I wanted to say a new addition I LIKE about the Google play store

    Posted: 27 May 2022 12:48 AM PDT

'Sword of Glory' - Solo project I was working on for about three years now. Game is on Google Play for some time, finally sharing it anywhere since I'm super shy. Happy to get feedback & suggestions, it's not perfect (nor finished) but it's my first solo game and I'm kind of proud :D Link in comment

Can we get a tab for Controller supported games on the Playstore ?

    Posted: 27 May 2022 10:00 AM PDT

If enough people send feedback we might. If you're interested in this go to the play store app, click on your profile and scroll down to help and feedback and then go down to send feedback. Hopefully it'll get some attention and will be added in the future.

    [REQUEST] Farm game for Android

    Posted: 27 May 2022 10:30 AM PDT

    Single/Multiplayer: Both

    Genre: Farm game

    Online/Offline: Both

Monetization/Cost: Preferably free/one time purchase, hate the ads every 5 mins

    Portrait/Landscape: Any

Key Features: I'm looking for a nice farming game for Android. Feautures I'd like are events with exclusive item, some sort of multiplayer...

I played Stardew Valley a lot on pc, and just don't want to play that again. Big Farm (browser based) was really fun due to the low amount of ads and the abundance of events with specific exclusive items which were achievable for people if they put in the effort. I'm looking for something like that!

    Fight Night Round 3

Is there any way to migrate your Google Play Games data to a new account?

    Posted: 27 May 2022 05:21 PM PDT

Say you have old Google account on your android device and want to move all your game progress and achievements etc. to a different Google account than the one you use for downloading general, non-gaming apps and regular everyday activity on your Android device. Is it possible? I figured out how to switch accounts in Google Play Games but now just wish I had my progress from old account. 😕

    Your Top Three?

    Posted: 27 May 2022 07:05 AM PDT

Mine are XCOM and This War of Mine. Don't even have a third. Played many others, but in the end, nothing else comes close.

I got very into Pixel Soldiers games for a bit.

Big turn offs are IAP, especially as it's more and more pay-to-win, and excessive micromanagement to where I'm wondering why I'm not being required to wash the soldiers' underwear (pay extra for Sparkle Brite detergent - increases morale) and darn their socks (use Silkwool thread to reduce fatigue...)

But it says on netflix that u need android 7 and that's it. Why won't it work???

What games are perfect for touch screens that you wouldn't get the same experience on keyboard/mouse or controller

    Posted: 27 May 2022 04:29 PM PDT

One obvious game that is perfect for a smartphone is fruit ninja. The game would be so much inferior on mouse or controller.

What other games or genres perfectly mesh with the touch screen of a mobile phone?

im guessing puzzle games are great on touch screen?

[REQUEST] Games I can play with one hand

    Posted: 27 May 2022 04:19 PM PDT

I'm going to be having a long tattoo sitting tomorrow, and will only have one hand free. I could do with some games that I can play with one hand to keep me occupied. I don't want anything that requires dexterity or quick reactions, something slow paced or turn based would be ideal. I usually play RPGs or puzzle games, but am open to other suggestions as well.

[Question] I forgot the name of an old Android game, can anyone help me remember maybe?

    Posted: 27 May 2022 02:45 PM PDT

I know this is kinda dumb considering the game's old and I don't know the name, but I was hoping at least *someone* still knows about it. The fact I can't remember the name has been bothering me for about a year and a half at this point and not only is it really starting to get annoying, but the nostalgia is also killing me lol.
If I had to give a brief description, it would be a 2013 top-down zombie shooter/strategy game that includes multiple "doggo" characters being controlled with touch movement and shooting zombies (that look like mummies). If I had to guess it got removed sometime in 2017, or even sooner than that, as I can't find it in any of my Google Play accounts.

