My oneplus 6 is freezing. Does anybody have same issue? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:32 AM PST For example when i scroll through reddit or Twitter. It freezes as it is. Even If scroll down or up or touch any button like retweet or upvote/down vote post. Nothing happens. I have to close app and then reopen. It works fine then. Issue just with me or anyone else facing same? [link] [comments] |

6T - vibration is changing intensity seemingly at random Posted: 01 Jan 2019 02:28 PM PST So I just got the 6t a couple days ago, and the vibration, most notably the haptic feedback on the keyboard, seems to change drastically. Sometimes it vibrates so little you can barely feel it, and sometimes it's extremely powerful. When it's weak, even changing the haptic feedback setting in Gboard to the max value (100ms) makes it vibrate the same amount as 1ms. Even while this is happening, changing the vibration pattern settings for calls seems to vibrate fine, at expected intensity. I can't figure out why it is this way. Is my phone broken? Has anyone else had this problem? EDIT: I have noticed that I can temporarily fix the issue by going into settings>sound>vibration intensity and changing the "vibrate on tap" setting and then changing it back. It wasn't working properly, then I changed the setting from medium to light and then back to medium and the problem is solved. But it doesn't last. [link] [comments] |

Anybody know how to get the OnePlus 6T Pure Gear TGSP in Canada? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 02:07 PM PST Has anybody been able to get this in Canada? It seems to be the best screen protector and I haven't found another good one yet. http://www.pure-gear.com/tempered-glass-with-alignment-tray-oneplus-6t-high-definition.html [link] [comments] |

