Posted: 02 Mar 2019 04:40 AM PST Okay there is a backstory to this, I went to a road trip where i plugged my oneplus 3 to the car charger where it charged for a minute and stopped charging on that specific car charger it also burnt my whole original Dash Charging Cable, I lost "Dash Charging" after that charging mishap. The Phone was running well but i had no Dash Charging and later found out data transfer also didn't work (completely) i.e my phone only charged but never showed up on the computer (No Symptom !) I Thought this was all thanks to the apparently dead type c port I was on a custom rom (Havoc Os 2.0 Jan 2019 Build) With Magisk I decided to give a clean flash with firmware update, because my phone was lagging for quite sometime so i go into TWRP Wipe dalvik cache, cache, system, data, and clean flash all the zips (Havoc Os 2.0 Latest Zip,Gapps 9.0, Magisk 17.9 or 18.0) and here is where i am guessing i messed up real bad I flashed: ( It there is a slight possiblity that it could be open beta modem zip) Stable5.0.8 Firmware+Modem_OnePlus3.zipand pressed Reboot System and thats it BOOM !! My Phone is dead. Completely No response no LED , No Screen, Just Point Blanc Dead So on a Little research i get to know I have Hard Bricked My Phone an have to use a Pc and MSM download tool to get my phone back to life With This Guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-hard-bricked-t3405700 But as mentioned before My Type C Port Was fried thanks to that car charger, So finally I got my Type C port replaced and was ready to connect my phne to the PC and try unbricking process I Have all My Drivers and All Set But..... My Phone still wont get recognized by the pc not even the sound of anything getting connected. Well i got to know the person who replaced the Port apparently forgot to put the screws back on the bottom board and even the metallic bracket that hold the two flex cables....But i can't see that being the problem....Just Being Honest [link] [comments]

Oneplus 6T Battery states doesn't show some apps under Full Device Usage Posted: 02 Mar 2019 08:35 AM PST Video - https://imgur.com/a/EBCT05p Sync (and Brave) app show up under the default Battery stats page, but when I open the detailed page, it is not there. Notice OsmAnd~ maps app is visible on both cases. Sync used more battery that it, so Sync should have showed up under Detailed battery. 9.0.12 Oxyrom. Known issue? [link] [comments]
Oneplus 6T T-Mobile won't charge with another USB Cable, only dash charger works. Posted: 02 Mar 2019 06:00 PM PST Is it normal behavior? I have tried to use the original Samsung one from Note 8, another one from Anker, also tried LG, Samsung power bank. The phone would vibrate once, and nothing happens. Rebooted it a few times, nothing. It's very annoying, especially, if you are in the situation where you need to charge it asap and don't have the dash charge with you. [link] [comments]
Fellow OnePlus 6T users, how has the fingerprint sensor been for you? Posted: 02 Mar 2019 04:14 PM PST I don't say it because it's bad, exactly the opposite, I see many people saying it's shit but for me it doesn't miss almost any time (in February it didn't miss a scan and it was pretty consistently quick [basically the duration of 2 taps to scan]) and has been faster than my iPhone 8's [link] [comments]
Bullets Wireless failing after a few months Posted: 02 Mar 2019 10:18 AM PST Yesterday my Oneplus Bullets Wireless had the same fate as lots of others, after 3 months, just like every other breakdown I could find. The right side doesn't have any audio unless I get real creative with how I bend the necklace. I haven't done anything extreme with them, either it's been on a table or around my neck. Went to the gym with it once or twice, but the gym has decent songs so I stopped bringing it with me (plus it's not waterproof so didn't want to risk getting sweat into the chargeport). I haven't even used the included case (partly because it's really awkward to stuff it in, and why wouldn't I just wear it?) I only really use it at work where all I do is sit with a computer in a way too cold room (so no sweat), so the fact that it broke just points to either a terrible design or quality control. I would link threads on the Oneplus forums, but you can't do that from the app apparently. Easy search though. Just be wary with this headset. It's a really good headset when it works, but with such a design flaw you're better off spending more on actual wireless or just buy a bunch of 10€ wired headsets in bulk. They have the same life expectancy and suffer the same fate anyway. [link] [comments]
OnePlus 3T stuck in Recovery Mode, Need to Retrieve Data Posted: 02 Mar 2019 03:33 PM PST So my OnePlus 3T died the other day, and after plugging it into the charger, it restarted in Recovery Mode. I have been unable to restore it back to regular functions(I'm pretty sure there's a broken button) , so I decided to switch phones. Problem is, I need to retrieve all my data off of the 3T, but I'm unable to establish a connection between my PC and the Phone, due to not being able to put it in MTP mode. Is there a way/program to retrieve the data off of the phone, or is it gone for good? Thank you! [link] [comments]

