The pocophone f1 is the same price with the mi8 on Chinese retailers Posted: 01 Sep 2018 02:02 PM PDT Don't get me wrong I love the pocophone. I wouldn't trade the 4k battery and headphone jack with anything BUT just for adding these two features makes it the same price as a MI8?! The mi8 has AMOLED display and a premium body for that price. If the pocophone would be 250€ or even 270€ I would probably sell my Redmi Note 5 6gb and get that phone instead. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Sep 2018 07:29 PM PDT Was about to purchase the Mi Max 2 for my daughter and the Mi A2 lite caught my eye. I wanted something for my 6 yr old. I find she struggles with the size and weight of a normal tablet so considered the Max 2. Primary uses would be kids games , YouTube... the price of both phones are similar. Should I get something more recent ? Is there another device that is better value. Don't really care about bands as she won't be making phone calls with it. Thanks [link] [comments]

Increasing M365 scooter speed? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 04:55 PM PDT Hello! I recently pondered on buying an M365 scooter, since I tried one by renting one in Marina Del Rey from the service "Bird". However, I think that the speed limit of 25km/h is quite pesky, so how do I increase the speed limit? I've seen some videos of people downloading "M365 Free" apps, but since they are only on android and I have an iPhone it seems I can't remove the speed limit. Is there any way to remove the speed limit by using an iOS device or changing something in the hardware? [link] [comments]
Quick Charge Adapter 3.0 - Mi A2 Posted: 01 Sep 2018 08:11 PM PDT So im getting the Xiaomi Mi A2 in a couple of days and i read that the device supports QC 3.0 but the charger that comes with the smartphone doesn't support QC, and i read somewhere on this sub that an adapter with QC 3.0 will not make much difference agains the adapter that comes with the phone. So i was hoping that someone who owns it maeby will clear my doubt, does it makes a difference? Im kinda used to the moto g5 plus quick charge and some data will be great, thanks in advance. Oh and btw if you feel in the mood of sharing what case do you use on the phone that will be great. [link] [comments]

Xiaomi Mi8 questions (fake rom?) Posted: 01 Sep 2018 11:51 AM PDT this is the first Xiaomi phone I have bought ever and I have been having some problems which suggest that I may have a fake ROM (vendor ROM) I bought this Xiaomi Mi 8 international version from GearBest shipped it to the UK. updated the phone: first thing I noticed is that it didn't give me the option to add face unlock, which I think it should have (recently discovered that it is available when I change my region to India, why is that? and is there any way to solve that?). Next thing is that when I tried to configure Google pay (very important to me as I usually forget my wallet) it said: 'couldn't finish setup to pay in shops' 'this may be because it is rooted or altered in some other way.' I couldn't download Netflix from Play Store (minor issue as I got it from APK) Any help is appreciated, thanks a lot MIUI version: MIUI global 9.5 | Stable 9.5.13.0 (OEAMIFA) also: someone said they flashed a global ROM into a Chinese phone, does it mean is a fake ROM or is an original one? redmi note 4 mtk got bricked for no reason? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 10:44 AM PDT Yesterday my phone got discharged.. I charged it then turned it on but it stayed stuck at mi logo for minutes tried so many times but in vain.. I had to fastboot and flash rom to make it work which means I lost all of my data -__- and to top it off now I can't use third party music player even by setting it as default the phone always uses mi music player unless I long press a music and press open with... can a phone get bricked just from getting discharged? Thoughts on the new 9.6.5 oreo update? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 05:07 AM PDT My redmi note 5 (aka redmi 5 plus) received the update yesterday. Its has brought some nifty features to the table and some bugs. The camera interface got complete a makeover with portrait mode for front camera. The problem right now is, its impossible to switch to front cam without getting the app force closed. other changes I've noticed are
And obviously a new easter egg as part of the oreo update. [link] [comments] |
