Posted: 03 Oct 2018 05:18 AM PDT Currently, I've just got a note at the top of the doc saying (paraphrasing here) 'please only add comments, and not suggestions', with an explanation of how to do that. Preventing suggestions from being able to be made at all would be the ideal. Just to clarify: 'Suggestions' in Google docs is a specific thing where you write directly into the google doc itself, whereas 'comments' are things that appear on the right of the doc and are commenting on a highlighted bit of the text. They're two seperate things on Google docs, if that makes sense. I only want people to be able to do the latter. Thanks [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Oct 2018 07:15 PM PDT Hi all, I've had my phone for almost 2 years without a problem. This morning however it started doing something weird. I tried using the facebook app, only for it to keep refreshing my feed and then close on its own. It did it with a couple other apps as well. It got so bad to the point where I couldn't even swipe up to log into my phone because it would "ignore" the action. I can't find anything online to help me solve this problem. I've deleted some downloaded apps I don't use, I've cleared the cache, and restarted the phone a couple times to no avail. Any help is appreciated!!! EDIT: I put it in safe mode and still had the problem, and then I manually cleared the cache and nothing happened. The only other option is a factory reset but I 1. don't have anything backed up and 2. I've read from people with similar problems that it doesn't work. I honestly don't know what's going on or why it's happening. [link] [comments] |
Windows 10 No Admin account. Please Help. Posted: 02 Oct 2018 04:04 PM PDT Prior to today I have been using the Windows Education account connected to my high school, however I've now moved onto university and no longer attend that high school, and it seems my account has been deleted, or at least the password has been changed. When I try to sign into a windows account now (when the PC boots up), I only have an option of another account I had added when I first messed around with the PC, my high school account seems to have disappeared, this new other account does not have administrator privileges though. I believe the copy of Windows 10 that I'm running is still connected to my High School's network though, since in "Access work or school" in my account settings, it says "Connected to ***********" the stars being my high school. Is there any way I can regain administrator access? If not can I save all the files on my high school account somehow? I need them. Please help. [link] [comments] |