In more detail, the game is played more as a strategy game, including some stealth elements. The goal is to kill al zombies and complete levels (there being special zombies and/or bosses as well). The controls are pretty simple : you can tap the icon of the character you want to use, then said character moves where you tap the screen (or if you tap a zombie and they're in range, they'll shoot it)

It also included an "Armory" of some sorts where you could buy upgraded guns and such. The game even boasted a passive-multiplayer mode where you'd raid a random player's base with your characters.
Characters include a black and white doggo (can't remember exactly but it's a...Husky?) as the default character that uses an AR. The second character is a sniper, the third's a huge Bulldog with a chaingun and the last one's a small adorable puppy that uses a drone radar laptop thing.

Sadly that's all I really remember and, whilst I doubt anyone remembers this, I still got hope. Besides, it doesn't hurt to ask...right?

    Space game without pvp

    Posted: 27 May 2022 02:28 PM PDT

Hello, I love space games of all kinds, mostly focused on building an empire and an economy.
But in games like Ogame other players can destroy your progress and these games can absorb your life easily.
I am looking for a empire/exploration/economy/building space game, preferably browser game to be able to play from my phone, where there is no PvP (or if there is, it is optional).
    Thanks all

[Request] Something to play while my code's compiling

    Posted: 27 May 2022 10:42 AM PDT

Single/Multiplayer: Singleplayer? I'm okay with async MP arena stuff, but nothing where another player can meaningfully impact my game state in a negative way.

Genre: Something idle/incremental/growth-y. Could be town builder, could be an idle game, a TD game, could be anything, really.

Online/Offline: any? but I'd prefer offline, I guess.

Monetization/Cost: Preference to games without a bunch of IAP bullshit; I'd rather pay $10 for a good premium game than be bombarded with "SPECIAL OFFER!" and "WATCH AN AD FOR BONUS!" and stuff.

    Portrait/Landscape: Don't care.

Key Features: Not action-y. Seriously, no ARPGs, no rhythm games.

Stuff I've already played and enjoyed: Dungeon Village / DV2, AdVenture Capitalist, Bloons TD 6, Bridge Constructor Portal, Cell to Singularity, Deep Town, Disney Emoji Blitz, Evoland, M&M Clash of Heroes, Meteorfall, Dreamquest, Mindustry, Mini Metro, Night of the Full Moon, One Deck Dungeon, Plants vs Zombies, Plasma Sky, Magikarp Jump, Swords & Potions/Shop Heroes/Shop Titans, Slay, Summoners War, Polytopia, Swarm Simulator, Unknown Knights, Wayward Souls, YMBAB

Stuff I've played and didn't enjoy: Arknights, BGEE, Battle Chasers (phone couldn't run it), Castle Cats, Defense Zone 2/3, EvoCreo, FEH, Guardian Chronicle, Guild of Dungeoneering, Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?!, ItRtG, Marvel Puzzle Quest, Pixel Dungeon, Siralim, Tap Healer

    [REQUEST] Mystery/Puzzle games

    Posted: 27 May 2022 02:11 PM PDT

Any recommendations for games like Tiny Room Stories: Town Mystery or The Room series.

Basically one that involves solid thought process and memory whilst being able to move around a set environment.

These are the only 2 games within that criteria that I've found, googling it just comes up with other detective games which don't have an environment element and basically hidden item games.

    Thanks so much.

    looking for "continuous" games

    Posted: 27 May 2022 12:00 PM PDT

TLDR: looking for games where you hit play and are in the game world. If you die, you aren't thrown back to a menu. Continuous sessions.

As much as I love some of the games with the standard mobile formula of loading into a session of some sort, I want to play more games where I'm not restricted in that way.

The games don't have to be open world, or even free, but I've played enough battle royales, mission based games like Arknights or Dislyte, and team based multiplayer matches like Pixel Gun or Clash Royale.

Best open world example I can think of for mobile is Genshin Impact, but I've exhausted myself on that. Dead Cells is a great roguelike example.
