HTC Desire 516 Problem: "Unfortunately, Android System has Stopped" Posted: 30 May 2019 12:09 PM PDT My HTC 516 Dual Sim phone has been experiencing a large software problem. After booting on, when trying to access the home screen, the screen is blank with a continuous pop up error message "Unfortunately, Android System has Stopped" appears. I can access the notifications bar and through that settings, but cant access any of apps due to homescreen not working. Initially the message was "unfortunately, HTC Sense has stopped" but after removing the defaults of this app via settings, it has changed to the "Unfortunately, Android System has Stopped". I have tried factory resetting it, clearing cache of many different apps, and even installing Google Now Launcher as an apk via adb on windows 10 and usb debugging (when it was HTC sense that was not working). I did try booting up hboot by pressing volume down and on button during boot but that the Hboot didnt appear Any help would be much appreciated [link] [comments] |
