| Posted: 02 Jun 2022 07:13 AM PDT Finally received them after paying express shipping yesterday, in transit for a month, then the audio quality is just ok, only LHDC or ACC (acc actually sounds better wtf) and no companion app on top of that. I'm using a mix 4, questionably with eu.rom given this is a Chinese exclusive Xiaomi phone, so no special settings, still that doesn't excuse why no companion app for $200 earbuds, have to use a 3rd party play store app to get some features back. It won't default to single earbud ever, it'll always just stop playback until you squeeze the other earbud. That brings me onto the gestures, they are a good idea on paper but unintuitive irl. Ultimately I payed $200 for some ACC earbuds that just aren't that great. First disappointing Xiaomi product in my long line of buying Xiaomi stuff. Sad noises. [link] [comments] | ||

Some Chinese companies had a simple solution to this. They set up companies in Malaysia and Mexico, and simply exported to those countries first, and from there to USA. Problem solved. After AT&T has banned Xiaomi in the USA, I suspect Xiaomi will do something similar. They will set up a new company in another country, and rebrand their phones under a new name and sell them in USA (with whatever changes AT&T wants them to make). Thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||

A friend of mine debloated it before starting using it. Now, I'm currently on 13.0.16 EEA. Now for the quick questions: a. Shouldn't I have received notification to update the OS by now? It seems that version 13.0.17 has already rolled out? b. The System apps updater also stoped working for some reason and it doesn't open. Does this happen to anybody else? | Mi scale 2 Muscle Ratio Problem Posted: 02 Jun 2022 03:08 PM PDT Hey guys, I have recently bought a Mi Scale 2. I found the body measurements to be a bit of a gimmick, but I enjoy the readings the scale produces. However, there is one thing that bothers me to the max. For context, I am a 20yo male. When I weigh myself on the scale, all body stats are a beautiful bright green, except for one, the Muscle stat. According to the app, I have around 48.7kg of muscle, while I weigh 60.5 kg myself. This makes my muscle ratio about 80%, which should be regular if not slightly good. However, the app says my muscle is insufficient, and the normal zone would be between 49.4 and 59.5 kg. I find this to be extremely high. To get above the "normal" zone and in the "good" zone, you would need to have above 98% muscle in your body.... That is impossible!! This also makes my overall rating "ordinary" and "needs more excercise". While personally I think I am decently muscled. Is this a known bug with the Mi Scale 2, or actually accurate?? I have Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC, MIUI 12 and it has Android 11 with version number something like 12.7.5? I don't know really, I just know it is behind 2 versions. I've had this phone for almost 2 years. So, where's the story: Yesterday (1.6.), something around 22:30 I made my move in-game Polytopia and closed my phone. Went to the bathroom, came back and I wanted to check if my alarms are set. I was trying to open my phone from pattern lock without using fingerprint or face recognition. I've tried a few times and got locked up for 30 seconds - I little bit panicked but I've said to myself... okay, maybe I've aciddently input an incorrect pattern a few times. However, as I kept trying, no pattern was working. None. I've restarted my phone to unlock it with a fingerprint after a restart, however, this was a mistake: after the restart, I am REQUIRED to input the pattern, no matter what. This is the time when I panicked. I've hopped on my computer to tell my friends. I was stressed and scared, since the only way to get on my phone is by the pattern now or resetting all data. My 2FA keys would be lost, everything. I've drawn my attempts at unlocking the phone, all possible patterns which I could have, but none of them worked. As I was not able to fall asleep, I was thinking about which pattern I've had there and came to the conclusion that I know which, but it did not work... My history of tries: https://imgur.com/a/7BCSEZ5 (I am certain that the pattern is the fourth one on the second image.) I am totally lost. Is there something I can do to recover my phone? Please, I beg you. I am suspecting that the pattern was altered by some app or something. The only app that I've installed yesterday was "KFC CZ" - the Czech version of the KFC app. Oh, and I have no root or custom recovery on my phone, so I can't use TWRP to delete the gesture file, as I've seen on other websites. | Problems with redmi buds 3 lite Posted: 02 Jun 2022 10:46 AM PDT I just got them earlier today and I have no idea what to do. Whenever I charge the case the light indicator lights up for around 10 seconds then turns off. I don't know if this just means the case is fully charged or if it isn't charging at all. One more thing is that the right earbud is completely dead. The light on the earbud won't turn on. I tried removing and putting it back in the case, tried holding the touch sensor for 5 and 15 seconds to try and reset it but I got no luck in doing so. [link] [comments] | ||
