| Tiny pink dots/smudges on my S7 screen. Posted: 08 Aug 2018 08:54 AM PDT There seems to be a very slowly growing number of tiny pink dots in/on my screen. Doesn't show up on a screenshot. My previous S6 died due to a light drop causing an LCD leakage, so since then(about 6 months) I've been super careful with it, haven't dropped it or damaged it once. Any idea what this is? Biggest one is maybe 1/16th inch, the rest are even smaller. Started with just the 1/16th inch one, but I've been noticing more and more as time goes on. Surely it's not another LCD leak/bleed? | Posted: 08 Aug 2018 06:25 AM PDT Recently got a bunch of fraud charges on my debit card, and I am curious as to how Samsung Pay works.. I basically use samsung pay for literally everything except online purchases at amazon. I usually use the Magnetic Strip Tech, holding my phone to the Magnetic strip reader at stores. I was under the impression that Samsung Pay worked on a token system like chips, ie basicaly giving the retailer a token that is encrypted and changes every time you use the card... this doesnt happen with actual magnetic strips because the strip cant be reprogrammed like that, but the chip can be. I am trying to find out where exactly my card was stolen. My biggest suspicion is the chinese food place i gave my card to over the phone.. [link] [comments]  | ||

Each time I look I see that my music is selected to be backed up, which is a lot, and each time I uncheck it only to have it reoccur every time I'm on wifi at home. Does anyone else have this issue? I am highly considering a Note phone for going to college in the fall, and am not sure whether to wait for the Note 9, or go with the Note 8. I have gone through similar posts and seen people recommend waiting another year for the Note 10, but that is not an option for me as my current phone is on the fritz and will need to be replaced before the end of this year. I'm not too concerned about the price difference between the two devices, I'm simply looking for an outsiders opinion on the merits of waiting for the Note 9 with some cool new features (but likely deal with some bugs out of the gate) VS getting the Note 8 (No "new release" bugs, but lose out on future updates and features). In addition, it is difficult to charge it. Usually it says "not charging" when I insert the cable, however if I put it in just right it says it is "slow charging". I have tried plugging it into an outlet as well as my computer and both give the same results I tried cleaning the charging port and drying it out with a fan, however neither of these has resolved the issue Phone has never had any issues before. However, while I was using it I bought the SPen that came with the Tab S3 because I would always use it in tablet mode with the SPen as for notes and everything under the sun for college. But the Matebook X Pro doesn't have that 2-in-1 capability. So I'm looking to buy the Tab A 10.1 as my note taking device, but I know the unpacking event two days from now. I'm asking because my history with devices is MacBooks/Ultrabooks and Pixels/iPhones. And want to know what to expect from those who have experience with past Samsung events. Thanks in advance!
