Why is Samsung so hell bent on continuing development for bixby when so many people hate it? Posted: 26 Aug 2019 05:12 PM PDT Curious iPhone user here who is is wondering if Note and Galaxy users have the same question. I was listening to an Android Central podcast episode today and they were discussing the note 10+, when arriving at the Bixby topic Ara Wagner one of the AC editors gleefully talked about how it was much easier to disable Bixby entirely on the Note 10+. This made me think that as an iPhone user I do use Siri fairly regularly, acknowledge that she is in some need of improving but I haven't ever felt the need to disable her completely like I hear about with Bixby. I mean an app was created specifically when the S8 came out to disable it LOL. So why when there is so much resistance to Bixby does Samsung continue to pour resources into development even when they barely even glazed over it at the unpacked event compared to the Note 9 unpacked? Do any of you Samsung users genuinely like Bixby or would you rather Samsung pour their resources into something else? Sorry for the long post. TL;DR Why does Samsung continue to pour resources into Bixby when clearly the user base wants to disable it immediately during the setup process? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Aug 2019 10:28 AM PDT I am probably one of the few people who actually used the New York Times home screen widget. It showed current news in a photos slideshow. One of my favorite parts of the home screen. Saw today that the app got updated overnight, and the widget is no longer available. There was literally no reason to get rid of this. Even if most people didn't use it, it could have stayed. I know that there isn't a way to get it back, but are there any other good "photos" widgets out there? [link] [comments]
[DEV] Major update with audio fingerprinting and redesign of my primary app - AutoTagger tag editor. Posted: 26 Aug 2019 06:26 AM PDT Hi guys! Few months ago i've wanted to improve my existing app, but codebase was shitty (after 2.5+ years) and i decided to rewrite app from scratch! If you don't know what is AutoTagger, it is automatic and batch music tag editor app! So i felt a very enthusiastic about this idea because this way i could bring all long-requested features. As far this update is most majorupdate during app launch, there are a lot of new features:
Unfortunately due to completely new strings a lot of translations were lost and if you want to help with translation, you are welcome (i am always happy to gift a promo codes). I've already published this update in Google Play and it collects a lot of positive reviews, but if you would face with any issues, please notify me. And by tradition, a set of promo-codes for two in-app purchases: Please mark them as taken after you use a code . Thank you and if you enjoy the app please take the time to leave a review as it helps me a lot and reflects on my hard work :) [link] [comments]

Anyway to have this indicator 24/7? Posted: 26 Aug 2019 11:40 AM PDT When I change my volume on the YouTube app, it displays this smaller volume indicator. Is there anyway to have this be on all the time? Is there a way to make an app that draws over other apps, and enables this so it's on when you use other apps? Thanks in advanced! I have an S10e btw [link] [comments] |
