Just got my first "nice" phone and not sure how to take advantage of it... Posted: 01 Sep 2018 09:48 PM PDT I know that by most people's standards, it's not all that nice anymore, but I was just gifted a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I am used to $25 prepaid phones, so even though this isn't brand new, it's quite the step up. It has a much nicer camera and way more storage than I'm used to, but there has to be something else to justify the several hundred dollar price difference. What am I missing? What can I do with this phone that I couldn't do with my LG Aristo? I'm posting here, because I'm mostly concerned with gaming. Obviously, I can run more advanced games, but my budget phones weren't really lacking in that area all that much. I hope it helps those of you who play ROS or PUBG. Here is the short video: https://youtu.be/uDz7HEzHmyw And here is the script for those of you who rather read through them: Most important thing you can to in a team game is communicate How to pull up the map Setting a marker on you map Most common use of marker by others Weapons and vehicles are randomized Familiarizing yourself with an area gives a huge advantage These areas have more and better loot These areas are more dangerous Majority of players leave plane early How to tell when people are exiting the plane My recommendation to confident players Maximum jump distance is 1300m My recommendation to less confident players No inertia in game I recommend jumping forward How the radiation wall closes in If you are on the long side, the wall moves faster than you can run Each new zone is ⅓ the size of the previous All the numbers for all the rounds Knowing trivia about a game can increase confidence Sports Drinks are great for using when in the radiation zone Radiation zone increases damage each round Switching to a melee weapon (can be fists) increases movement speed People can tell that you don't have a gun by the way you act You don't need a ton of rifle ammo using these tactics Pick up rifle ammo that you find do other players can't get it Don't assume people are shooting at you Long Battles attract a lot of attention Stay near building during this phase In a team game, stay close to your team during this phase Level 3 Items are the best in the game Don't spend too much time trying to get all level 2 gear Rules of Survival is not a shooter game Shooting your gun can often mean death If I see footsteps, I first try to find a way to hide Best place to hide 2nd best place to hide In safe zone, stay in hiding I recommend only killing if it super easy kill Shooting with a silencer will still alert enemies with headphones You can use "knocking down" to tell how cautious you need to be Kill knocked down enemies before they are revived Crawling without cover only makes things worse High grass camouflage is manipulated by elevation and movement I recommend letting others go before you. MMORPG Posted: 01 Sep 2018 09:34 AM PDT Hey! I realize this may be a common question here, but the threads I've checked doesn't really answer what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a good mmorpg that has most (if not all) of the following: More or less open world. I don't like dungeon-based rpg's... "Serious-looking" graphics. I mean, no anime/chibi style designs. Nothing against them, but they're not my thing. No energy system. Minimal, if any, autoplay system (I'd like to be immersed in the game). I'd rather ditch autoplay, but i realize most mmorpg's nowadays have them. If they do, maybe something like Dragon Nest where you can't rely on auto to survive raids. You can have fun in pvp with even mediocre results without having to spend a lot of cash. P2w is here to stay, and there's no avoiding it. So maybe a game where f2p is fine aas far as pve is concerned even if it's p2w in pvp? If anyone knows a good, recent (as much as possible - I'll have a hard time catching up to old titles) mmorpg like what I'm looking for, please let me know.
