Posted: 26 Jul 2018 03:49 AM PDT Hi all, I know this has been posted countless times before but I'm in a hotel with a Samsung tv and can't get any input menu to access the HDMI ports. I've tried many of the tried and true techniques such as mute-1-1-9 and mute-1-8-2 but none seem to have worked. I've unplugged the set top box from the back of the TV. Also the buttons on the TV itself are completely disabled. If it makes a difference the remote control I have is an ezystream basic remote that the hotel uses for its movie service. Have also called the front desk and they were just confused by the request. The model number is: la37c530f1h The TV seems to exclusively be a hotel model. Any ideas reddit? [link] [comments] |

Please Help- Android Phone Gets Authentication Error for No Reason Posted: 25 Jul 2018 08:31 PM PDT Hello r/24HOURSUPPORT Redditors I have been having the following problem for the past 2 weeks. Whenever I try to connect to my home network's WiFi even though I am 1 million percent sure I have entered the correct password it just does not connect at all or it says that an authentication error occurred. There is something weird going on with my WiFi ever since I switched to a Low-Speed option that my ISP offers (I use a Canadian ISP called Rogers - but Americans and others who want to answer please feel free to I am willing to do ANYTHING to fix this) . I have 1 router...however there are '2 WiFi networks' for me to connect to. I can connect to the one with weaker reception or the one with greater reception. I have noticed no difference in each except that the one with weaker reception disconnects more often. The solutions I have tried to fix this problem are: do a complete factory reset on my phone , reset my router by pressing and holding the button on the back for 10 seconds (I did this twice), going into then out of airplane mode, connecting to both networks using a Static connection rather than a DHCP connection, resetting network settings on my phone, pressing the WPS push button to connect to my phone, entering the WPS PIN. None of these worked at all. The specs for my phone are the following: It is a Samsung Galaxy Neo S5 , Model Number : SM-G903W, Android Version: 7.0, Samsung Experience version: 8.1, Baseband Version : G903WVLU1CQI1 Kernel Version: 3.10.61-12264375, dpi@SWDD6113#1 , Tue Sep 12 13:26:08 KST 2017 Build Number: NRD90M. G903WVLU1CQI1 SE for Android Status: Enforcing, SEPF_SECMOBILE_7.0_0009, Tue Sep 12 13:49:10 2017 Security Software Version: ASKS v.1.4 Release 161228 Knox version: Knox 2.8, Standard SDK 5.8.0, Premium SDK 2.8.0, Customization SDK 2.8.0., Container 2.8.0, CEP 2.2.0 , Enterprise Billing 1.3.0, OTP 2.6.0, SE for Android 2.4.3, Shared Device 2.8.0, TIMA 3.3.007, VPN 2.4.0 Android Security Patch level: August 1, 2017 I cannot run a software update because I cannot connect to the Internet . Also, I have not tried to connect to any other WiFi networks except for my home network. Please help and thank you in advanced.

PC stuck in automatic repair loop. Can’t boot from USB Posted: 25 Jul 2018 04:17 PM PDT I'm really stuck. My PC I use for both work and play just randomly refused to boot today. 3 restarts later and it's stuck with "preparing automatic repair" on the screen. Has been for hours. I've tried multiple boot USBs. Recovery media. UFEI. MBP. GPT. rufus. Legacy boot. All of it. If I try boot into a UEFI bootable USB it just freezes with ASUs on the screen like it would if I'm Booting it normally. With non UEFI boots I get the blinking cursor in the top left forever. I'm usually ok with this stuff but I'm stumped It's an ASUS x99 a2 and Windows 10 is installed on a m.2 SSD. It's been fine for 2 years and now this randomly. Thanks. [link] [comments] |
