremely high expectations! I have only one problem thought. If the phone is locked it appears that apps are only update in 5; 10 and sometimes above 30min intervals. If I open the app (e.g. WhatsApp) then I see my new messages. If the phone is locked for a short period of time, this problem does not occur. And yes I have, data saver off, the battery optimization on don't optimize, etc. My theory is, that for some reason the os quits my programs when the phone is locked to preserve battery. This problem is either deeper in the system or I just got some settings wrong (which I don't think) If none of you have a solution I have to reset my phone but I like to avoid the complications. Edit: If I want to access WhatsApp Web, it often does not work if my phone is locked, because I don´t have an active connection. [link] [comments] |
Is the 90hz refresh rate system wide? Posted: 18 Aug 2019 07:54 PM PDT I'm tossed up between this and the S10. I've found them at the same price. I really want the OnePlus for the 90hz screen but I'm just want to know if it works in every app. For example if you're scrolling through YouTube or Spotify will it be 90hz? And how about video? Posted: 18 Aug 2019 07:35 PM PDT Hello, writing on behalf of a friend. He has a OnePlus 6T, and the screen is not turning on- the phone is functional otherwise, but the screen would need to be replaced. However, there isn't anywhere that will just replace the screen where we live, and to send it in they would delete the files on the phone. Basically, we're just trying to do a file transfer at this point so in the very least he could get a phone that works- or have the files on it. If anyone with a 6T could even post screenshots of the notifications on how to get to allowing a USB transfer, that would be awesome. If anyone has had this issue with this device before and has any other advice, that would also be great. Thanks so much. [link] [comments] |
Best charging case for the OnePlus 6T? Posted: 18 Aug 2019 07:32 PM PDT I'm shopping for a charging case for my OnePlus 6T. I'm looking for something that will at least double my battery life but preferably not so big that it makes the phone extremely bulky. I would also prefer something with a stand as well, but that isn't a huge deal. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 18 Aug 2019 08:52 AM PDT Everytime I try to download an app, it has me clean the cashe before I can install it. I've had the 7 Pro since launch, but the problem just started. Has anyone experience this before and found a solution to the issue? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Aug 2019 07:09 PM PDT I was really excited to get this phone til i learned about the auto brightness problem. Is there any chance it could be fixed with software updates or 3rd party apps? [link] [comments] |
What apps actually support HDR videos/movies? Posted: 18 Aug 2019 06:47 PM PDT I know that Netflix supports HDR with the 4K plan only. And I think the Amazon prime app does too. And I know for sure YouTube supports HDR video but I'm not sure if it supports it for movie rentals too. I was really excited to try out HDR with a 99 cent rental voucher I got for Google play. Only to realize that they only stream HDR to compatible 4k tvs. Any other apps that I can use either free or paid to use the HDR display? [link] [comments] |
How normal is a little wiggle in the 7 Pro camera pop up? Posted: 18 Aug 2019 09:30 AM PDT So here's the deal, OnePlus doesn't have a service center where I live so I'm shit out of luck warranty-wise. But the store I bought the phone from gave me a 14 day check-warranty. So I'm trying to make sure everything is A ok in the next 2 weeks. The camera pop up has a tiny little wiggle both left and right and forwards and backwards. Is that normal? Because I've seen many reviewers say it's very well made and had no wiggle. Thanks for your help. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Aug 2019 12:06 AM PDT Any recommendations for a pair of solid wireless for the 7 Pro? Edit: After reading all the suggestions I've decided to go either with the Anker Soundcore Liberty or the Samsung Buds. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Aug 2019 10:38 AM PDT I've got a OnePlus 7 Pro, and I'm thinking about rooting it. I have been using the phone for a while, and would like to know if there's any way to save all of my data and not lose it all when I unlock the bootloader to root. Or maybe I have this completely backwards and I'm completely wrong. Either way, would someone please help me by letting me know if I can save all the data, pros and cons of rooting, the process, and basically just give me a "Rooting for Dummies" type guide? If appreciate a link or just a comment. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
[oneplus 7 pro] do you know a 2m cable that supports warp charge? Posted: 18 Aug 2019 08:21 AM PDT The official cable is 1.5 max and i want at least 2m cable, I've 3m and 2m cables but they dont support warp charge. Warp charge reach 6a and i bought baseus 6a cable and the max it could output is 1.5a (like normal cable) and when i reached to them about this they gave a lame excuse that this only support huawei fast charging. Any help is appreciated, thanks! [link] [comments] |

No Service after restart (OnePlus 3T) Posted: 18 Aug 2019 12:11 PM PDT Hi, I've got a OnePlus 3T on 9.0.5 and I've had this weird bug, that being when I restart my device I'll no longer have any service, it'll detect that a SIM Card is installed but it'll show a signal bar with no signal and it'll remain like that until I open and reinsert the SIM card slot while the device is powered on then the service returns. this happens every time the device is powered off and on again. This has only occured after the 9.0.5 update and I reinstalled the software from scratch (Wiped Cache e.c.t) to see if that would have fixed it but it hasn't, Is anyone else experiencing this? Also when I go into about phone/Status the SIM section will say "unknown" where it says 'Phone Number'. [link] [comments] |
Battery issues with OnePlus 6t Posted: 18 Aug 2019 06:57 AM PDT I charge my phone to full last night about 12 hours ago then unplugged to charge my other device. Now, not having any apps open or running I'm down 25% having done nothing. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Aug 2019 03:29 PM PDT I am ready to buy a OP7P and have been excited for weeks. I am only slightly concerned as there was an official announcement of a new phone before the end of the year. Without this I would have likely already upgraded. I need some opinion and advice on whether to wait for the next phone or not. Thanks everyone [link] [comments] |

Landscape notifications in last update Posted: 18 Aug 2019 03:07 PM PDT Since last update, notifications in landscape are just useless! Their icon becomes the app's icon, they cannot be expanded and buttons but reply are not shown anymore. Why? Did you suffer from this? I'm on a 6T... [link] [comments] |
