I was decided to buy a laptop with 1070 8G but then i found some laptops with 1660ti. In my region ( Slovakia ), Laptops with 1070 cost around 1600€+- and laptops with 1660Ti around 1200€+-. | Will laptop battery die for not using 2 years? Posted: 31 May 2019 10:05 AM PDT I once had a laptop, the battery was dead. I bought a battery which was pretty much same, it fitted into my laptop but it never worked. Later I learned that my battery had an Acer version which had 100% same frame. I was using Packard bell. So I've sent a message to the seller, I asked if it was possible refund at least half of the price maybe. Instead that, without even sending my old battery he had sent second one for free. so.. I never bothered him, and batteries were never used. So If I would sell these online, would they still work? can the batteries drain without using it? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 31 May 2019 01:23 PM PDT I bought a docking station, made sure it was up to spec, and updated the drivers. Plugged everything into it so my laptop wasn't overwhelmed with cords, and it just slowed everything down to the point of being nonfunctional. Even my HDMI connection sucked because I couldn't adjust the brightness and there was just something off about it. Could not operate my mouse, keyboard and other connections without a serious lag going on. Should I give up on the docking station idea? Sucks because I travel a lot from home. My laptop is an Acer Aspire R5-571TG with a USB-C 5 mbps port and the station I bought had the J5create USB-C 5mbps connection as well. Needless to say, I took it back. Should I give it up? I like the MacBook design and trackpad although it's overpriced and the butterfly switches probably going to die after a while. The razer also looks good. The specs are amazing, but I never had the chance to try it since there are no stores in Europe.
