4 Quick Tl;Dr Android Game Reviews / Recommendations (Episode 115) Posted: 16 Aug 2019 06:06 AM PDT Welcome back, my fellow mobile gamers - to this weekly roundup of the 4 most interesting mobile games I've played this week :) This week, I'll be covering an online 3D action RPG, a humoristic fantasy clicker game, a Tennis-meets-Zombies casual arcade game, and a new "WoW-clone" MMORPG. Disagree with my opinion? Let's have a friendly discussion below. New to these posts? Check out the first one from 115 weeks ago here. The games are "ranked" somewhat subjectively from best to worst, so take the ranking for what it is. Let's get to this week's 4 games:Evil Lands [Game Size: 664 MB] (free)Genre: RPG / Fantasy / 3D / Action – Requires Online Access Orientation: Landscape Required Attention: Full tl;dr review: Evil Lands is a fun semi-open-world online 3D action RPG with PvE and PvP, no card systems, no energy systems, and no VIP systems (they do exist, apparently :p). Unlike most mobile RPGs, although we primarily kill monsters, bosses, and complete quests alone, we do play in a world filled with other players, which makes the universe feel all the more alive. The graphics are above average, combat is fluid and fast-paced, there are lots of skills to unlock and level up for each class, and an attribute system allows us to truly customize our build too - all of which I love. The game does have its minor flaws, such as a too low monster respawn-rate, but at least the monetization is relaxed (we CAN buy better gear immediately, but there's fortunately never any need to do so). Google Play: Here YouTube First Impressions / Review: Here Almost a Hero [Game Size: 214 MB] (free)Genre: Clicker / Idle / RPG - Offline Playable Orientation: Portrait Required Attention: Idle tl;dr review: Almost a Hero is a well-regarded humoristic idle clicker set in a fantasy RPG universe (check out the game's sizeable Reddit community). The game sticks to the good old "clicker" game recipe; tap the screen to deal damage, kill monsters to gain gold, use gold to buy heroes that deal damage for us automatically, reset all progress to gain a permanent stat boost, repeat. What the game lacks in gameplay innovation, however, it makes up for in its super clean art style, fine-tuned and decently paced progressions, a great fantasy setting, fun humor throughout, and a monetization that doesn't try to force us to buy iAPs. Google Play: Here YouTube First Impressions / Review: Here Smashy Duo [Total Game Size: 121 MB] (free)Genre: Arcade / Tennis / Zombies / Sports – Offline Playable Orientation: Portrait Required Attention: Full tl;dr review: Smashy Duo is a fast-paced arcade game that mixes tennis with...smashing zombies. Because why not? After launching our tennis ball, the objective is to tap either the left or right side of the screen at just the right time to keep smashing the ball back into the faces of zombies. The game features 100+ heroes (skins) to unlock, 5 power-ups to upgrade, a barebone story-mode, and an endless mode. A 2-player multiplayer mode is sadly really missing from this game. Monetization happens through a $3 iAP to remove all ads, with iAPs going up to $10 to buy more gold if you want to unlock all character skins immediately. As with any arcade games, Smashy Duo will eventually grow stale and repetitive, but for a quick casual game, at least the concept is more unique than the average! Google Play: Here YouTube First Impressions / Review: Here World of Kings [Total Game Size: 1.98 GB] (free)Genre: MMORPG / Fantasy / 3D / Auto - Requires Online Access Orientation: Landscape Required Attention: Little tl;dr review: World of Kings is a new 3D fantasy MMORPG with a cartoony style and overall gameplay that is very similar to Crusaders of Light. The large world requires us to use the auto questing / movement system to navigate because we're never told where monsters or NPCs are located, and all PvE battles can be finished 100% on auto. On the bright side, the game's 9 classes feel distinct and unique, and in team-based dungeons, a proper combination of classes is required to be able to survive (unlike in most mobile MMORGPs). The English translation is horrible, the game's very pay-to-win, and the entire game feels somewhat rushed. Despite the hype, I'd stay away from this one, or at least wait a few months to see if it's still actively being developed. You've been warned! :) Google Play: Here YouTube First Impressions / Review: Here Google Sheet of all games I've played so far (searchable and filter-able): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bf0OxtVxrboZqyEh01AxJYUUqHm8tEfh-Lx-SugcrzY/edit?usp=sharing TL;DR Video Summary (with gameplay) of last week's 4 games: https://youtu.be/T8W22R0aDJo [link] [comments]

Action RPG Equivalent to Buriedbornes? Posted: 16 Aug 2019 04:45 PM PDT Hey everyone! As the title says, I'm looking for a more action oriented rpg that shares the truly random gear and custom abilities that Buriedbornes has. Buriedbornes is such a great game and I've played it for a long time now but would love to try something similar. The main aspects I am looking for are:
This is asking a lot but I would love to hear what similar games /r/AndroidGaming has enjoyed. [link] [comments]

