Counter Strike:CS 1.6 and its multiplayer, Half Life and all its mods, Quake classic can all be played on Android phones. Full PC games. No one ever seems to remember and recommend that!

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:26 PM PDT

I was going through my Playstore wishlist and came across these:

When people request PC ports, shooter or multiplayer games, no one ever seems to know that these particular games exist on Android. Full PC games. They aren't ports. You have to get the game data directly from your PC. That is just amazing!

A developer made launchers for CS, Quake Classic and Half Life and put them on the play store. These launchers run these games comfortably. CS hits 60 to 70fps on a midrange phone. Mark you, the servers for CS 1.6 are still up and running so it's not a dead multiplayer shooter after all these years.

Half Life and its mods has launchers too.

All you need do is download the particular app, copy data from your PC to your phone, and play freaking PC games on your phone at full speeds. Instructions are given on the Google Play Store details page on how to do that.

Here are the basic links(no mod app links).

    Cs 1.6 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.celest.xash3d.cs16client

    Half Life https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.celest.xash3d.bshift

    QC https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=su.xash.xash3d.dmc

Play Store tried to make me buy a game I already own....

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:35 PM PDT

Went through my games to reinstall Deus Ex the fall and was prompted to pay 99 cents to download. I bought the game a couple years ago and played it for a while(uninstalled when I switched devices). Why would it try to make me pay again? Anyway around.... should I contact Google?

    Games like Underhand?

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 09:23 PM PDT

Recently discovered Underhand and I really love it. It's free, ad-less, and doesn't have any IAPs so I recommend it to anyone that hasn't played it. Anyway, I'd love to play a similar card game. I don't mind paying up front but I hate IAPs/P2W/gacha-like mechanics. Thanks.

Trying to find a racing game I used to play.

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 10:46 AM PDT

Hey all, As the title states im trying to remember a game I used to play.

It was a racing game where you had to follow a path by holding your finger on the phone and trying to beat the times of others. It had daily races that changed every day.

    Thanks in advance!

In search of some great time wasters

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:31 PM PDT

So I am looking for a game, or games, that I could use to kill some extra time I have every now and then, but Play Store isn't so great for browsing games so I need you guys to help me find those hidden gems.

    Requirements (or preferations):

-Pick up and let go -type, so I can play the game at any point for X amount of time and can stop whenever I want without being tied for certain periods of time

-Not mainly a PvP game, but PvP can be a part of it

-RPG elements are a must, levels, equipment, characters, skills and skills trees etc. It doesn't need to have all of those but there has to be something to level up

-'Story' progression, as in that I don't like a pure idle clicker game, but something where I can progress forward

-ONE HANDED, so preferably portrait mode

-Clash of Clans -like cartoony graphics are something that I like tbh

I'll add more if any points come to my mind. Lately I've been enjoying a lot of AFK Arena, but I'd also like something else along side with it.

Thank you guys in advance for all the suggestions! i'll be sure to check them out.

What are your thoughts on Terra battle 1 or 2?

    Posted: 30 Jun 2019 06:21 AM PDT

I played the game one year ago but I uninstalled it because it seems like a game that requires a lot of time, and I didn't understand the whole exploration thing.
