Xiaomi Pocophone F1 or Redmi Note 7 Pro? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 05:01 PM PST I can get the 128 GB version of the F1 for 270 euros right now. Or I can wait for the Redmi Note 7 Pro global version which will likely be around the same price. Just looking for recommendations. I prefer the look of the Note 7 Pro but I don't know if that's reason enough to wait. Also, how much faster is the Snapdragon 845 really? Because even tho I don't play intensive games, speed is important. [link] [comments]

Issue with 2 week old Pocophone F1 Posted: 01 Mar 2019 03:48 PM PST I got my Pocophone F1 2 weeks ago from GearBest and tonight the screen started having a few green lines going through it. I can not use the phone at all. I have not dropped the phone and have used the cover provided and put a tempered glass screen protector on this phone. Can anyone confirm if this is an issue with a faulty LCD? Would the only solution be to replace the screen or replace the phone? [link] [comments]
A1 users - did you get February patch? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 10:17 PM PST If yes how's it? Safe to install? Mine is still on January one. [link] [comments]
Unlock pattern on the Redmi Note 5 Posted: 01 Mar 2019 08:36 PM PST So i just noticed that my unlock patter doesn't seem to work anymore. I know it's the correct one, but it still won't let me unlock the phone unless i use my fingerprint. And when i try to go to settings and change it, it just crashes when i try use my pattern. Has anyone experienced this before? I'm just kinda scared that i won'tbe able to unlock it next time it reboots for an update or something like that [link] [comments]
Any Mi Mix 3 vs Mi 9 battery tests yet? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 02:24 PM PST We are all waiting for the Mi Mix 3s and it's promises of a better battery efficiency with the SD855, so are there any comparisons between the SD845 Mi Mix 3 and the SD855 Mi 9 regarding the battery? If there aren't any reviews or videos about that, let's hope this gets the attention of someone with the means to test it! [link] [comments]
Xiaomi MI A2, It shows no sim card very frequently and I dunno what to do. Posted: 01 Mar 2019 01:57 PM PST It's running smoothly and next thing I notice is there is no sim card. It is very hard to know cuz there's literally nothing in place of network signal. I rarely know 'sim card isn't showing' while checking the notification bar. Anyone else having this issue or is it gonna be my sim issue?? It's after the update. Any ideas how to fix this?? Help would be appreciated. Thank you!! [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Mar 2019 09:14 AM PST I know that there's no US store for Xiaomi phones, online or retail, but is there an online store that will ship the Mi 9 global edition to the US or do I have to wait? The only place I found it was Amazon Spain, but they won't ship to the US. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Mar 2019 04:25 PM PST Today I took my phone of the charger at 03.30 and now it is almost 01.30. The battery is at 8%. WiFi was off, LTE was on all the time, GPS was only sporadically on. SOT was 3h30m. Is this considered normal? [link] [comments]
The glass over the dual camera broke. Is there any way to fix/replace it? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 12:28 PM PST I have a Redmi 6 and, unfortunately, it slipped out of my pocket to day. It made contact with the concrete and when I picked it up, the glass over the dual camera was broken. https://imgur.com/a/EIjrlzM Is there any way to fix or replace this particular piece? Micro USB to SD Card adapter that works? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 02:14 PM PST I have a Redmi Note 4 Pro. I want to be able to transfer photos from my DSLR's SD card to the phone to upload/email. For file navigation I typically use ES File Explorer pro but have tried several others all with the same result. I have tried a couple of different micro USB to SD Card adapters also. ES detects the SD card when plugged via the adapters but when I tap into the card it tells me 'fail to open' or words to that effect. Does anyone know of a brand of micro USB to SD Card adapter that works? [link] [comments]
Mi 9 - wait for global version or buy Chinese one? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 10:27 AM PST Title. I'm interested in flashing custom roms - is there any difference between them? I also saw global version will support 4/4 lte bands in my country as opposed to 3/4 on the Chinese version. Thanks. [link] [comments]
