Can anyone explain how Play Store top charts really work?

    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 06:56 AM PDT

Play Store top charts seem soo obscure to me. On what parameters do they determine ranking? Number of downloads, doesn't seem to be the sole criteria for ranking.

    About a quiz game

    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 07:13 AM PDT

I've seen this game some time ago and forgot the name. So, in the game you live as someone different each time and there's a time when you can make a wish to a witch, and that wish only happens if you answer a quiz correctly. The quiz can be about literally anything

    A long lost racing game

    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 06:51 AM PDT

So about 8 or 7 years ago, there was a racing game that i have long forgotten the name of. It was like ridge race but it isnt ridge race slipstream (the long removed game) But i have a feeling that the game has also been removed since going over my dads old phones and all of my phones history, i cant find it. If someone has atleast and idea of what it is please reach out to me. Only thing i can remeber is it had this ice level and another level that was set on a beach and you had to go in a glass tunnel that had water all around it. Also can add it had a dope ass soundtrack. Thank you to anyone who actually tries to help me.

TIL that within the gaming industry, mobile gaming excluding advertisements ($93.2B) is worth more than PC gaming ($37.2B) and console gaming ($50.4B) combined.

    Mario Arena Figther

    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 06:55 AM PDT

    Hello people,

I played a mini-game years ago with friends where you fought each other on the same keyboard and screen with different colored Marios. You had I think 3 lives and whenever someone jumped on your head, a life was gone. Likewise, you could only have the NPCs fight each other. Does anyone know the name of the game?

    Thanks a lot :)

    Updating app moved to SD?

    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 07:32 AM PDT

Same SD, same device, not removed.

In app store, it says under 1 G to update, but as soon as it starts, it acts like i need enough space on phone itself for entire app about 5G

    Can someone explain please?

Just released my first mobile game on the play store. It's based off of my webcomic Crusadia Connected

    Posted: 26 Mar 2022 08:16 AM PDT

Some dumb questions about Google stadia...

    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 11:28 AM PDT

    1. What is it? I've seen the controllers available to buy but Google and other websites don't really explain what it is. I'm still confused! I know it's a subscription service...but what do you get for that? Is it worth it?

    2. Can the controller work with a pc and\or my pixel phone?

    3. You can pick up sealed controllers with Chromecast on eBay for a good price. Is this worth it? Anything I should watch out for?

    Sorry for the noob questions!

Looking for a good long term games

    Posted: 26 Mar 2022 05:31 PM PDT

Hello guys, I've been looking into some good long term games (like clash of clans) where you keep upskilling as you progress through. Im not looking for another building game like COC, nor games like PUBG, COD which I've already gotten bored of. Pls suggest some good ones for me where I've to check-in daily, have friends, play some PvP.

Looking for games with art style similar to Arknights, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Counterside

    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 10:19 AM PDT

I used to despise "anime waifu collectors", but these really stood out to me due to their art style so now they're starting to grow on me.

I'm looking for games with similar art style and themes because I'm getting bored of high fantasy and sword-and-sorcery at this point. Doesn't have to be a gacha RPG or waifu collector.

I don't mind if it's grindy, P2W, involves lootboxes/NFTs or whatever, I'll play it mostly for the art.

EDIT: I know there's Azur Lane and Girls Frontline, but I can't run them due to technical issues with my device.

Are there any good HOP adventure game studios that still publish? It seems they are all dying.

    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 09:17 AM PDT

Hop games - hidden object puzzle games (basically point and click adventures with puzzles).

I was just shocked by the news about Mad Head games abandoning making adventure games to focus on shooters. Then I explored other favourite studios and realised that Eipix games doesn't seem to be active and Big Fish is basically dead.

DG and Artifex Mundi games are usually too boring and easy for me (unless you have any suggestions).

Are there any new up-and-comers? Or is the genre dyong since everyone seems to be dying off?

[Request] Looking for a game that involves collecting and breeding cute animals/creatures

    Posted: 26 Mar 2022 03:32 PM PDT

Single/Multiplayer: Ideally some sort of friend system.

    Genre: Monster collecting/breeding

Online/Offline: Either but online would be preferred for the aforementioned friend system.

Monetization/Cost: Paid or free so long as the monetization isn't terribly done

    Portrait/Landscape: Any

Key Features: Gotta have cute creatures.

I've tried Zen Koi 2 and the concept is right but the gameplay is boring and repetitive. Plus the IAPs are less than stellar.

    Surfasaursus is underrated

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmQfl9421_w

Its since gone from Google Play but for a free game it was great. Its a 8 bit rpg style simulation game. Flew under the radar. On Steam it has few reviews. Dont know why its removed from GP but this stuff happens all the time. The same company made the Axe Cop rpg which I havent played but it looks pretty good. Just trying to draw some attention to a overlooked game. Check it out if you can find it if you like Stardew Valley type of games.

    Carbon Warfare?

    Posted: 26 Mar 2022 05:47 PM PDT

I used to play this game a few years ago. I've been trying to find it because I wanna play it again, but it seems to have been taken down everywhere. I can't find it on the store, both app and site, and the only download available just screams "I am a virus".

    What happened to it?

NBA Live on Mobile: Can't play anything other than 4th quarters?

    Posted: 26 Mar 2022 11:12 PM PDT

Like I'm just tryna play some ball, not tryna do this extra shit playing some random 4th quarter with a random player and team. Not even the full 4th quarter? Idk. Tbh I don't even know where to go. Idc about these objectives but they the only thing I have? I play 2k I don't do this nba live thing so idk. Am I not allowed to play full games? And not some 5 minute quarters lbs. Do I have to keep doing this random missions? Like I said tbh idek what I'm doing, they don't offer much help, guidance or information. 2k you could just open the game, choose teams, change some settings and play the match. What am I doing with this?
