- Just bought a Redmi Note 5 in HK, absolutely loving it so far! Lots of stock in all colours (including new red) for HKD1799. 7 day return policy and 15 months warranty from Xiaomi HK.
- First night with the Note 5. This phone takes fantastic low light night photos!
- Negative Consequences of UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
- Trying to unlock the bootloader of my Redmi Note 5 but it's asking me to insert a sim card? Anyway to bypass this?
- Mi a1 sometimes answer/decline calls by accident when i'm taking it out of my pocket. self.

| Redmi Note 5 throttling in just 15 minutes, any idea to avoid it? Posted: 29 Jul 2018 05:31 PM PDT when im playing pubg while streaming on mixer, at first everything were awesome at around 60fps (if my eyes did not decieve me), but then after around 15 minutes... the game crawls to 20-30 fps (again, if my eyes did not deceive me). any idea to avoid throttling? personally i keep a bottle of alcohol spray beside me, so i simply spray the back-case with alcohol, voila, 60fps again. But spraying every 15 minutes doesnt sound healthy to the case paint/finish... thankyou EDIT: i have tried using water but it took longer to cool the phone. AND its messy (it wont dry by itself) i also have root access, so im okay with system modifications. [link] [comments]  | ||

But with MIUI 9.5, immersion mode was replace with full screen gestures. I'm not a fan of gesturesbut I don't like having the navy bar on at all times. I borrowed one from a friend that didn't work at all, and I bought this one that explicitly stated it worked with Mi Mix 2 and it didn't. In the UK if that helps, would rather not spend a lot. | Posted: 29 Jul 2018 01:26 PM PDT Screenshot_20180730-040652.png I recently bought a new mi Max and have been trying for about a week now to remove the hot mess of miui but with no success unlocking the bootloader, I was aware of the waiting period because my account already has unlocking permissions from a previous note 4 and I thought that it would let me unlock immediately, but it always shows "couldn't verify pls try again" error everytime I try to link my account in developer settings. I read online that developer roms are easier to unlock and so I'm now trying to get the developer version of mi Max but I don't know which is the right one for my device(hydrogen) , also the download page only shows the Global ROM but no Chinese ROM and I must use the Chinese Developer ROM as the phone is factory flashed with Chinese version. Any help will be appreciated to help me get the Chinese Developer ROM and also if I should download a mi Max 32\Prime?? I have Snapdragon 650 [link] [comments]  | ||