Fully Leaving the Apple Ecosystem for Android (My STORY) Posted: 01 Mar 2019 10:56 PM PST I'll try and keep this short and simple; my first smart device was an iPod 4th gen, first smartphone iPhone 5, I heard about OnePlus being flagship killers from all of the Tech YouTubers on their first device released but due to them not looking the best and me being an Apple fanboy, I upgraded to the iPhone 7 in the Summer of 2017, I then bought airpods, MacBook Pro and an apple watch so was fully in the Apple ecosystem. I then sold my MacBook Pro to try and get the iPhone XS Max but after deciding it was too expensive for what I needed it for, I bought the oneplus 6T for the stock experience with better features, low price for the performance and also the battery life and the fastest charging (Other than this new SupperVOOC thing from Oppo). I then sold my Apple Watch and replaced it with a Fossil Q Explorist Gen 3 and with the rest of the money left over, I finished my smart lighting and bought a few nice things for myself. My overall experience with the OnePlus 6T has been better than anything I have experienced before by far and everything on the OnePlus 6T works very well and I am glad that I bought one. I recommend the switch to anyone and I also recommend the OnePlus 6T to existing Android users. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Mar 2019 07:54 PM PST I have a 6T from T-Mobile. It only has 1 sim slot on the tray. The other one is blocked. If I buy a tray with 2 slots can I get the dual sim to work? Or is it blocked through Carrier? [link] [comments]

What size foam for USB C Bullets? Posted: 02 Mar 2019 11:03 AM PST I'm trying to confirm whether the right sized foam for the official OnePlus usb c headphones is T-160 (comply) ? If anyone knows, I'd be really grateful for confirmation. [link] [comments]
Why is slow-mo record time so low on the 6/6T? Posted: 02 Mar 2019 06:25 PM PST I mean, I understand the files get large quickly, but especially since 4k60 can go up to 5 minutes and yield a file size several times larger, and since we have so much dam ram, why can't we record for longer than a minute? What's the limiting factor? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Mar 2019 06:08 PM PST I have the pixel 3 and I have the 6T. I love the OnePlus for media consumption and the display and I love the pixel 3 for taking pictures and videos. I'm actually thinking about keeping both am I nuts or do other people actually use two phones is that a thing? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Mar 2019 01:19 PM PST Anyone else experiencing this on this version? I'll notice from time to time my device will randomly restart when it's sitting idly. [link] [comments]
Notification panel white overlay for background Posted: 02 Mar 2019 06:45 AM PST I recently noticed this and it's bugging me now. The screen below notification drawer is TOO white. I think this is a recent update because it didn't use to look like this. With light colored apps in background it looks horrible and with dark apps it doesn't look any better. I'm on OP6, Oxygen OS 9.0.4 [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Mar 2019 03:38 PM PST Pretty sure i had it enabled before (although it could have been OP3) but can't find a way to set live wallpaper on either lock or home on OP6. Any tips or is it a lost cause? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
How do you keep your Oneplus' battery healthy? Posted: 02 Mar 2019 09:01 AM PST I recently became a new member of the Oneplus family and I'd like to get some tips on battery health. My last phone had serious battery problems where it would randomly die independently of battery percentage. (It lasted 5 years though) Currently I'm charging my Oneplus as soon as I get home so I save charging cycles. Say even if my phone has 50% battery I'll charge it instead of waiting for it to drain until 0%. Is this a good practice? I also avoid gaming while charging. Any tips? [link] [comments]

It is factory unlocked from purchase, 128 gig with 8 gig ram, flawless pristine condition been in a full rugged case with glass screen protector since day one, its only 6 months old. I still have the original box and the original charger USB C as well as the quick charger it comes with. I also seeing if anyone has any info on Swappa or just sell it on eBay... mahalos 🤙🏽 [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Mar 2019 01:29 PM PST Yesterday i started using dns.adguard.com to block ads but it was on the wifi at home or using 4g data i had no reboots or any issues, but to day i got random reboots 2 x in 10 minutes and this is not at home just on some other wifi. Are the reboots just from this wifi network or what dont understand anybody have same problems? What is the best alternative for dns.adguard.com? [link] [comments]
OP6t showing two sim card signals Posted: 02 Mar 2019 09:41 AM PST My 6t is showing two sim card signals on top of each other although I am only using one. Can I change it to only show one? I looked through the settings but since I don't have another sim in I can't disable it ! [link] [comments] |
