| Posted: 26 Aug 2019 06:27 AM PDT Hello! Been dealing with this for about 6 months now. It started after the local gas company was digging around, and cut an underground cable. Called the ISP, they ran a temp patch cable, then later buried a permanent cable. Equipment:

| How to stream a different computer Posted: 26 Aug 2019 01:22 PM PDT So I have a Macintosh PowerPc 8600/200 and as the title says id like to stream me playing with it from my gaming PC which runs windows. Problem is I have no idea on how to do it. I thought if i were to connect them to the same monitor that it might work but it didn't. I thought about a capture card but unless i found one that supported VGA I doubt would it would work. [link] [comments]  |
| Secure boot; can’t boot to optical drive Posted: 26 Aug 2019 11:38 AM PDT I'm dealing with a Dell Inspiron 5550 notebook. I suspect a hard drive issue, and would like to run SpinRite6. It has an optical drive. It doesn't show up in the boot options. I did disable secure boot, but the EFI/BIOS seems to want some additional commands in order to boot to the CD. Do I have any other options or do I need to open it up and use my desktop to boot SpinRite on the naked drive? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 25 Aug 2019 08:35 PM PDT Pinging 8.8.8.8 with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 8.8.8.8: bytes=32 time=486ms TTL=56 Reply from 8.8.8.8: bytes=32 time=1520ms TTL=56 Reply from 8.8.8.8: bytes=32 time=1514ms TTL=56 Reply from 8.8.8.8: bytes=32 time=1263ms TTL=56 above is just an example of what i have been dealing with. i have pinged my modem and i get 1ms so its not a problem with that and im just trying to see if anyone can help me. Im calling century link tomorrow because im tired of trying to fix this but i know they will just send someone out in a week or two and just replace the modem. seeing if i can try anything to fix this so i dont have to deal with that. thanks for the help. also packet loss will sometimes be 0% 25% or 100% [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 26 Aug 2019 06:08 AM PDT So at the moment when i press "n" in the browser it automatically suggests/fills out Netflix and if I press Y it automatically does the same for Youtube. How to I customize this so I can do the same for other letters i.e. P for Primevideo etc. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 25 Aug 2019 08:55 PM PDT Every time I restart my Lenovo AIO 520 running Win10, I get signed out of google chrome and have to sign back in, my desktop background is changed back to default and files that I've placed on the desktop are gone. My programs are still there also but my McAfee makes me set it up again after restart as well. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks for any and all help! [link] [comments]  |
