Pressing the enter key while an internet browsers is in focus makes the address bar highlighted. Posted: 28 Jun 2018 02:05 PM PDT Whenever I press the enter key in chrome or any other browser the address bar is highlighted after I press it. Another thing to note is other keys are being activated whenever this happens. I have my discord mute hotkey bound to the end key and that gets pressed whenever I hit enter. I thought it only happened with chrome but I tested it with IE with the same results. My enter works as usual everywhere else. I'm honestly stumped. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Jun 2018 01:23 AM PDT I have received calls from two distinct numbers, that I know are not the number they showed up as when they called my phone. The number that both of these calls showed up as was the same on both calls, but the calls were from two distinctly different sources, both of which I know the numbers for (and neither were the number my phone showed as calling). This number that showed as the number the calls were coming from also happens to be a contact that randomly showed up in my SO's phone labeled "Q" - though my SO swears to have never saved this contact. We tried dialing the number and got nothing but a busy signal. What could possibly be causing this strange phenomenon? It's weirding us both out pretty badly, and we just really would like to understand what is happening. My phone is a Moto Z2 Play on Verizon, and my SO's phone is a ZTE Z899 on Total Wireless, if it's relevant. [link] [comments] |
Asus antisurge protection resetted the computer. How to diagnose? Posted: 28 Jun 2018 12:22 AM PDT Asus Maximus Hero VI motherboard just resetted the computer, and at boot showed a warning "Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. Asus Anti-Surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit!" First time happening something like that. PSU is a 750W Seasonic ,connected to APC UPS . Is this AntiSurge protection reliable? Reading the voltages from HWmonitor, 5v and 3v rails are on the low side, but are they in the acceptable range? https://vgy.me/So99bC.png "Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. Window's Camera App won't let me record/ weird error message Posted: 27 Jun 2018 09:22 PM PDT Error message: Sorry, we weren't able to save the video. If you need it, here's the error code: 0xA00F425D <VideoCaptureStartFailed> (0xC00D36D5) . I've searched far and wide but googles not coming up with much on this error code. Grant it, there are error codes that share the same value as the first set of hexes and the last but none that match this exact error code... Tried troubleshooting with windows but that's about it and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! . Update: tried reseting the app, didn't work [link] [comments] |
Old computer struggles to boot Posted: 27 Jun 2018 07:15 PM PDT Hope this is the right subreddit. For about several months ago, I tried to update my old Dell Insprion 15 into the latest version of Windows 10; ever since the beginning of this year. It has giving me shit ever since.
I can't reboot Windows for the life of me. I tried Normal Boot, Safe Mode, Debugging Mode, System Restore (my computer does not have any Restore points saved), Resetting the PC (it just stops at 30% and then undos all of the changes), Startup Repair, etc. Anything else I can do? [link] [comments] |