Voice doesn't work on oneplus 6T (T-Mobile) Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:11 PM PST Has anyone had any problems with people not being able to hear them talk whether your using the phone, bluetooth or speakers (I can still hear others speak)? It seems to be software related and the currently have sent in a warranty claim at T-Mobile, but I rather not take the chance with a new or refurbished phone as well as getting charged $30 for the replacement. I believe it started happening after the most recent update and tried clearing the cache but that didn't work, my next step is to reset the phone to stock to see if that works. If anyone else experienced this and would like to chime in on what to do would be appreciated. Oneplus 6T (T-Mobile) Android Version 9.0.1 security patch November 1, 2018. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:00 AM PST Hey there, I was just wondering if there was any advice / tips people wanted to share for new 6T users e.g. downloading gcam. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Lag on OnePlus 5T after pie update Posted: 01 Jan 2019 08:05 PM PST Ever since I updated to Android Pie on my 5T, I've noticed that during actions such as scrolling and writing text, the frame rate drops down significantly enough for me to get annoyed. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a fix for it? [link] [comments] |
Is there any downside to battery saver? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 04:15 PM PST Obviously I rarely need to use it because the battery life on this thing is fucking insane. But are there any downsides? I remember hearing Something a while ago about battery saver being bad in the long term? If I don't mind the trade offs it makes can I use it Liberally? [link] [comments] |
Finally native USB Audio Support with OOS 9.0 Posted: 01 Jan 2019 06:19 AM PST I'm using a OnePlus 5 and it didn't have native USB audio support before and you had to use special software to make your hardware work. But now they've added support and I can't express how happy I am so here I am. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 01 Jan 2019 07:22 PM PST just got around installing the tempered glass on the 6T. I have experience installing screen protectors, but why is this screen protector just crap? too many bubbles and the screen doesn't stick properly! and yes, I followed instructions on the box and watched the videos on their site, lol. OP6T: Let charge run out, got a 0% notification, followed by a phone that wont turn on. Posted: 01 Jan 2019 10:29 AM PST I recieved the phone about one month ago, and it has worked wonderfully up untill this morning. When i woke up i tried to turn the phone on, i recieved a "0%, please charge your phone" message. I then inserted the cable a few seconds later to find nothing really happening. After about 10 minutes of charging i swapped the charger cable aswell as adapter to see if that was the problem, without success. The phone has been treated well, and it doesnt have any visible damage. In this case, i can't really see how its the users fault. Does anyone have any idea about OP's refund/replacement policy? ***EDIT*** [link] [comments] |
Help a lost family member out. Posted: 01 Jan 2019 03:25 PM PST Hey guys, I just ordered the oneplus 6t and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Having used the first oneplus model they produced it feels really good coming back to the brand. Since I want to get the most out of my newly arriving phone soon I was wondering what are the stuff you guys did first when you first received the phone, in terms of installing certain software (roms and kernels I believe? Although I am not so sure what they axactly do & are) and or apps. Really looking forward to hearing what you have to say Cheers, A oneplus fanboy [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Jan 2019 02:50 PM PST My op3t's front glass is broken, not the digitizer just the housing. And iam wondering how can i buy both the Front and back housing online. Iam from Egypt and we haven't any store for oneplus yet, so i cant take it to service. [link] [comments] |
OP3T - blocking text still gives me a "message blocked" notification, kinda defeats the purpose Posted: 01 Jan 2019 06:35 PM PST oneplus3T running Oxygen 5.0.8, Android 8.0.0 with all current updates. Trying to block someone from texting me which works to a point, I still get the system message about "message blocked" from default Messaging app Is there a way to suppress this so that the number that is being block is really blocked? OP6 automatically switch between SIM cards for mobile data Posted: 01 Jan 2019 11:01 AM PST I'm living at the border to another country and regularly cross that border. I have two data plans, one for each country. Is there a way the phone switches the default SIM for mobile data automatically, depending on whether I'm on roaming or not? [link] [comments] |
Navigation Gestures app on OP5, is it any good? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 02:34 PM PST Yeah, OP does not support built-in (OOS) Navigation Gestures for OP5, but there's an app for that. Now I would like to know from you great OP5 users with Navigation Gestures App installed, how would you describe the user experience with that as we have the physical fingerprint reader / home button in place.
Appreciated :) // Timo [link] [comments] |
Does anybody know why there is no clipboard option when pasting? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 06:18 PM PST I've got the 6t (oxygen os 9.0.1) and everything is great except for the fact that I dont have the clipboard option when pasting things, like I did on my old LG V30. Is there a way to solve this with an update or something? If not are there any good apps to accomplish this feature? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Jan 2019 02:19 PM PST TL;DR: Two units broke in roughly a month without any damage. Heard from several people about the same exact issue. OnePlus said there is nothing they can do after 15 days. I have received my bullets wireless on November 2nd and I was pretty happy with it: it was comfortable, a bit bass lacking, but nothing that can't be fixed with some software tuning. On November 7th I started noticing some sort of sound interruptions and the next day it was clear that something was wrong with the right earbud. After determining that there is no external damage and gently moving the over-neck cable I made a guess that that cable is at fault. I contacted support via live chat and without any hassle they issued a replacement. Received it a 2 or 3 days later and everything was cool. Fast forward to December 9th and my replacement unit started to show the same symptoms. This time I decided to contact support via email. Meanwhile I found a post on this subreddit and heard from my friend's brother about the exact same issue. After weeks of delayed and mixed responses they suggested to submit rma. The problem was that I can only submit in the first 15 days of recieving the product. After contacting support again I was told that there was nothing they could do. I want to warn people not to buy this product. I might be wrong, but it looks like it has some manufacturing defect or it's just poorly engineered, because it seems like it is not an isolated incident (having two headsets malfunction the exact same way for me and other people doesn't really sound like a coincidence). I own multiple OnePlus products and I have been happy with all of them up until this point. I am quite disappointed that a 70 euro product (that is advertised as a fitness accessorie mind you) is so fragile and that there's no way to get compensated after 15 days. Now I have two malfunctioning headsets in my drawer and have no idea what to do with them. 70 euros (+ shipping) wasted I guess. [link] [comments] |
Double tap power for camera lag and non transparent pill (5t/pie) Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:27 AM PST Ever since updating to pie double pressing the power button to camera from sleep works 1/4 of the time and is really slow. Does this happen to anyone else? Also what the f*ck is the point of the pill if it's barely ever transparent!!!!! The rest of the update is great though :) [link] [comments] |
Thinking about swapping to the OP6 - need some insight (and answers) Posted: 01 Jan 2019 04:09 PM PST I've owned my Pixel 2 for a couple of months now, and as great as it is... I miss the headphone jack way too much. I've already gone through 2 dongles and don't want to keep paying for more. Don't even get me started on how many times I've forgotten them. I've been thinking about swapping to the OP6 for a while (owned the OP2) but I feel like the OP6 is gigantic. I really enjoy using the Pixel 2 because of how easy it is to use with one hand. How is the one-handed use with the OP6? Would it be easy to use while walking/driving (as in, check GPS or toggle voice assistant)? I don't like using pop-sockets but are there any other things that would help me use the phone one-handed? I'm also worried about it falling from my pockets, so how is the durability for some of you? Also, how much better has OP gotten about software updates? They basically left the 2 in the dust - which initially turned me away from their phones (but now I'm back, I guess). Any insight is appreciated! [link] [comments] |