Is there already a GCam port for MI A2? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 02:10 PM PST Last time I checked, the only option was via root, something I'm not willing to do, and I just need to know if there's a new gcam port for the MI A2 [link] [comments]
Hey, can anyone help me root my Mi Max 3 please? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 12:14 PM PST I managed to unlock it alright, but I'm not managing to flash TWRP onto it. (the key line is "FAILED <remote: Please check your package anti version!!!>", and when I do fastboot getvar anti I get "FAILED <remote: GetVar Variable Not Found" The main thing I want out of all of this is to be able to install Gcam, but I'm having some hurdles along the way. Can anyone give me a hand here? [link] [comments]
HavocOS on Redmi 5 Plus - Firmware? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 12:12 PM PST I'm trying to flash HavocOS from stock. Do I must flash the firmware? I can't download the firmware from the author's link. https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5/development/rom-havocos-t3807696 [link] [comments]
What are these stains in my Mi8 camera glass? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 12:12 PM PST What are these stains in my Mi8 camera glass? They appeared out of nowhere and don't go by wiping even with water. Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/byEoa1o (Sorry for the quality, taken with my old Nexus 5). They don't seen to affect the quality of the photos, but that camera glass look really bad with those spots. A2 Lite Mobile Data internet stops working after a few hours. A1 carrier (Croatia) Posted: 01 Mar 2019 05:57 AM PST Hey so my gf just go an A2 Lite 2 days ago, I've updated it to pie immediately and then factory reset. Everything works good except for Mobile Data keeps getting a little x and it stops working after 2 hours or so of use. But when I go into network settings and switch from 4G to 3G then back, it starts working again, but also after a few hours it stops. It says 4G and the signal is there but there's an x in the signal down right corner. Does anyone know a fix to this? I'm from Croatia on A1 carrier, should I maybe bring the phone to the carrier so they see what's going on, or do you maybe know what's the problem? Bluetooth is off btw, and turned off wifi. I bought the phone from Amazon.de , from this here. Thank you! [link] [comments]
Can anyone help work out what's happened to my screen? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 07:48 AM PST The past month or so I've noticed what looks like a small scorch mark appear in the top right corner of my Redmi Note 4 which has slowly got bigger and now looks like it's affected the actual screen/digitizer itself. I have a picture but I'm not sure how to post as the rules state it must be in a 'self post', essentially there is a scorch type mark i.e. a darker patch on screen with light edges and then on the actual physical screen itself you can see some white oblong blocks around the same area which I assume are either part of the digitizer or the screen having being overheated and losing part of the display. Everytime I look online I just find info about burn in whereas this seems like a literal burn that's occurring. Just wondered if anyone's encountered the same and whether I should be worried about my phone eventually overheating or even worse burning out. I hope this post follows all the rules, if not please let me know and I'll edit or create another one. Thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Mar 2019 10:32 AM PST My old redmi 4 died a couple of weeks ago, it powers up but the screen is totally unresponsive so I can't enter my passcode to unlock it. I have a new phone and want to retrieve some files from my old phone, pictures etc. Is there anyway to do this? Thanks [link] [comments]
What's that screen stain on my brand new MI 8 Lite ? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 10:16 AM PST Hi there, Bought a Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite on Amazon a few days ago, great phone for the price completely satisfied with it, however it has a stain that lookes like fingerprints but it isn't on the top of the phone. Too regular, cannot be wiped (see pictures below) : I did not spilled anything on it nor water nor anything else, it hasn't fallen either. It's not exactly a trouble when the screen is lit, but I expect a perfect screen for a new product bought 5 days ago. Thus my main question : What exactly could it be ? Secondly I would like to know if that enters within the warranty and if the phone could be replaced. Please note that I am in France and I don't know how Xiaomi Customer Service works. Also do I have to go through Amazon for the warranty or directly to Xiaomi ? Thanks a lot, [link] [comments] |
