Huawei doesn’t mention what type of RAM and ROM storage their flagship phones use in the specs Posted: 06 Jan 2018 05:07 AM PST They also added a disclaimer they can change product specs according to production batches and supply factors. http://www.hihonor.com/global/products/mobile-phones/honorview10/index.html http://consumer.huawei.com/en/phones/mate10-pro/ Meanwhile OnePlus and Xiaomi mention ram and rom types in specs page [link] [comments]
Allow customisable emoji layout on keyboard. Posted: 06 Jan 2018 02:02 PM PST I love using emojis loads and usually just stick to my recently used, but you can't learn where your recently used are to touch type (as they change) and scrolling through sideways is a painful and slow process. I suggest we can completely customise the first slide of our emoji keyboard, making it quicker and easier to use them. I hope google some day builds this into their gboard. [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:20 PM PST So what do you all think, will we see some decent tablets at CES or MWC this year? Kinda getting tired of only seeing cheap tablets being made. I realize tablets are on a downward trend, but it'd be nice to see some new decent ones. [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Jan 2018 11:26 AM PST People of r/android, what do you think about IR blaster on smartphones? Is it useful for you? Or even deal breaker if a phone doesn't have one? My first and actual device is a Xiaomi Mi5, and, well, most of the times I just use it to annoy someone turning off the tv/projector. What about you? [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Jan 2018 10:57 AM PST That would be one rather simple way of letting people install custom ROMs that will actually have security updates, when the manufacturers just ignore their "old" phones (or just cheap ones). Could it be done, or would it wind up not actually being universal? [link] [comments] |
