I bought the OnePlus 6 last year, thinking I'll keep it for 2-3 years... The 7 Pro made it 1 Posted: 15 May 2019 08:13 AM PDT Seriously it's such an impressive device regardless of the price, Some reviews said it's display is better than the galaxy S10's... The 90hz is so underrated, it makes for a whole new level of experience. I mean it has Everything (except for wireless charging, how could I forget the feature everyone is complaining about yet they never use). My oneplus 6 is such a great phone, but the 7 pro is something else. [link] [comments]
OnePlus 7 Pro is gonna steal a lot of iPhone users Posted: 15 May 2019 04:11 AM PDT I work at large company where everyone have iPhone as their company phone. I switched to Android a few months back and joined the handful of people not having an iPhone (we can chose any phone we want, basically) Today, the CEO of the company saw that I have a 6t and asked me if I enjoyed it. He read about the 7 Pro yesterday and was ready to switch from his iPhone 8 plus to the 7 pro, when it was so stunningly beautiful.. He just wanted to know if I could recommend Oxygen OS or there were some flaws and quirks. I (of course) told him that OxygenOS was ridiculously good, but it took a couple of weeks to adjust to Android, when iOS has been the daily OS for 10 years. I think a lot more will jump the 7 Pro, and unless iPhone XI will be more stunning than the 7 pro, I think the 7 Pro is the 'capture the masses' device (which was the 6t for me) [link] [comments]
Any Staffer lose a badge at the launch event yesterday? Posted: 15 May 2019 12:46 PM PDT Found a Staff Badge around Financial District in NYC for the launch event yesterday. Not sure if they're chipped or anything for security, so was wondering if any Staffer needed it back. Image attached! https://i.imgur.com/JmN0XcI.jpg?1 [link] [comments]
Pixel 3 XL owner thinking of a One+ 7 Pro - help me! Posted: 15 May 2019 06:59 PM PDT Hi, Per title, current Pixel 3 XL owner, previously lots of HTC / Google / Sony Android phones. Very keen on the One+ 7 Pro, had some more in-depth questions that the reddit community may be able to help me with.
Any other tips / info / hints for a new coming to the Oneplus world? [link] [comments]

Do you think the OnePlus 7 will eventually come to the US? Posted: 15 May 2019 01:36 PM PDT The curved display on the OP7 Pro is a huge disappointment, I hate the glare and accidental touches on the side and just cannot see myself buying it. Really wanting the OP7, but international prices seem inflated (plus shipping). Do you guys figure OnePlus will eventually sell OP7 in the US? [link] [comments]
I've gotta say, OnePlus' repair service is excellent. Posted: 15 May 2019 10:40 AM PDT Best repair service I've had to deal with, to be honest. Here's the summary:
I should add that it cost me nothing to send or receive it. I only paid for the screen and labour and it was fixed and returned to me within a week. This might be a typical experience for others but I thought I'd share it as my other repair experiences (Samsung, Motorola) were nowhere near as efficient. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2019 01:59 PM PDT I know I'll get a ton of downvotes for this but, I currently have an S8 that I despise and I was planning on getting an iPhone however looking at the Oneplus has really drawn me towards it. I know this is really overstated but, If I were to drop a grand on an iPhone I wouldn't be able to switch for at least three or four years and the 750$ price of the Oneplus 7 pro seems very attractive, Your thoughts? Posted: 15 May 2019 06:29 PM PDT It seems Amazon sells OnePlus phones one to two months after they come out. Is there a price increase or reduction on Amazon? As a US buyer, do you still have to pay international fees when purchasing through oneplus' website? Are there any other viable ways of buying unlocked 7 pro? [link] [comments]

What can a phone do with 8GB of RAM? Posted: 15 May 2019 05:36 PM PDT I'm coming from an iPhone 6S+ with 2GB of RAM. I might snatch the 7 Pro or wait for 7T Pro. [link] [comments]
I find myself keeping WiFi off with how horrible the handoff is to Mobile data (6t) Posted: 15 May 2019 12:23 PM PDT It's pretty damn ridiculous. It seems I have to kill off any app that was open while on WiFi or it gets stuck in limbo with no connection once I leave a WiFi area. Dev settings to keep Mobile Data Always On has no effect and is for all intents and purposes broken. Any work arounds or suggestions otherwise? [link] [comments]
Just purchased my Nebula 7 Pro from the community drop! Still a few 8GB's available. Posted: 15 May 2019 02:41 AM PDT Haven't been this excited for a launch since the iPhone days back in the beginning. Yes it's a bit more expensive and yes there are some questions but I'm all for a company trying to innovate and push boundaries! Apple could learn a few things. Edit: People are saying most are sold. Don't forget the launch events in London and so on. [link] [comments]
Just Got Back from the Chicago Popup Posted: 15 May 2019 04:34 PM PDT Picked up the Nebula Blue 8/256. Swag is a little disappointing. Water, Popcorn, Stickers, Hat, Tote-bag and a pretty neat Sketch Book I'll probably never use. Guess I was hoping for a case at the very least for the phone. Store wasn't too crowded. They did however sell out of their headphones rather quickly I was told. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2019 06:59 AM PDT Hey everyone, So yesterday I watched the launch event and I love this phone already, but the size is a major issue for me. So for those OP 7 Pro users out there, how is the size for you? Do you struggle keeping it in your pocket? Do you like it or dislike it? [link] [comments]

Screen Protectors for the OnePlus 7 Pro? Posted: 15 May 2019 04:59 PM PDT So with how beautiful the display is for the 7 pro is -- I want to make sure its protected, but looking at the OnePlus store, I'm not seeing a screen protector for it for sale like there is for the 6T. I would chalk this up to the products just not being released yet since the phone isn't, but there's all sorts of listings for other accessories, I'm not sure one will be available at launch. Looking at some third-party manufacturers and the only ones that seem to have products for sale are either flimsy plastic or specifically say that it doesn't fit the curved edge of the screen. I'm not so sure that whatever Gorilla Glass will protect my phone and keep it 100% scratch free -- I usually have at least 2 phones in my pocket (work and personal) and the last phone that I had that's been screen protector free, an iPhone 6SE ended up getting scratched left and right with even a couple of deep gouges so I'm not wanting a $800 phone that's all screen to get scratched up. I'd also be perfectly fine with a case with an integrated screen protector, I had an OtterBox defender for my Samsung S5 and didn't mind it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2019 09:57 AM PDT Im really hoping Tmobile does a trade in program for the OnePlus devices similar to what it did for the 6t. Did they do this at launch for the 6t or wait a week or so? Does anyone have any thoughts on this? [link] [comments]
OnePlus 6 is unable to connect to my university wifi Posted: 15 May 2019 08:48 AM PDT Hi! I have a OnePlus 6 which can connect to normal wifi that just requires password only. However, when I have to provide a username and password anywhere (which includes my university and other institutions), I am unable to connect and OnePlus 6 keeps saying it is trying to connect but never does connect. I have contacted OnePlus 6 support but they are extremely unhelpful and offered absolutely no solution. The university IT admin told me it is a problem with the phone. Therefore, I am now asking about it here. This is a problem because I was able to connect to the University wifi using my previous Android phone which was a Huawei. But OnePlus 6 is unable to do that, [link] [comments]
