Android Gaming I GREATLY enjoy nearly ALL mobile games I have played for the first few hours or days... and then they ALL hit that wall, where even if I wanted to invest some money... the grind is still too extreme. Any recommendations on games that keep a steady pace even with some money being spent?

Title. Oh... And I will try them, but I tend to not enjoy games that allow PvP raiding of my stuff... It is just no fun to me in most implementations.

    Looking for truly idle games

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 04:45 PM PDT

New job, no time to game. Looking for idle games that only require 5-15 min a day that still feel rewarding. I like fantasy /d&d style genre. Really don't like sci-fi and guns . Anyone know some good ones like that?

[DEV] PING - A Ping Pong game you play by swinging your phone around

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 11:06 AM PDT

    Hi all,
This is a game I actually made quite a while ago to play on my own and with some friends, but I've recently started actually advertising it and I'd love to know what you think of it.

The original goal was to make a game that made people look silly while playing it (in this capacity I would say it succeeds), and I thought it would be interesting to make use of the accelerometers we've all got in our phones in a novel way for mobile gaming. PING has you play Ping Pong by swinging your phone around - you won't be looking at your screen much since you'll be swinging it, so this game is all about audio and timing. It can be a bit tricky to learn the timing at first, but once you're used to it, I actually find it a bit addictive (if you can handle the stares you'll get). You can also play against other Android users via Bluetooth if you want to make a fool of two people at once.

Anyway, enough introduction, here is PING

Is it really hard to port this masterpiece into mobile? There is not even copycat of it. Even AOE 2 will do the job

    Super soccer champs 2019

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 12:26 PM PDT

Has anyone bought or played it on android? It's free on iOS where I have it on my iPad and wouldn't mind it on my pixel2 too for when I've not got the iPad.

The iOS version has an extra to buy that grants some bonus bits, would I get that automatically on the android version?

    How is Football Manager Mobile?

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 10:05 AM PDT

I see that FMM is on sale right now and was thinking about picking it up. Anyone that has played it, would you recommend it or are there better manager games on mobile?

Also, with FMM20 right around the corner, would it be better to wait?

    Baldur's Gate Mobile worth $10?

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 06:49 AM PDT

Title. Never played the series and have heard good things about it. I like the accessibility of having it on my phone but if it is buggy or cheaper to get it on PC/Console then I'll go with that.

    Just wanted to check!

Quick Poll to Judge Player Gameplay Experience

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 11:20 AM PDT

    Hey guys,

There is a lot of talk on this forum about wanting to promote the market to go towards "Premium" games, and to remove ads and IAP type games. It's tough for developers to sell that to their shareholders unless there's some sort of gauge to go by when pitching a game idea and monetization method.

If you guys could vote in the strawpoll below, we can see the "demographic" of the average user of this subreddit, and it may tailor game developers to create games closer to what the majority would pay for. In the comments, if you can also qualify your choice, that would also really help! (If you prefer premium purchase, is there a price range? Does it depend on content? e.g. 20 hours of gameplay = $5?)

    https://www.strawpoll.me/18505186

    Cheers.

Looking for a game that's similar to the stuff you see in that fake afk arena adverts

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 03:42 AM PDT

Hey folks, you know those fake afk arena ads that keep popping up? They show a cool game mode that their game doesn't have (hence "fake"), but id love to find a game that DOES have it please.

Here is a vid showing comparison of Ad Vs Gameplay. At around 23 seconds in, you can see on the left side the footage of some whirlwind character slaughtering hundreds of enemies.

    https://youtu.be/rOOtdk9ibnM

I am looking for a game that has something similar. Basically a game that lets you kill hundreds or thousands of enemies quickly. It feels kinda satisfying to do that. You can see another similar clip at 4:52.

I'm not interested in PVP so single playable games only please (or games where you can skip PvP).

    Thanks!

PS3 Controller on Android, some help please.

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 09:32 AM PDT

So im trying to connect a PS3 controller to my Galaxy A50 via an OTG cable, charging cable of the PS3 and the controller itself. So far so good, it detected it, i can browse through apps, but thats it. I can't use any other button in order to enter, exit, back or other things, and i've seen people using this easy method having no problem.

I also conntected it on my PC via bluetooth this time, no problems at all. The only problem i have is on android, i have acces only on half of the controller, you know. Just movment. Any solution ? (preferable without rooting)

    [REQUEST] Best Life Simulator games

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 08:53 AM PDT

You know the drill. "Simulations of Life" type of games. I played Life Sim and it was good. But now I know all mechanics, it is a bit boring. Are there any good Life Simulator games? It can have IAP, adds and can be paid, I dont mind it. Only requirement is being a good game.

Is there a game like Clash of Clans released in the last couple years?

    Posted: 19 Aug 2019 06:36 AM PDT

I know I know, but I really enjoy how Clash of Clans is set up. I can play whenever I have free time at work, and I don't have to sign on at specific times for rewards. I tried Rise of Civilizations but I am missing out on a ton of events because I can't just log on whenever during the day to help in hour long clan wars or gatekeeper rallies or whatever. Also in Rise of Civilizations you have an overall power level and troops, but you can get zerod and lose everything pretty easily and your base setup doesn't matter at all, so the game just feels like a numbers game.

I have tried looking for a COC clone, but I cant find anything from after 2015? I found this game called Chaos Heros: Zombies War, but I was thinking there HAS to be something better then this.

    Anybody have some suggestions?
