All calls come from speaker. Posted: 30 Jan 2021 08:11 PM PST I'm on a op7 with the os11 beta that just came out and any calls I make are on speaker no matter what. I literally can't talk privately. Pressing the speaker button will only lower the speaker volume but it's still clearly audible to the surrounding people. Only started when updating to 11. There are a couple posts on the oneplus forums about this exact issue but no solutions. Does anyone here have a suggestion? It's constantly visible and it's distracting whenever I try and use my phone. I've tried looking into this but I haven't found anything useful. Which Oneplus phones have the broken Hardware Attestation? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 07:31 PM PST I understand that certain oneplus phones have a broken TEE, which means they will essentially always be able to pass safetynet with an unlocked bootloader. I've read that the OP7 definitely has this, but does this include the whole series? Eg the oneplus 7T, 7 pro etc. I've also heard that the 8 series has this, but I can't seem to find much about that. Few Questions Regarding the Visible (Carrier) version of OnePlus 8 Posted: 30 Jan 2021 11:52 AM PST Hi, first time OnePlus user here, and i'm having couple questions/issues and i'm wondering if anyone has an insight on it. I recently got a OnePlus 8 (IN2015) from the carrier visible, and i seem to see some extra restrictions, so i'm hoping to confirm if that's by design. The phone is at Oxygen OS 10.5.4.IN68CE, while OnePlus website has the latest software of 11.0.2.2.IN21AA. It won't detect this update via settings menu, neither does it recognize the zip file that i put on the root of internal storage in local upgrade. Is this a bug or is it an intentional restriction for being the carrier version? The phone comes with a SIM trey that could fit only one sim. If i get a dual-SIM trey, will it work with dual sim? The Android smart text selection feature appears to be not working when i'm at the task manager. Is that supposed to be a bug, or is it disabled by design? Any information is appreciated. [ROOT] Help! Oneplus nord n100 phone Posted: 30 Jan 2021 01:34 PM PST Hello I'm having trouble rooting the oneplus nord n100 phone. I cannot find any boot images for this phone specifically apparently it's the UK model. And I cannot get TWRP to work on it either. So I'm just here to see if anyone can point me in the right direction like a proper up to date tutorial for that specific phone I've been at this for a couple months and everywhere I try to ask for help they just remove my posts and tell me to ask somewhere else on reddit. I'm just looking for a tutorial on how I can root the oneplus nord n100 phone that is apparently a UK model. I can get the bootloader unlocked no problem and got fastboot done I just get stuck at TWRP. However I was wondering how can I change the scanning animation of the fingerprint scanner on my 6t? I think it has been discontinued but if somebody has the APK can you please upload it to Google drive maybe or something like that? OnePlus 5T not booting properly. Posted: 29 Jan 2021 11:23 PM PST Hi. I use a OnePlus 8T as my main phone, but since I'm a rebellious teenager I've still retained my old 5T for use outside of normal hours. Last night I locked my 5T and set it on my bedside table. Just there now, when I've woken up, it was stuck in safe mode and attempting to reboot it after clearing cache has led to it booting into safe mode. Are there any other steps I could take to even try and diagnose why the phone has suddenly failed to turn on? Resetting to factory settings won't be a massive loss as I can always restore a backup from my current phone.
