For quite a while, my phone acts like I am Russian or something like that. It's displaying prices in rubles, apps from the play store that should be available in my country (they are available on my mom's phone) are not there and recently I took a screenshot, put it on my pc to reverse image search for the thing and Google popped up some Russian text. I recently switched from a Samsung galaxy A50 to a Samsung galaxy S10 Lite, thinking that the actual phone could be the problem, but it looks like this was not the case. I think it might have something to do with my Google or Samsung accounts but I really don't know what to do about it. I'm from România, for the record, but getting the prices in rubles instead of euros or RON(the romanian currency) is a bit weird (even tho I get discounts, like I kinda pay half the price for stuff bought through Google services, I don't know how that works). Most annoying is not being able to install apps that definitely are avaliable in my country, like Lidl plus app. (I'm a student and I kinda need those discounts from there) Anyone got any idea on how to get this fixed? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 09:33 AM PST Hey, trying to transfer all my text messages (sms, mms, and iMessage, including attachments like photos, recordings etc) from an iPhone 6 to my new android phone Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro. So far I've tried 2 apps that doesn't do the job: - Samsung Smart Switch misses some random messages, so can't be trusted. It also doesn't transfer attached images in iMessage conversations. It does however transfer images in non-iMessage conversations. None of the other apps I've researched (most are paid apps) give a clear statement whether they can transfer iMessage attachments or not. Anyone know an app that you can confirm do this job (transfer all sms, mms, iMessage INCLUDING all attachments that has been sent in the conversations)?? | Posted: 30 Jan 2021 09:15 PM PST So a few months ago Firefox which is my main browser started to act up and it would not let me save images anymore from the Google images page. So I thought it was weird but then if I go into the site the image is in I can do it just fine. After that little work around I noticed the images were no longer showing up in my gallery but in the download folder and they will not let me move them to the gallery at all. Chrome works just fine I can save an image and it goes right into gallery and the download folder as well. Is anyone else having the same issue? Any ideas? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 30 Jan 2021 08:48 AM PST Hi, I've used Adguard for some time but recently learned about an independent project via XDA Developers called NetGuard. I like the simplicity of Adguard where you can select different lists to add to your hosts file and whatnot. Adguard seems to be better at blocking ads, popups, etc., but I've been told NetGuard can be just as good - I just don't know how to achieve that. I don't have any experience aside from simply selecting stuff from the Adguard settings. Just curious if anyone out there has used both and what they think. [link] [comments]  |

| Why can't I turn on Safe Mode? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 05:57 PM PST Is have a Samsung A71 and I am trying to turn on Safe Mode but for some reason I cannot and I do not know why. The methods I have tried are turning off the phone and holding down the volume buttons, holding the power off button and waiting for the safe mode option to show up and asking Bixby to turn on safe mode which she replied that she "can't help with that yet" even though she should be able to. | how do i find out what version of an app i'm using on an older phone? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 05:56 PM PST I want to find out which version of quickpic i'm using on an older phone. When I installed it on my newer phone finding the version was no problem. On the older one I couldnt find it. I went to settings/apps/app info and clicked on it and that's where it was shown in the newer phone but not the older phone. So i went down to app details in store but then it got stuck (that circle that keeps spinning). Which kinda makes sense as the app isnt available in the store anymore. One issue I'm having with the installation in the new phone. I installed an older version which is safe (the newer versions are kinda screwy) but for some reason the text is neon pink. OK not a big deal but I'd like to fix that. I went to Themes but that doesnt fix it, it changes the background but the text stays neon pink. Would anyone know how else I might fix that? | Need help with Gboard's language settings Posted: 30 Jan 2021 07:27 AM PST So I've been using 2 languages on Gboard (English & Greek) forever but recently added German because I started learning it. So, my problem is that I now have 3 keyboards; 1 for English which is multilingual with German, 1 for German which is multilingual with English, and 1 for Greek My question is, could I somehow get rid of let's say the German keyboard but still have the English/German multilingual one? I've already tried deleting one of the two but the option to have the other language with it gets deactivated. Sorry if I don't make much sense, I can't explain it much better. They can only start hearing me if I switch my speaker on and then off again - Its especially weird because I don't face any issues when I us WhatsApp call or Voice Notes..Could this be a hardware issue or something else? I got this notification "Some messages not downloaded in Messages". And then I got 10+ messages at once that, from context of the group chat, not all sent at that one moment. Then it happened a second time with same notification. Touching the notification just opened Messages but didn't clear the notification. Swiping left did clear the notification. What's the issue? | Help with Galaxy A11 - Circle with diagonal line Posted: 30 Jan 2021 03:59 PM PST Trying to set up my grandmothers phone after my mom gifted her one and it keeps saying "No network connection" and has a circle with a diagonal line running thought it in the status bar (pic below) Checked mobile data, airplane mode, etc. Mother said it worked fine before she took it to the Sprint store to get pictures swapped. While on the phone with Sprint they mentioned the SIM card may need updated and that there was an 80$ charge.