SRPG/Deck builder recommendation Posted: 16 Aug 2019 07:46 PM PDT I've recently quit playing a gacha/SRPG and now I need another to waste my life on. Even a decent Deck builder game that isn't a Clash clone would be fine. [link] [comments]
Does Witcheye feature Cloud Saves? Posted: 16 Aug 2019 05:42 PM PDT
Posted: 16 Aug 2019 02:29 PM PDT I was just looking at some recent sales and thought I'd grab a few games when I realized that I've become quite active when it comes to buying premium games. It's like I buy 1-5 games every month. That's a lot of games. Maybe I should slow down a bit? I'm not short on spare cash nor do I spend huge amounts, but I feel like I'm not playing the games out thoroughly and just buy new games when I forget where I left off in the last one (because I didn't have time for a week, or switched to a different game I haven't finished for a while), or a shiny new gem appears and I have top have it. Im spending anywhere from 5 to 17 euros on new games to play each month, most of them I never finish. Some I save for later(I actually always get back to them eventually). Some last a week, some last a few days. It's kind of like this endless hunt for new entertainment for all kinds of new life situations (short burst games for when life is hectic, long games when there's more room for me-time..). Sometimes it's nice artsy games, sometimes just creative puzzles, sometimes it's the hottest indie PC ports. So I don't know. How much do you guys spend on gaming monthly? Any of my spastic buyer bois out there? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Aug 2019 08:39 PM PDT This game is a lot of fun, it's a sequel to the the game Banana Kong which is a 2D Endless Runner, one of the best 2D Runners IMO. This sequel is a level based game with worlds and it's a lot like the barrel sections in the old Donkey Kong Country games which is pretty cool, thought I'd share it because the game is great and the devs FDG always pump out quality games, their mobile games are always a lot of fun. Oh yeah i almost forgot, this game has hearts that you have to wait for like Candy Crush which is a bit of a bummer but i get it because they don't want us completing the game in a day haha but other than that great game. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.FDGEntertainment.BananaKongBlast.gp&hl=en-GB [link] [comments]
What's the best Rocket League clone? Posted: 16 Aug 2019 11:21 AM PDT I just put Rocket League into the search bar on the play store, and like 15 clones pop up. Which ones are the "good" ones? Or is the answer none? [link] [comments]
What are some good multiplayer Android games? Posted: 16 Aug 2019 10:02 AM PDT Google Play sucks at giving you the content you want and the popular section is full of games from Instagram ads so it can be extremely hard to find the games you want. If you know of any, please tell me in the comments [link] [comments]
Grim Fandango removed from the Play Store Posted: 16 Aug 2019 02:55 AM PDT I wanted to buy it a couple of days ago and it was no longer in the store. Does anyone know what happened? The devs (Double Fine Productions) don't seem to respond to my mail asking the same question. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Aug 2019 07:50 PM PDT Released my first Android game! Hi, my name is Dinesh. I am learning unity from last 2 years. Made a bunch of games since then, but couldn't release them cuz they all were really bad. I got inspired from hollow knight, Ori and the blind forest, dark souls and decided to make a platformer. But uh.. I just decided. It could not be completed. Two months back, I participated in one of the game jams but couldn't complete the game on time. So I worked on it for 2 months (could've taken less time tho), and rewrite the story and the gameplay. Finally released it today. 'THE LOST PLANET' is a very short, story driven, Arcade game about the planet Pluto and the mother Earth. Pluteno, the fuel to end our suffering, extracted from the very core of fallen plutonians plagues our extinction on Pluto. War is a terrible ordeal, spread apocalypse to settle your own. To match your requirements need to salvage what's left of Mother Earth, Pluto must bleed till the very end. It however is always guarded by it's very own Guardians i.e. The Big Five of Pluto. Can you slay millions to protect millions. Is Genocide not look down upon, when the cost is one's own salvation ? Earth is dying, protect her or is it too late already ? Here you go : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.po1ar.TheLostPlanet Do check it, any feedback is appreciated. Thank you! ( Sorry for bad English ) [link] [comments]

[HELP] Issue with left analog stick in gta sa Posted: 16 Aug 2019 12:08 PM PDT Here's the issue: I recently bought gta sa (for android, you guessed it), and wanted to play it with a ds4 controller, I connected it using an OTG cable. The game responds to every button on my controller, including the r3 and l3 buttons, but it doesn't respond to any input from the left analog stick meaning i'm able to do everything but move around. Anyone experienced the same issue and/or know the solution to my problem? I appreciate any advice or hints to what might be the cause of that. [link] [comments]
GTA San Andreas camera issue - HELP PLS Posted: 16 Aug 2019 11:50 AM PDT When I try and play GTA SA on my note 9 using a bluetooth controller the camera is all over the place and almost uncontrollable. Has anyone else come across this and is there a solution? Thanks in advance legends [link] [comments]

Recommended p2p RPGs? Something on the newer side would be preferred. Posted: 16 Aug 2019 09:50 AM PDT Hello! I wouldn't say I'm new to mobile games, but I have not invested a lot of time into a paid game besides OSRS. Even OSRS is technically free. Can anybody recommend something worth paying for that isn't full of expensive microtransactions? [link] [comments]
